MIRAMSHAH: At least eight militants were killed and four others wounded Tuesday when US drones fired missiles at militant compounds in a lawless Pakistani tribal area, security officials said.
The missiles struck militant compounds in the villages of Haider Khel and Hasookhel some 25 kilometres east of Miramshah, the main town in the North Waziristan tribal district, a stronghold of Taliban and Al Qaeda-linked militants.“US drones fired missiles on two militant compounds. At least eight militants have been killed,” a security official in Miranshah told AFP.The two attacks occurred within an hour, with four militants killed in each compound, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.Another security official in the northwestern city of Peshawar confirmed the attack and casualties. Both officials said the identity of those killed was not yet known.

China calls for calm along LoC
BEIJING, Jan 7: China on Monday advised both India and Pakistan to keep calm along the Line of Control and stressed that ensuring peace in South Asia was important. In reply to a question about the killing of a Pakistani solder by India forces after crossing the LoC on Sunday, foreign ministry spokesman Hong Lei said China had noticed the relevant press reports on the incident. As a neighbour and friend of both India and Pakistan, China hoped the two countries could properly and calmly resolve their disputes through dialogue and negotiation so as to jointly uphold peace and stability in South Asia, the spokesman said.—APP

Very strange that both friends of TSP have referred to thie Haji Pir incident. India should advise China to maintain calm the next time it talks about Senkaku islands. These countries recognize only forceful replies.

This is pakis with brown pants running to their masters. Looks like IA scared them real big this time. Wonder what has really happened? Paki will never admit loss of many and of course their H&D&S, on the other hand IA will never admit crossing LOC so we will never know what really has happened. But by judging their master's responses it looks like pakis lost their big S this time to Indians.

^^^^ Just thinking aloud.
With USians withdrawing a la Saigon, from Afghanistan, would it not be in our interests to increase our activity on our western borders in a calibrated manner to give the Porkis the chance to express regular painful gubo grunts and the pekineses to yip yap their displeasure. The vacuum created by USians withdrawal will definitely negatively impact the porkis if they don't have their eyeballs on their western durable line?
Dreams are made of such stuff.

Outrage in Pakistan as police slow to arrest murder suspects from elite class
Shahzeb Khan was cruising through the streets of Karachi, Pakistan, in the early hours of Christmas morning in a blue Suzuki Swift, an early birthday present from his parents.
The 20-year-old university student was on his way home after hours spent celebrating his older sister’s wedding. At about 2:45 a.m., a car pulled alongside him and unleashed a hail of bullets, police say. Doctors said Khan, the son of a local police officer, died almost instantly.
His murder, police say, was an act of revenge.
Khan had argued earlier with a neighbour named Nawab Siraj Talpur after Talpur’s servant made an inappropriate remark about Khan’s sister and Khan slapped him. Khan’s father intervened and the argument seemed to be settled. But it wasn’t long before Talpur and his friend Shahrukh Jatoi, both from families that enjoy positions of privilege, allegedly had their revenge.
Two weeks after Khan’s murder, one of the two main suspects has been captured, the other has reportedly fled the country with the help of police insiders, and Khan, a good-looking man with spiked hair and a well-groomed beard, has become a national symbol.
In the same way that a young woman’s rape and murder in India has helped stoke public anger over violence against women, outrage over Khan’s murder continues to build throughout neighbouring Pakistan, shining an unwanted light on the country’s aristocratic feudal class, infamous for using influence-peddling to sidestep the law.

Yes. But, when one of her customers comes to us and says that he is aware of the whore's incurable transmittable diseases and festering wounds but is yet sleeping with her and also tells us that he would like to court us because he is deeply in genuine love with us, we have to be extremely careful, haven't we ?

Juhi Chawla enjoys short, pleasant stay in Pakistan
The actress along with her husband Jai Mehta went to Karachi to attend a family wedding. She says they walked around with a security man.
"We had an armed security at all times that we left the house. Important people have them there. A reminder of the undercurrent of violence," she posted.
"Pakistani people enjoy Hindi movies. They've watched them all, and were so pleasantly surprised and happy to see me there. As I said my goodbyes, the cook says 'Salman (Khan) bhai ko mera salaam kehna (Give my regards to Salman bhai)'. The helper says, 'Please bring Shah Rukh Khan here', the maid enquires, 'Will you be meeting Aamir (Khan)?' I couldn't help but laugh. They were so sweet," Juhi wrote

Shiv Aroor reporting on HT quoting IA sources that regular PA armymen infiltrated into Indian side, ambushed a patrol and mutilated/beheaded 2 jawans. Both jawans were from Rajputana Rifles.( Ln. Nk Hemraj and Singh)

Clear cut commando raid.
Interesting to see what the IA response will be. The folks there will be seething, esp with all the mutilation.

Somehow, when I heard of a trans-border raid by the IA, the first reason to cross my mind was an extreme provocation like the earlier Ilyas Kashmiri episode. If this is true, I would blame our netas directly for their stupid overtures. They are playing seriously with Indian lives.

The issue is one of getting to the Pak Army. Not that problematic if we are willing to cross the border. But our policos like to repeat that the borders and sacrosanct can should not be violated.
What about Paki Navy sailors? In order to catch them and behead them we may not need to violate Pakistan's sau-virginity! Any Paki Navy ship can be stopped on the high seas, the sailors decapitated and their heads stuck on rods on the ship! It will be quite a spectacle to see the Pakis find their dead ship again!
That should definitely be on the cards! It does not "show disrespect to LoC", No?

Sir, already pushed under carpet by MEA.
Wont even bother putting up the statement given by MEA. Am only hoping that wheels are turning in the background and the TSP-ians ( mostly must be the SSG) involved are hunted like pigs when they are loitering near the border the next time

IA's retaliation must be made known to the Indian public because Indians have to be assured that such barbarity does not go unpunished. This affects the morale of the army and the entire nation. We are constantly pummelled by terrorists from TSP and then the PA inflicts unspeakable mutilation on IA soldiers. No country, worth its salt, will keep quiet even after such repeated humiliations. After all, what are all the weapons we acquire for hundreds of billions of dollars ? The retribution must be swift and disproportional.

Actually what MEA says in its public statements is not that important. They will always churn out bland boring and politically correct statements.
The question is: What are they saying in private to the military? Are they discouraging strong action?

There was another similar incident yet to be answered from 2011 - then too the paid media did its best to coverup the incident under the Aman ki tamasha smokescreen. Expect a similar response now from the bulk of our sold out media.
http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/jamm ... 47238.html
Some heavy shelling on Paki concentrations to snuff out their precious artillery and not so precious men while giving a taste of the qualitative and quantitative dominance acquired by IA since Kargil and Parakram would be a fitting response, but apart from perpetrating police violence on sleeping sadhus during midnight or on the unarmed student protesters with teargas, the sikular hijda congrez dispension at the center suddenly turns ball less when it comes to answering the external aggression on India.
