Should've learnt from Haryana, MP and Karnataka elections not to take exit polls too seriously, the real deal is when the evm spits out the results.

For me too, this will be the real treat, much as I would like BJP to will four out of the five states, even if it only wins UP that is enough - it is the most important election after the GE in India.

I only learnt today that of all the CMs UP has had so far, only 3 have completed full five year terms - Mayawati, Akhilesh and Yogi. And if the Gods are kind, Yogi will be the first one to come back for a second term.

Fingers crossed. Very early trends - look promising.

Looks like the real damage was done by SAD, they have done way better than anyone expected . If SAD and BJPs voteshare had passed to INC then they may have been able to scuttle AAP in PJ. The only way anyone can stop AAP now is if some of its MLAs break away and BJP+INC+SAD comes together but we all know there's a greater chance of pakis giving up terrorism than BJP, Congress and SAD forming a coalition .

BSP is the reason why BJP is crossing 200 in UP, its votes have shifted to BJP and not SaPa. Looks like toonti chor's allegations that Mayawati has purposefully held back campaigning to give BJP the advantage maybe true after all.

That may be true, but as development happens and new younger voters come in, then Mayawati will not matter going forward. She will be gone come 2027.

Come off it now....BJP had a very strong performance and campaign....in addition, BSP voters did not shift just because of Mayawati's inertness. Whatever benefits they got from 2017 onwards were due to Yogi. You can return to criticisms after the results are done and dusted....

UP and UT for sure. Manipur may be a coalition. Goa may be hard if opposition gangs up on the BJP.

:rotfl:
BSP's voters (non-Jatav Dalits) shifted to BJP even in 2019. Even Jatavs shifted to BJP where BSP did not contest in 2019.
BSP was able to get Muslims/Brahmins before but Muslims want a criminal scum who will allow their criminal leaders to loot/rape. Akhilesh fits the bill. So they moved to him. They hold no loyalties. They will take subsidies/rations/development but vote for appeaser only.
Non-jatav dalits are voting for Yogi because he has not discriminates against anyone unlike Maya
