Details of SIT Report on Gaurav Gogoi's Pak link- step by step.
This episode revolves around three key individuals:
• Gaurav Gogoi
• Elizabeth Gogoi, wife of Gaurav Gogoi
• Ali Tauqeer Sheikh, Pakistani national and Elizabeth’s employer
Who is Ali Tauqeer Sheikh?
Ali Tauqeer Sheikh is not an ordinary individual. He is closely associated with the Pakistan High Commission and has deep links with Pakistan’s Interior Ministry, a ministry long known for its proximity to the ISI. He heads a Pakistani NGO called LEAD Pakistan.
Elizabeth Gogoi and LEAD Pakistan
On 18 March 2011, Elizabeth Gogoi was appointed by Ali Tauqeer Sheikh at LEAD Pakistan.
Just three days later, on 22 March 2011, she was selected for LEAD’s India office.
First red flag:
Despite being appointed for LEAD India in March 2011, Elizabeth actually joined the India office only on 21 April 2012.
A gap of more than one year.
Why was there such a long delay between appointment and joining? What exactly was happening during this period?
SIT revelations raise serious concerns
During the SIT investigation, Elizabeth’s India-side supervisor Bhavna Luthra stated that:
• She did not interview Elizabeth
• She did not appoint her
• Elizabeth was recommended directly by LEAD Pakistan
More alarming details emerged:
• Elizabeth’s salary was paid from Pakistan
• Direct transfers were made from a Pakistani account to her account
• The money was immediately routed into an Indian account
Why was an employee of LEAD India being paid from Pakistan?
Data leak allegations
Another grave allegation surfaced during the probe:
Elizabeth allegedly sent a 50-page document directly to Ali Tauqeer Sheikh in Pakistan, without informing her Indian reporting authority.
Why would internal documents be sent directly to Pakistan?
Suspicious travel patterns
Ali Tauqeer Sheikh and Elizabeth Gogoi reportedly:
• Travelled from Pakistan to India on the same dates
• Stayed at the same hotel
• Did this not once, but three times
Coincidence or coordination?
The Gaurav Gogoi angle
Gaurav Gogoi himself visited Pakistan multiple times.
In one instance:
• Permission was granted only for Lahore
• Only for 4 days
Yet the trip was extended to 10 days, and included Islamabad and Karachi.
Such itinerary changes are usually approved only for senior officials.
At that time, Gaurav Gogoi was not even an MP.
Why was his travel permission altered so dramatically?
This happened just months before he became an MP.
Post-MP conduct raises further questions
After entering Parliament, Gaurav Gogoi repeatedly raised questions on sensitive issues, including:
• Army capabilities
• Defence-related matters
Why such sustained interest in strategic and classified subjects?
These are not conclusions.
These are questions arising from documented timelines, travel records, and SIT findings.
India deserves clear answers. #PakAgentGaurav is real?
