@amitmalviya
So now it becomes clear that Mamata Banerjee’s carefully staged drama in Kolkata was not an isolated outburst, but a calculated distraction, designed to divert attention from what Trinamool’s cadre is attempting across the rest of West Bengal.
While the spotlight was firmly fixed on Kolkata, disturbing reports emerged from Bardhaman. At the University Institute of Technology (UIT), an attempt was made by a TMC goon to scale the compound walls and gain access to a strong room housing EVMs. The incident was flagged by BJP candidate Sanjay Das, raising serious concerns about the intent behind such actions. This is no ordinary facility, it contains EVMs from five crucial Assembly Constituencies: Bardhaman Uttar, Bardhaman Dakshin, Galsi, Ausgram, and Bhatar.
Seen together, these developments paint a telling picture. The theatrics in Kolkata and the attempts elsewhere are not disconnected, they are part of the same pattern. A pattern driven by anxiety, by the creeping realisation that the ground has shifted.
This is what desperation looks like. The Trinamool knows the writing is on the wall. The people of West Bengal have already spoken, 4th May will simply mark the formal end of their tenure.

BBC, Skynews and every other news channel making 2 minutes docu-news about WB elections, Muslims, disenfranchisement and rise of anti Muslim views yada yada
Probably exit polls are going to come true
BIF’s and their akas are preparing for the usual Randi-Rona
The modus operandi is to label BEEDIS as Muslim Bengalis
In 2021, more than 58 deaths were recorded with over 300 cases of political violence recorded across eight phases of assembly elections.
In the 2023 Panchayat elections, 50 people were killed on polling day and following day
In 2026, 2,400 companies or 2.4 lakh personnel of the CAPF were deployed across the state, which is more than twicele the deployment in the 2021 assembly elections

BJP must be countering such tactics on the spot with counter tactics.
One BJP wallah will go to vote. Press Kamal button. Perfume smell on the finger. Rub it on all the other buttons as the 5 or 10 second beep is happening. Come out and watch the sniffer dogs go insane as everyone coming out smells perfume including their own party cadre. https://x.com/i/status/2051013927161765960

As of 10 am IST May 4, 2026 Per IndiaTV live BJP is leading in Bengal 166 vs 122 for TMC and DMK is taking a tanking in TN. Vijay TVK is winning in Chennai area. ADMK is also leading elsewhere. Assam is fully BJP. Keralam UDF is leading.
TVK in TN. Means TN will be a new headache after WB is treated. Unfortunately Bano is still leading in her constituency… head of snake might survive ?

A Christian CM may be better option than a downright anti-Hindu, anti-India CM. Post round 2, Both Stalin and his idiot progeny are trailing. If (if that is) trend continues - Dynasty and Dravidianism are dead in TN.

Can't believe that idiot is winning in Tamil Nadu. But I'll take the BJP wins elsewhere, especially West Bengal.
TN has been growing at more than 10% for the last two years, one of the highest for a large state and going by the exit polls, I thought people were rewarding DMK.

Vijay is not Christian in traditional sense. And I agree better than DMK.

TN will be alliance govt. TVK don't have numbers to rule alone. So they have to join hands with NDA or DMK.

BJP will be crossing the 180 seats in WB and Assam 98. Will Himanata wrest 2 more and score century? Kerala BJP may open seat with 1 and reaching second in many seats. Puducherry NDA Sweep.
Overall this election is a great result for the nation. Rajya Sabha will also see more power to the NDA.

It has already been done in Rest of India Via Kejriwal, TMC Mamata getting rid of CPI(M), TN is just following the Template and is 5-15 years behind the nation trend.

TVK is 109, INC 5, IUML 1, DMDK 1, CPI 2, VCK 1, CPIM 1, Vijay + DMK Allies 119. TVK will most probably form the Government with DMK allies. Both MKS, his Son US and EPS should step down from leadership positions.
2029 LS will be Vijay VS Annamalai

What is the template? Become a movie star and then try your luck in politics? Kejriwal template is a bit different IMO.

TVK can claim the govt as a largest single party. They can work out support for legislation if need be. I don't know if BJP as the clout to form an alliance with DMK and create an alternative coalition against TVK. Vijay vs Annamalai is not going to happen with the current BJP lot in TN.

Its not that simple in the South that a movie star and become CM.
Kamal Hassan failed, Praja Rajyam of Chiranjeevi or Kumar Bangarappa all failed.
It takes a special connect.
A social films and leader of down trodden poor man against rich and powerful aka Look at all MGR films
Or a Mythological role aka ask anyone in south india a Lord Krishna face is NTR's
The exceptions were Rajkumar from Karnataka or Rajnikanth who did not enter politics even though they had a huge connect!!
And the only lady : Amma, had a special connect . She could identify with the poor and yet could hold her own with the yuppy english speaking crowd!!
In that respect she was unique

This is more a TN thing. They wanted to get rid of DMK and wanted a fresh face other than ADMK. So Joseph Vijay came at the right time to capture power. BJP need to bring back Annamalai and give him free hand. Let him grow the party for next decade.

The son of M. K. Stalin, CM of Tamil Nadu.
He insulted Sanatan Dharma
He called Sanatan Dharma dengue and malaria.
He made fun of the faith of Hindus.
Today, his party DMK is losing badly in elections.
Hindus have taken revenge for the insult of Sanatan.
Those who insult Sanatan Dharma should be taught a lesson like this

In Keralam, BJP is assured to win the Nemam seat by Rajeev Chandrashekaar. The intersting aspect is that the party is leading in another seat by a margin of 7 or 8 votes. There are 3 more such seats in which they is neck and neck contest. May be end up with 2 seats. 1 is assured.

In TN, K.A.Sengottaiyan (Former ADMK Minister and 9 times MLA/Former CM Jayalalitha's political strategist), John Arogyasamy (Vijayakant's Polital strategist) and Aadhav Arjun (Former DMK's money bag Lottery Martin's son) have made the political strategy to actor Vijay and have converted the huge anti-incumbuncy to unbelievable victory. Lottery Martin's family still have their control in TN Politics, with his wife LimaRose Martin also winning a seat through ADMK. Actor Vijay's party actually contested against 35 party coalition (20+ party in DMK coalition and 15 party in NDA coalition) and made this victory. After this election, atleast 30 parties will be out in TN. Almost all the urbanised area votes have gone to Vijay's party and shows 80+% of TN is urbanised and their aspirations are totally different from the cheap freebies offered by these Dravidian parties and cash for vote.A new form of social security along with corruption-free governance is the expectation, let's see how this turns out.

The elections in tn and subsequent results have been most illuminating. New timers coming in and going straight to the top, pawan kalyan is in the government, almost at the top but not quite, the last one would have to be kejriwal and he had a long awaited gestation with the iac movement.
Was this result anticipated by TN brfites? Seems to be quite a bit of groundswell for this to have happened silently, as TVK is only 1 party, DMk and AIADMK were in an alliance with 10+ parties. Only 1 exit poll called for TVK.
As a question, what happens to pipsqueak parties like vaiko and others?
