1. Staff discovered a firearm in a student’s backpack after noticing the backpack was abnormally heavy at Early Childhood Learning, 5800 W. 149th Street. The 3-year-old student is in a severely handicapped program at the day care, and the backpack was kept in the office until police arrived.

man claims self defense. says he saw the other guy pull a gun, so he shot first in defense.

oh while this can happen anywhere in usa, happens a lot in florida. recall the zimmerman shooting and then the retd police shooting a guy over texting in movie theater...

I am trying to understand what racial profiling means in this particular case:
Does it mean that if a black person is found in a store/shop, then the police will arrest him or search him? That black person could be working in that shop or may be a customer, but regardless he will be frisked or arrested, right?

Being black means you will be arrested after being (potentially violently) frisked. Usually if the cop is racist and wants to abuse you he will turn you against the camera of the cop car (i.e your back would be facing the car-dashcamera) and will carefully hit you right in middle of your sternum.

That hit will cause you to end up moving your hands to your core in reflex, and thereby towards the cop, even if your hands are kept visible to the cop at all times (showing him that you are not a threat). The cop can then charge you with aggravated assault, or can "defend" himself by shooting you dead or by brutally beating you to a pulp. The dashcam footage will show you moving your hands in a threatening way towards the cop, thus justifying the actions of the cop.

90% of the prime-time shows that are an hour-long are all focused in above direction.

When I first saw the movie 'No country for old men', I assumed it was a movie in jest by Cohen Brothers (which their movies actually are).

The 'good news' in the US and Canada (or any predominantly white society) is that you can NEVER escape the caste of color. In India you can maybe change your last name move town and you can claim to be a different caste, i.e. there are ways to escape it.

But when your caste is encoded in your skin color, there is no way, no time that you will ever escape it. It is a permanent caste system and it will remain so, long after caste system in its current form has died a natural death in India. In this respect there is very little difference between predominantly white nations and the Bakis, it stems from the same root: Hatred, which is predominantly rooted in looking at everyone as a potential threat. Contrast that to Caste (as it used to be) in India: It existed as an inward defence mechanism to keep ones subidentity intact while peacefully interacting with the larger society. Exceptions exists, in both cases but are rare.

Animal protein deprived Indian men rape because they are constrained to a vegetarian diet and a caste ridden society, while such reluctant sexual liaisons in the protein abundant post racial USA are attributable to the rape gene. Clearly, it is a phenomena that can be traced to the earliest ancestors of humans trudging out of Africa.

Hmm yes - I should have guessed. This study comes from an American university - one among world leaders like Johns Hopkins, where I am told that research has gone well beyond cloning of genes to cloning of research. When research is cloned, there is no need for the original research to exist any more and can be destroyed or ignored, just like original dark vegetarian rapist genes need to be cleared out leaving protein rich rapist genes.

Last week, a group led by Shoukhrat Mitalipov of the Oregon National Primate Research Center in Beaverton reported in Cell that it had used cloning to make personalized human embryonic stem cells (hESCs). The news was widely covered (including in Science) that Woo-Suk Hwang and his team claimed to have created individually tailored hESCs by cloning skin cells. That report, in Science, soon unraveled when it was found that the team had manipulated images and faked their data.

After last week's report, a commenter on PubPeer, a site dedicated to postpublication peer review, alleged several instances of "image reuse" in the Cell paper. The commenter also noted that "in the paper, it is recorded that the journal Cell accepted this paper just 4 days after submission."

BTW, every extreme position that every imperial power has taken (in this case slavery, in Briturdias case: Colonialism and in Japan's case for ex: Japanese Imperialism). There is a large part of the economy that survived their imperial collapse and now fund this 'industry of apologists'. This 'industry of apologists' is an ecosystem with a hierarchy (for all practical purposes a caste system): Where anyone who finds 'positive' about imperial excesses are rewarded heavily. The educationalists are on the top of the food chain, followed by the media folks, followed by evangelists.

There is another layer of this hierarchy which resembles a caste system. An apologist belonging to the same ethnic identity as that of the imperialist he is in a higher caste than the apologist belonging to the ethnic identity of the oppressed. The key thing is, the oppressor apologist has deep network ties into powerful structures of the imperialist while the oppressed apologist does not, and has to try hard (be a MUTU) to get those same privileges.

In essence an oppressor apologist can take more risk in his career, can in fact call the imperialist for what he is, a mass murderer, and still survive through his career. The oppressed apologist will be shunned the moment he calls the imperialist out. The moment he steps out of the apologist line he will lose those carefully cultivated networks.

Paraphrasing the words of Frantz Fanon: Imperialism divides the world into two without giving those involved a choice to switch sides. Those who share the ethnic identity of the oppressed will always be separate from those who share the ethnic identity of the oppressor, no matter what one does. Its as permanent a caste system as one can get.
