In the news Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was moved from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center to a prison hospital at Federal Medical Center Devens, U.S.
Interestingly this place is also holding the paintball paki -
Sabri Benkahla (for lying to authorities and training with TSPians in Pakistan.he was part of an gang that trained with paintball guns in US.. (He is scheduled for release in 2016

)
It also has the Wall Street trader
Raj Rajaratnam, who has a bad kidney. He was sentenced to 11 years after an insider trading conviction... less number of years than the mr. paint ball..

I didn't think about it (not sure about others) if we review the timelines.
Bizarre?
"Because Tamerlane’s mother was the first member of the immediate family to become a fervent Muslim, which included her own decision to wear the hijab, it stands to reason that Tamerlane turned to his mother in 2010, who helped facilitate his entry into the world of Islamic extremism. Moreover, she had to be the one who introduced Tamerlane to the person or persons who ultimately put him in touch with the jihadists who taught him how to make explosives and build improvised explosive devices.
Here is the bizarre–the Russians identify Tamerlane as a potential terrorist problem in 2011. So why did the Russians not do anything to detain or question Tamerlane when he returned to Russia in Janaury 2012. It is not because the Russians lack computers with identifying information. They absolutely do have such systems. And then there is the icing on the cake–Tamerlane leaves Russia after spending almost six months in country and neither the Russians nor the United States thinks twice to detain and/or question him.

Also from timeline .(ink above) .. some tidbits ..
.
In August 2010 University magazine photo profile of Tamerlan, entitled "Will Box for Passport, An Olympic Drive to Become a United States Citizen," a caption under one of the photos reads, "Though he's lived in the U.S. for five years, Tsarnaev says, 'I don't have a single American friend.'"
Here is a pdf of that: Very interesting ..

June 2010 Wedding: Tsarnaev marries Russell, who is pregnant. She had converted to Islam and they are married by an imam in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood, according to their marriage certificate, which lists his profession as a driver
(He began dating Katherine Russell, a Suffolk University student he'd met at a nightclub in 2007 )

For the record .. from the official sources ...
Jan 2012: Tamerlan was traveling ... misspells his name when submitting its list of passengers to the U.S. government for security screening. Airlines are required to provide the list of passengers on international flights so the U.S. can check their names through government database and watch lists. Because his name is misspelled, there is not another alert like there was three days earlier.
(Tsarnaev travels to Russia's, where his father had recently relocated. Three days before his departure, the TECS database generates an alert on Tsarnaev. That alert is shared with a Customs and Border Protection officer who is a member of the FBI's Boston joint terrorism)
When he returns to US (July 2012?)
Alert is generated in TECS. This information is again shared with the Customs and Border Protection officer on the FBI's Boston joint terrorism task force. ( more than a year after the FBI closed its investigation)

June 2012 Mom is arrested in Natick, Mass., and charged with stealing women's clothing valued at $1,624 from a Lord & Taylor store. She returns to Russia a short time later. (She jumped bail, and thus now there is an arrest warrent)
September 11, (or all dates) 2012: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev becomes a naturalized U.S. citizen. (The date, i am told is just a coincidence .. there is no way for a candidate to select a particular date to take an oath)

If the guy met Katherine Russell a US citizen, in 2007 and eventually married her after getting her pregnant in Jun 2010 how was he saying two months later he has no US friends? he doesnt consider her an American because she is his wife?

Exclusive: Government doc shows how closely Boston Marathon bombers followed al Qaeda plans
A detailed analysis of the bombs used at the Boston Marathon and during a firefight between the suspects and law enforcement shows how closely the bombmakers followed instructions from the digital al Qaeda magazine “Inspire,” according to a government document obtained by NBC News.
The unclassified report from the Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center found that the pipe bombs allegedly thrown from a car by Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev during last Friday’s chase through Watertown, Mass., resembled the design described in “How to Make a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom,” an article in the first issue of the English-language magazine. At least one of the Watertown bombs used an elbow pipe wrapped in black tape, as discussed in “Inspire.”
...
...
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who survived the Watertown shootout and was captured last Friday night, has told investigators that he and his brother Tamerlan got bombmaking instructions from “Inspire,”
...
...
“Inspire” magazine was launched by al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, al Qaeda’s Yemeni affiliate, in July 2010, and aimed at fomenting jihad among U.S. and other Western Muslims. The publication included messages from radical U.S.–born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and Osama bin Laden, and was edited by U.S.-raised jihadi Samir Khan, a one-time basement blogger in North Carolina who relocated to Yemen. It contained articles on “open source” jihad, urging Westerners to mount “lone wolf” attacks using methods ranging from home-made bombs and forest fires to vehicular homicide.

Immigration officials holding two fellow students of Boston bombing suspect
The two men were identified to Fox News as Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, both citizens of Kazakhstan. They can be seen standing next to Tsarnaev in a photo believed to have been taken in April 2012 in Times Square, which authorities suspect was another of the bombers' intended targets
Kadyrbayev's father, Murat Kadyrbayev, told Kazak news website Tengri News that Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov were in Tsarnaev's social circle but nothing more. The father also said a "TERRORISTA #1" vanity plate on a BMW jointly owned by the two young men was just a joke.

Seems like these folks have taken inspiration from the movie: Borat.
May be Azamat Tazhayakov (mentioned above) dude will claim that his passport is stolen as his namesake does in the movie

He doesn't consider her a Friend because she is his wife. "Friend" implies a relationship between equals. This guy was far too pure/pious to entertain such nonsense.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev noted about his “European style,” and is portrayed walking from his silver Mercedes Benz to the Boston gym. He also talked about his love for the movie “Borat,” despite some of the jokes being too over the top for his taste.

BTW....I have known some maladjusted immigrants in my time in the USA.
A combination of the guns on the street and good roads/suburban living, depeoples the streets. And when there is no one on the streets...how do you meet and make friends?
Even if you meet people... Individualism makes folks there quite aloof at times. It is tough to obtain a sense of belonging to some group....since there are NO groups, but only individuals doing their own thing, with very little sense of obligation to be social.
I have found a lot of people to be bad at getting back, returning social calls, inviting people for dinner etc.
But thats just my observations of American loneliness. Your mileage may vary.
So yeah, TT may have had a point....no American friends....sure. {but that doesnt mean you blow up buildings!}

Ramana angry and frustrated people need to take it out on someone specific that they hate to feel better. The Oklahoma bombing was against a government building. 9-11 was against symbols of the USA. School shootings are often directed at teachers or students who are disliked.
In the US the easiest method to kill en masse for mango Abdul is by gun.
For a bomb you need special knowledge and an intention not to get caught - so you are not targeting specific known people whom you want to confront an kill and feel better. I have not looked but I would be happy to be pointed to any site that tells me how to make a pressure cooker bomb in a language I understand. That tech is an ISI/LeT special and Inspire magazine may have got it from them
So we have Tamerlane targeting a symbol of an American city (a marathon run) and killed people unknown to him because he did not care whom he killed. That means that he was aiming at the symbol, not the person. His method of killing sought anonymity - he killed and vanished - meaning that it was a deliberate act. He wanted to live and did not want direct credit (or blame) for the act but may have wanted to savour the carnage. His source of technology was unusual for anyone except an Islamic terrorist
All in all this guy is an Islamist who has had some indoctrination, working for Islam. It would be silly to try an pin the blame on Al Qaeda because no such organization exists. There is a huge loose network of trained terrorists who will train all and sundry to take out their frustration on certain countries. They are given the training and let loose. I hope the US enjoys this - because letting loose trained terrorists is something that is a speciality of post colonial wars with western mercenaries - funded in later years by the CIA. Islamic groups are not stupid - they know that lone terrorist or groups are the best. So they train them and seed the world.

FWIW:
>>>A little more than three years ago top Boston FBI agent Richard DesLauriers, the same man running the bombing investigation, took part in an FBI operation code-named "Ghost Stories" in which 10 people were rounded up because the United States believed they were Russian spies.
Two of those people, Donald Heathfield and Ann Foley, were arrested in Cambridge, Massachusetts, about a mile west of the house the Tsarnaevs lived in. All 10 were handed over to Russia in a carefully choreographed exchange for four Russians who had been jailed for working for western governments.

Chechen brothers may have been linked to 3 grizzly murders in 2011. Three men got their throats slit and marijuana was sprinkled on their corpses. Authorities believe younger brother may have held a gun to their heads while the older brother slit their throats. Friends of younger brother say he was a campus drug dealer. These Muslims have gone Paki nuts.

The Tsarnaev family: A faded portrait of an immigrant’s American dream
The transformation of the mom is almost unrecognizable from what she looked like years ago. The whole family seems to be dysfunctional. Mom convicted of stealing dresses from department store, dad regularly stealing from parts stores, two murderous sons, one daughter in jail for dealing pot in December 2012, another daughter has completely disassociated herself from her family. The uncle and the one daughter seem to be the only normal ones in this family.

Just watched GPS. Zakaria also repeated the same line - Russian immigrants did it or some such.
At the end, he talked to Mira Nair about her new movie "The Reluctant Fundamentalist". Oh boy, was it a grand session of mutual back scratching. Both of them started identifying all of the sub-continentals with Pakistanis. In those 10 minutes my BP went up 50 points and left me with a pounding headache for 30 minutes.
Hayden and Applebaum were good where as Levien guy - true to form - was at his British snobbish best. When Zakaria was introducing him, this guy's eyebrows went up a notch. He was not even the least bit graceful and FZ did not give him much time either. May be Zakaria rubbed him the wrong way on some previous occasion. I watched GPS after a long hiatus, which unfortunately left such a bitter taste that I will not be returning anytime soon.

These people's credentials in Russia were good enough to allow immigration and naturalization in the US. Clearly US policy has supported such dubious characters' entry into the US as potential allies to stick a finger inside Russia's backside and move it around. But Islam has now stuck several fingers up Boston's backside and stretched it a bit.
Decades ago - when I was in the UK and wanted to visit the US for the first time, my SHQ got a visa and I as a hakim did not because Indian doctors were suspected of wanting to inevitably migrate to the US. So what did I do? I took a leaf out of an acquaintance's book and got a fake letter of invitation for a lecture from a friend of mine and got a business visa with a broad welcoming smile. The US loves lies and subterfuge. The US system is as cockeyed as any system gets.

Yes exactly. I repeat my request that I be pointed to any source on the Internet where I can learn how to make a pressure cooker bomb in a language I can understand (not Arabic). Piskology works in funny ways when you are faced with cognitive dissonance. We laugh at Pakis for blaming everyone else. Here I see the spectacle of US sources blaming internet and Russia in a simple case of home grown Islamic terrorism - American mujahideen. First they allow in Pakis as a hedge against Russia. Then they allow in bin Laden types. Finally they welcome Islamist Chechens.
More pisko now.
Russia has a problem with Chechens because some Islamist Chechens are a problem, not because Russians are monsters. However the US thinks Russians are monsters and Islamist Chechens are bunnies. It's called GIGO. Garbage In. Garbage Out.

Not sure how credible the "They took the recipe from Internet" is. Apparently they planned a week before the marathon? And could make a reliable pressure cooker bomb sent off by radio toy control without testing the contraption? Somehow find this hard to believe.
Somebody taught those Jihadis how to make it or they made it and tested it and have been doing this for a long time. I will willing to bet that either they attended a Jihadi crash course in Russia/Dagestan/Pakistan whatever or someone traveled to massa and gave them hands on coaching.

Awwwwww.. poor things. See? There you have it. It's poverty that causes extremism. Give them money
But over the past four years, even as members of their extended family found their piece of the American dream, the Cambridge Tsarnaevs’ experience in their new land curdled. Money grew scarce, and the family went on welfare. Zubeidat was accused of stealing from a department store. Anzor’s business, never prosperous, faded.

Nope. Not Russia /Dagestan/Chechnya. The Russians would have been keeping an eagle eye on him when he was there, especially after they warned the FBI and CIA. They would have suspicions that this guy was a US agent , after he was cleared after their warnings and he visited Dagestan.
The only places where they got their training was a) Pakistan or b) USA. If Paki land, usual suspects, if USA, then they most probably WERE US agents and the agency they were working for has been covering it's backside very well until now.
If there is no history of travel to Pakiland (if those guys were US agents that info would be hidden as well), then b) is a higher probability .
