A world order - as the name implies - deals with all 193 nations in the world. Not focused on any one nation or even one region. The reach of thought (and "power") has to be global.kit wrote: Japan has gamed the scenario ., the G2 is no longer their view but G3., a multipolar world is the only way to contain China., hence the QUAD and the need for a stable government in India, an IN powerful enough is one of their interests., but more importantly the political will to enforce the himalayan borders / even considering a free Tibet would force China to spread out into multiple fronts ( at the same time) .
India is key to the new Asian and hence the new world order and the only counter weight to China

The realist in me says world order is who in the world orders whom. It's a pecking order, a hierarchy.NRao wrote:A world order - as the name implies - deals with all 193 nations in the world. Can someone with adequate knowledge of Ukrainian kindly tell is what they are teaching?

I'm not an expert to comment on how true or false the content is, but the fact that it's being taught to barely teenagers in such terms is quite strange to put it mildly.
US will not allow this. If Zelensky sues for peace, to preserve Ukrainian lives, things will not end well for him and his family. There are plenty of oligarchs and generals eager to step in if Zelensky fails in his duty to fight to the last Ukrainian.sanjaykumar wrote:There is no shame in surrendering in an unwinnable war and preserving lives.
1. Kissinger has long said Ukraine should have some form of neutrality in order to be a "bridge between Russia and Europe"; at Davos he said that, while "that opportunity ... does not now exist in the same manner, ... it could still be conceived as an ultimate objective."
2. Soros said at Davos that Russia's invasion of Ukraine "may have been the beginning of the Third World War and our civilization may not survive it."
3. Kissinger said at Davos that "negotiations on peace need to begin in the next two months," implying that otherwise the war could spill over into other parts of Europe; "ideally," he said, "the dividing line [between Ukraine and Russia] should return the status quo ante," i.e. with Moscow exercising de facto control over Crimea and parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
4. Kissinger cautioned against turning the war into a battle “against Russia itself,” rather than for “the freedom of Ukraine,” because “Russia has been, for 400 years, an essential part of Europe,” critical to maintaining a “European balance.” The West’s policies, he said, “should keep in mind the restoration of this role is important to develop, so that Russia is not driven into a permanent alliance with China.”
5. Soros said that “we must mobilize all our resources to bring the war to an early end. The best and perhaps only way to preserve our civilization is to defeat Putin as soon as possible.”

The International Energy Agency has warned that Europe must prepare immediately for the complete severance of Russian gas exports this winter, urging governments to take measures to cut demand and keep ageing nuclear power stations open.

Do not think so. They will increase efficiency of boiler and heaters. Solar energy is really making life easier. Modern insulation is so effective that Govts have reduced the financial help . It is common in Belgium to earn money by selling extra electricity to state. Heavy industry will suffer.g.sarkar wrote:Chanakyaaji, coal briquettes were used extensively in the good old days, not wood. The price of wood is high now a days. It's breaking India forces.
Gautam Saar you are absolutely right. In Belgium govt is so much involved in cutting the energy need per house hold that it is mind-boggling.g.sarkar wrote:R Singhji,
The city that I lived in, West Berlin had sun shine for just 100 days on average per year. Often on sunny days, the sunlight was weak. It was even less in Manchester where I lived in for about 2 years. I do not know if this is good enough for ample solar power. Most of Industrial Europe was dark and gloomy, specially winters were terrible that caused depression in the inhabitants. We in India are far better off with so much of sunshine everywhere. Our daylight hours in winter are not that small. Scullery maids is a good idea.

Gobar gas is fitting. Brilliant idea Saar.ks_sachin wrote:^^G Sarkar,
can we supply them gobar gas?
IIRC there was this guy who managed to capture CH4 from cow shed top, compress it and used the gas to cook food.g.sarkar wrote:Actually methane is not produced by gobar gas plants. It is produced by the digestive system of cattle and normally escapes into the atmosphere. Gobar gas plants just burns methane after it is caught in a digester, where gobar is placed. Fertilizer is also produced as a biproduct. It was not very successful in India, but it did take off in China, if I remember correctly.
