ABVP leader Vishal (19), who was hacked by a bike-mounted gang of Islamists in front of Christian College on Monday morning, succumbed to the injuries at about 3.00 am Tuesday. In protest, the ABVP struck studies across the State on Tuesday and the BJP observed a hartal in Alappuzha district.
Doctors said Vishal, a final year BSc (Zoology) student at the NSS College, Konni in Pathanamthitta district and a resident of Mulakkuzha, Chengannur, was brought to the Medical College Hospital, Kottayam with damaged vertebrae and injured duodenum and pancreas and with very low blood pressure. Funeral will take place on Wednesday.
Anyone remember the brutality on dogs in Kerala by sword wielding bike riding seculars? Their efforts are coming to fruition.
Communal media also reported a similar earlier peacekeeping by the seculars:
An ABVP worker from Kannur on Wednesday succumbed to the stab injuries he suffered in a brutal attack by activists of the Campus Front of India, the students’ wing of Islamist organization Popular Front of India. The BJP called for a dawn-to-dusk shutdown in Kannur on Thursday in protest against the killing.
Sachin Gopal (20), son of Manikathil Gopalan, Kottali, Kannur, who was brutally attacked by the Islamists at Pallikkunnu in Kannur on July 6, succumbed to the stab injuries on Wednesday night at a hospital in Mangalore where he had been undergoing treatment.
What’s common to LeT, JuD, Yasin Malik, and Hafiz Saeed? All are terrorists who’ve vowed the destruction of India and have at various points, taken violent steps to make this intention clear. What else is common to LeT, JuD, Yasin Malik, and Hafiz Saeed? All of ‘em terrorists have mourned the execution of the homegrown traitor cum terror mastermind, Afzal Guru.
Guess who all else share the aforementioned commonality?
Anand Patwardhan—One of the early scavengers of the Gujarat riots, he washed India’s dirty linen in the US and elsewhere in the world and became famous and wealthy.
Angana Chatterji—But of course. With a Godfather like Fai, her support for anybody who wages war against India is both guaranteed and obvious.
Arundhati Roy—Also known as Genocide Suzie. Enough said.
Asghar Ali Engineer—That this chronicler of communal riots in India has consistently failed to notice even one dead Hindu in a communal riot should support Afzal Guru is again unsurprising.
Binayak Sen—The kindly doctor who tends to the bloodthirsty Maoists who’ve declared war against the Indian state.
D.N. Jha—He who finds a place in Arun Shourie’s list of Eminent Historians.
Farzana Versey—Sigh.
Harsh Mander—THE CEO of the Gujarat Riots Cottage Industry naturally doing his bit to further that vile hate-India project.
Irfan Habib—See the entry under “D.N. Jha.”
Omar Abdullah—The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir playing politics as usual.
Prashant Bhushan—He who also led that fake crusade against corruption conveniently blinding his eyes to the greater threat of Islamic terrorism and the even greater threat of homegrown support for it.
Siddharth Varadarajan—If his ex-boss and predecessor was nicknamed Mount Road Marx, this guy has ripped the last strand of the façade of decency that remained in the Hindu under N.Ram.
Vinod K Jose—He who wrote that putrid piece profiling Narendra Modi as Hitler in the Caravan magazine.
Harsh Mander
Aakar Patel
Shivam Vij—Back in the early days of blogging, a certain blogger once said that if there’s a single excuse to justify ragging, it is Shivam Vij. I tend to agree with that blogger.
Nandita Das
S. Anand—Full name, Stephen Anand. Used to be with Outlook. Also used to be a regular poison-spewer at that hate site called Dalitstan.org.
Dilip D’Souza—A highly polished version of of S. Anand. Check my blog archives for a fuller profile.
Mahashweta Devi
Aruna Roy—Fellow traveller of Harsh Mander. Also his colleague at the NAC.
Achin Vainik—Old coot who did much to derail the discourse during the Ram Janmabhoomi days.
Important thing about these terrorist supporters -
And notice that all of ‘em signatories are Indians. Notice also that several of them occupy extremely powerful positions in Government and in other spheres of public life. And they have, over the years, steadily dropped their pretence of being secular or fair-minded or whatever other nonsense, and have revealed themselves for what they are: Nth grade opportunists who wouldn’t think twice before betraying the nation.
What’s even worse is that many of them have been exposed—Binayak Sen, Harsh Mander, Angana Chatterji, and Arundhati Roy figure prominently in this list—doing far worse things than merely signing mercy petitions or shedding tears for dead terrorists. The charlatanism of Fai’s Minions is a singular case in point. Yet nothing has happened to them, a fact that gives a Genocide Suzie the gumption to pen yet another toxic piece damning Indian democracy for hanging a terrorist. That the piece appeared in the Siddharth Varadajan-led The Hindu is entirely fitting. If The Hindu was rumoured to be India’s People’s Daily under N.Ram, one wonders whether it’s a limb of Pakistan’s official propaganda machine under Sid Varadarajan. You’ll know it isn’t an exaggeration the moment you read how this Mephistophelean paper elevated Afzal Guru to Mahatmahood courtesy a deviant named Gaurav Vivek Bhatnagar. More importantly, let’s not forget that Siddharth Varadarajan was on the esteemed-guest list of Ghulam Nabi Fai.
why these terrorirts supporters are dangerous compared to real terrorists like kasab or afzal guru-
Which makes these terrorist-mercy-seeking perverts more dangerous than the terrorists themselves. We at least have some basic mechanisms to monitor the plans and activities of terrorists. But what mechanism do we put in place to check the hundreds of Harsh Manders, Angana Chatterjis and the rest who it appears are beyond the reach of law? What can our law enforcement agencies do when a Harsh Mander takes his orders directly from and enjoys the complete confidence of the Super Prime Minister herself? More importantly, why isn’t anyone in the Government or Opposition, why hasn’t anyone prominent in public life woken up to the fact that there’s something seriously wrong when these luminaries join terror outfits like LeT and JuD in spirit in mourning the death of Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kasab? Does this also mean that these bleeding hearts will echo the Jihadist war cry of LeT and JuD who have sworn to avenge Kasab’s death? Doesn’t the fact that these Jihadi agencies mourn Afzal Guru’s death prove that they consider him one of their own? Equally, doesn’t this same fact prove that Arundhati Roy et al’s disgusting book (The strange case of the Parliament attack) and similar articles defending Afzal Guru and castigating the Indian state are packs of lies?
How did we get to this mad, sad, and dangerous state of affairs? I leave the answer to your intelligence. But what’s clear is this, said so well by the redoubtable Barbar Indian:
[The Fai Minions’] investigation might provide vital clues as to whether the Congress establishment has remained merely corrupt and exploitative or has transitioned into the dark zone of open subversion.
what does the congis do-
The Congress establishment may directly not engage in subversion against the very nation whose sovereignty, unity, and integrity it has sworn to uphold, preserve and protect. However, it does two very disturbing things. One, it allows patently anti-national people to wield enormous power almost with impunity. Two, when they are caught acting with impunity, it turns a blind eye. Unpunished evil is an encouragement to perpetuate greater evil.
History repeating itself-
The historical parallels are striking. Every minister and every general who betrayed a powerful king did his bit to enable the conquest of India piece by piece until the whole was swallowed.

Nagaland Home Minister Imkong L Imchen was on Monday arrested for allegedly carrying Rs 1.10 crore cash and arms and ammunition in a vehicle near Wokha district, official sources have said.
The incident emerged just two days after an Election Commission surveillance team had seized Rs one crore cash from a chopper allegedly being used by a candidate of the ruling Nagaland People’s Front.
Imchen was going to his constituency Koridanga in Mokokchung district from Kohima when Assam Rifles personnel conducting search of vehicles near Wokha district found the arms and ammunition, liquor and cash, the sources said.
The Assam Rifles personnel handed him over to the district administration and police. Imchen is the Nagaland People’s Front (NPF) candidate from Koridanga and is also the NPF campaign in-charge of Mokokchung district.
The NPF has put up 10-candidates in Mokokchung district.
On February 16, an Election Commission surveillance team had seized Rs one crore cash from a helicopter allegedly being used by a candidate of the Nagaland Peoples Front (NPF) in Nagaland.
A team of EC-appointed observers seized the cash from a chopper, which was allegedly hired to ferry Nyemli Phom, who is contesting the Assembly polls from a constituency in Longleng district.

Add MK the DMK leader to the list of Afzal Guru fans. He wants death penalty abolished in India.
Rascal wants to save the LTTE terrorists. He knows the whll of time will slowly move to that.
As I said the LTTE terrorists wont be hanged before 2014 elections.

I have the spidey sense that this is bigger than it seems.
Details so far:
Some copin Delhi Police was putting people in the watch list and getting their call records from the cellphone companies for a fee. Too bad has monitored Jaitley's phone and was caught by the cell phone company. Now how many other people were monitored and by whom? How many other constables are doing the same?
And the audacity of a constable in buying a Rs 50 lakh flat in Delhi! So how did he get that kind of money?
How do we know that cell phones of govt officials were not on the watch list for money and the data passed on to foreign govts?
So Delhi Bullice are not only venal but corrupt to the core.
NEW DELHI: Investigation into the alleged effort to access the log of BJP leader Arun Jaitley's mobile phone has revealed a well-organized illicit operation by private individuals to eavesdrop on influential figures as part of what Delhi Police suspects to be a conspiracy to snoop on top political leaders.
Delhi Police on Monday arrested a private detective Neeraj Ram, a resident of Shahdara, for paying bribes to police personnel for securing CDRs - call details records -- of at least 15 prominent figures, besides Jaitley over the past six months.
In a related development, police, while seeking remand for Arvind Dabas, the constable who has been arrested for illegally accessing Jaitley's CDRs, told a city court, "There is a higher level conspiracy involved in the matter and security of the country is being risked. We have to unearth the larger conspiracy of why call details records of famous politicians were being accessed by them."
The cops are checking details of all "official requests" made over the past six months to service providers like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea for details of CDRs to detect who all could have been targeted like Jaitley. Delhi Police on Monday sent a detailed report to the home ministry on the surveillance plot.
Sources familiar with details of the investigation said the detective had disclosed that he was paid handsomely by those who were interested in having details of who all Jaitley and other victims of the illegal surveillance ring were in contact with.
Police are trying to identify those who engaged Neeraj's services. "Several freelance private detectives usually work for private companies and corporates, so we are trying to find out if any corporate was taking out CDRs of politicians and bureaucrats," a senior Delhi Police official said.
Neeraj was arrested on the basis of the statement of Arvind Dabas, the Delhi Police constable who was arrested for seeking the CDRs of Jaitley's mobile phone under the pretext that the details were needed for official purposes. Police sources said that two were friends.
The detective and his constable accomplice were helped by a critical lapse on the part of officials who are authorized to seek from telecom companies CDRs of persons who may be on the 'watch list' of police and intelligence agencies. Contrary to the requirement of changing the passwords of official email IDs for corresponding with service providers, police officials concerned persisted with just one password.
The resultant vulnerability was exploited by Dabas and Neeraj for the latter's paymasters. As reported earlier, Dabas, who was until last year with the Operations Cell -- a wing of city police which tracks criminals real time -- had at least thrice secured the CDRs of Jaitley's phone as he put his number on the list of persons who were under genuine official surveillance.
He was caught only in his fourth effort; and that too when he committed the mistake of mentioning the name of the leader of opposition against his number. He compounded matters for himself by putting the number of Jaitley's son also on the list along with one belonging to BJP: a bungle that alerted the service provider leading to investigation by startled Delhi Police officials and Dabas' arrest.
Dabas was sent to two days police custody by the court. Neeraj was produced before a magistrate on Sunday by Special Cell and they have now been brought face to face to sift through the alibis and inconsistencies.
"They have known each other for a long time as they stay close and meet regularly. Dabas was sending emails to private telecom companies as directed by Ram for money," said a source.
Police sources said Dabas was not cooperating in the investigations, and dismissed his claim that he tried to take out Jaitley's CDR on his own. The jailed constable has said that as he had made a Rs 50 lakh property deal with two Uttarakhand-based persons who had bragged to him about their links to Jaitely. "I was just verifying their claim to ensure the safety of my investment," Dabas told interrogators.
So if Dabas made the investment and wanted to check the property dealers by snooping on their contacts with Jaitley, why did he bring in Neeraj Ram? It was not Neeraj Ram that wanted to check this time but the earlier three times. So the guy was running his own monitoring. Also what was the reason for monitoring Jaitley three other times?
And how did a constable get Rs 50 lakhs to invest in a property?

the weakness of the system is obvious. when the only qualification is servitude to the "system" and the dynasty, this is the kind of detritus that will get hired into the "security state". when the objective of the state-security apparatus is "protect dynasty, and do anything as long as you do that", it is inevitable that the entire regime is filled with servile bootlickers. Delhi Police, being the guard dog of 2G and the "establishment" would perhaps represent the extreme version of the symptoms of decay.
this is a lesson for us. making a small coterie the focus of all State Power leads to obvious and gaping weaknesses which can easily be exploited by all and sundry.

There is a PIL in the SC about asking for handing over Afzal Guru's body to his family.
My own view is that he had messed up any arguments in favour by writing that letter to his wife just before his hanging (this was very prominently displayed by undi-tv). There was no sense of remorse and whatever "his status in the eyes of Allah" or something. This alone will make it difficult for the court to allow handing over as the body will be promptly put to use for inspiration of future jehadis.

This is proof that minorities are discriminated in this country.
A 30-yearold woman was allegedly gang-raped by four persons, who also made a video clip of her, at Sikri village under Bhopa police station in the district, police said on Monday.
The victim alleged in her complaint that the accused entered her house when her husband was not there and raped
her at gun point on Sunday evening, said Kalpana Saxena, SP Crime. The four accused, identified as Naushad, Pravaiz, Kamal Hasan and Nazar, were absconding, she said.

Note how an episode of chas for tapping is being termed by PTIable news agency.
More importantly who were the 15 people being monitored by this cash for tapping and how widespread is the problem?
New Delhi: Three private detectives, arrested for allegedly attempting to retrieve call detail records of BJP leader Arun Jaitley, were on Tuesday remanded in three days police custody by a Delhi court.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vidya Prakash allowed the Special Cell of Delhi Police to quiz in custody till February 22 Nitin, Anurag and Neeraj. Nitin and Anurag were arrested from Mukundpur in north west Delhi today, while Neeraj was nabbed yesterday.
{PTI makes these perpetrators sound cool with no last names. Almost like 3 Idiots! Very irresponsible reporting when the Leader of the Opposition is being monitored by private individuals with help of Delhi Police individuals. There is no outrage.}
Delhi Police constable Arvind Dabas was the first accused who was arrested in the case.
During the proceedings, police today sought their custody for five days saying they have to crack the "encrypted devices" used by the accused in which a large amount of data has been gathered over a period of two-three months.
Meanwhile, the court also directed the investigating officer to supply the copies of FIR to the counsel of accused and made clear that the contents be not leaked.
During the day, the counsel for Arvind Dabas said that the legal rights of his clients were being infringed due to non-supply of the FIR.
{What about legal rights of the people being monitored without a magistrate's order?}
"How am I supposed to pursue the legal remedies available to me if I am not ever supplied the copy of the FIR in a case against me? It is also a violation of my human rights," Naushad Ahmad Khan, counsel for Dabas, said.
The police custody of Dabas expires tomorrow.
Police later told the media that they were also probing a probable corporate angle to the case.
One of the accused Anurag was also arrested in the Amar Singh phone tapping case, they said, adding that other accused Neeraj used to run a background check on prospective brides and grooms.
Anurag, who had the access to sophisticated spying devices, used to solicit support of co-accused Nitin and Neeraj after getting clients, they said.

Religious structure torched
By Express News Service - SALEPUR 19th February 2013 10:36 AM
Tension ran high in Kazihat village under Salepur police limits following torching of a Hindu religious structure late on Sunday night.
According to reports, a local cultural organisation, Arya Sansrutika Parisad, had constructed a thatched roof room at Kazihat, a Muslim-dominated area under Jairampur gram panchayat in Nischintakoili block in 1985. Since then, members of the organisation were performing ‘Hara Parbati’ puja in the room during Durga Puja. Some miscreants set afire the room on Sunday night.
Following the incident, irate shopkeepers of Kazihat and adjacent Azad Bazaar on Monday staged a dharna on the spot demanding arrest of the culprits.
The agitators were pacified after Salepur Tehsildar Rudra Narayan Dash assured them to initiate stringent action against those involved and measures to reconstruct the room. Police personnel have been deployed to avoid any untoward incident in the locality.
“The local sarpanch had allegedly ordered for demolition of 12 shops in Kazihat recently. The shopkeepers who are yet to be rehabilitated despite assurances staged a road blockade at Kazihat on Saturday, demanding immediate rehabilitation. Their anger may be the cause behind the arson,” said Salepur IIC Biswajit Mohanty.
NEW DELHI: Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, who was hanged recently, may have painted a picture of himself as a man far removed from fundamentalism while talking to jail officials but in his conversations with Indian Mujahideen accused, he rooted for jihad and fidayeen attacks across the country.
According to reports, Guru had told jail officials in Tihar that he was not in favour of Kashmir's secession from India and actually wanted to rid the country of corruption. However, interrogation of an Indian Mujahideen accused lodged in Tihar has revealed that with him, Guru argued exactly the opposite.
IM operative Farooq alias Aftab Alam, who was recently arrested by National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the 13/7 Mumbai blasts, revealed during interrogation that Guru sympathized with the cause of Indian Mujahideen and lamented that Kashmir did not have enough "courageous" men to earn it "azaadi".
He argued that even if the Valley could produce 200 fidayeen who could fan across India and execute attacks, India would be forced to grant independence to Kashmir.
The utterances would come as bit of a surprise to those who knew Guru in his young days. Guru was known to be a man of softer virtues who in his youth loved ghazals and recited Mirza Ghalib's poetry. He even named his son after the renowned poet.
The revelation was made when Farooq asserted the importance of jihad during interrogation and digressed to talking about Guru and how he too supported the cause. "One does not know whether Guru had kept in touch with other Indian Mujahideen accused in Tihar but Farooq claims to have met him several times and had conversations with him," an official privy to his interrogation said.
During interrogation, Farooq, who was first arrested by Delhi Police in December 2011 from Bihar, said it was his duty to perform jihad and if he didn't, he would be condemned to hell. Refusing to cooperate in the investigation, he said if he ever came out, he would continue to explode bombs.
While arguing this, he happened to mention Guru who he said supported the Indian Mujahideen cause and expressed sadness at the fact that Kashmiris were not determined enough to get independence. "Farooq claims Guru said Kashmir needed to produce just 200 fidayeen who would execute attacks across the country and then India would have no choice but to grant Kashmir azadi," the official said.
Over a dozen Indian Mujahideen accused are languishing in Tihar after Delhi Police busted IM's India chief Yasin Bhatkal's Bihar module in 2011.

Some very interesting facts - have removed some paras which had details about Fai...
Nowhere in Harsh Mander’s impressive CVs found on the websites of various organisations, including Sonia Gandhi’s National Advisory Council of which he was a member till June 2012, and Wikipedia, is it mentioned that he is associated with the Justice Foundation Kashmir Centre UK, along with the ISI’s now-famous Syed Ghulam Nabi Fai.
The Justice Foundation Kashmir Centre was set up in London in January 2004 by Dr Ayub Thakur to seek ‘justice and peace for the oppressed people of the world, including the people of Jammu and Kashmir’. Informed sources believe it is a project of British intelligence to undermine India’s claim on Kashmir. The foundation received some money from the ISI when Fai was roped in as Director. Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, an academic who writes regularly for all major Pakistani newspapers, took over the reins after Ayub Thakur’s death in 2004.
As is well known, Ghulam Nabi Fai, an American citizen of Kashmiri origin, was arrested by the FBI in July 2011 on charges of concealing receipt of USD 3.5 million from Pakistan’s ISI to fund his illegal lobbying efforts to influence the US government on the Kashmir issue in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act. His arrest coincided with a sharp deterioration in US-Pak relations following the American stealth attack on Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad in May the same year.
....
Former IAS officer Harsh Mander shot to international fame when he publicly blamed the Gujarat Government and Chief Minister for the 2002 riots. Since then, he has positioned himself as a social activist, writer, and moral crusader of neglected causes. He heads the Aman Biradari trust which works for communal harmony and is a founding member of Shabnam Hashmi’s Act Now for Harmony and Democracy (ANHAD).
Although he has publicly supported the demand for removal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act from Jammu & Kashmir, Harsh Mander has never informed his Indian audience that he is a member of the Working Group of the Justice Foundation which operates as Pakistan’s propaganda vehicle on Kashmir.
The Foundation website gives a slanted history of the Kashmir ‘dispute’, such as, “It is rumoured that the Maharaja acceded to India in exchange for military assistance and the promise of a popular referendum”. The purpose, of course, is to undermine the unquestionable accession of the erstwhile Kingdom to India by Maharaja Hari Singh, though it is true that Jawaharlal Nehru and Louis Mountbatten played a role in muddying the waters.
As a member of the Working Group of the Justice Foundation, it follows that Harsh Mander, doyen of the Indian secularists and human rights activists, is actually serving the Pakistani cause advocated by the Foundation. Mander is listed as representing the Centre for Equity Studies, India, a body appointed by the Delhi Government as the nodal agency for managing residential homes for street children in allocated Government buildings, a mandate in which it failed completely.
In August 2012, a Delhi Police investigation found that three minor boys were sexually exploited in the Centre for Equity Studies’ home in Mehrauli and that the management had ignored the abuse despite being aware of it. Despite a direct warning from a former staff member of the home, neither the project in-charge nor Mander himself took steps to prevent the abuse of the boys or called the police.
In Britain, the media has questioned the association of MPs of both the Conservative and Labour parties with the Justice Foundation, which is alleged to be a front for Pakistani spies. In August 2011, there was a furore over MPs hosting a Justice Foundation conference in the House of Commons. It was attended by Baroness Warsi, co-chairman of the Conservative Party.
The British Press noted that Ghulam Nabi Fai, who had been arrested by the FBI the previous month for running an organisation called the Kashmiri American Council while acting as an agent of a foreign power, was a director of the Justice Foundation based in Bloomsbury, central London. American prosecutors then claimed that the three Kashmir Centres in Washington, London and Brussels were run on behalf of “elements of the Pakistani government, including Pakistan’s military intelligence service, the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency (ISI).”
The Foundation hosted Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s visit to Britain in 2010. The latter’s party, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, is believed to have links to the Taliban. Over the years, the Justice Foundation has organised several conferences on the Kashmir conflict with millions of dollars of covert funding, according to British media.
Another function of the Foundation was hosted by the Labour peer Baron Nazir Ahmed in the House of Lords in 2010. Moreover, Ahmed and two Conservative and Labour MPs accepted Foundation funding for a trip to Kashmir, including Occupied Kashmir. All three MPs later claimed ignorance of the Foundation’s links with the ISI; Ahmed even claimed that though he knew Ghulam Nabi Fai for many years, he did not know that Fai was a director of the Foundation!
Since Harsh Mander has been a member of the all-powerful National Advisory Council and would have enjoyed unprecedented access to the highest echelons of Government, and former Air Chief Marshall SP Tyagi was co-chair (with Pakistan General Jehangir Karamat, retd.) of a Track-II initiative in 2012 which favoured India withdrawing from the strategic Siachen Glacier, the Government of India must clarify its position on Jammu & Kashmir State without further ado. And if it is serious, it should sternly warn citizens against associating with individuals and agencies hostile to the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

So what is the response from the Afzal Guru's Rudalis to his exhorting IM to wage jihad on India?
I am totally confused, wasn't it supreme court which awarded death sentence to them? Then mercy refused by president, then what brings it back to supreme court?? Then why such consideration not in many other cases of hanging?? (Any vakeel, please help, and before me please help 'my lord' in supreme court.)

He was right in a way. Brits took away weapons from Hindus. But they could not (or did not) take away all weapons from muslims. Ones in homes were taken but those in madrasas and masjids remained largely hidden owing to british policy of not interefering with religion post 1857. There were are many hindu households and akhadas which possessed weapons, but on average it did not happen.
From 1920s muslims were allowed to rearm (rather, large section did so in spite of brits during khilafat movement which partly manifested in mopla riots of kerala). And there was no such pressure on Hindus from hindu side to rearm, we had khilafat and then Non-cooperation movement and then chauri-chaura and Mahatma abandonning the movement. WW1 was one excellent opportunity to rearm.

In Bengal the Hindu community is not politically organized and decades of Communist brainwashing has led to the belief that any Hindu organization is perforce communal, fundamentalist and reactionary. With the fall of the Communists opportunities have arisen for some kind of organization. Lets see how it pans out in the future.
Sandhya jain writing for niti central. Lots of information available as well as conjectures for what might be the end-game this time. IMO, all the border districts of WB save Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and Coochbehar may need to be written off to BD, looks like.

As for the reply it will be given when it is due.
They went to Spain, ruled it for centuries but got exterminated ruthlessly when the Xtians got back power.
They came to India, conquered large parts, converted a large number, got Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and made them Hindufrei.
We got a secular (anti Hindu) India where they still rule us by proxy.
Whatever you have to tell yourself as consolation...

[quote="Hari Seldon"]Riots erupt in Bengal
None of the Secularist media will ever report it. We know how the Media hunt Narendra Modi by linking him to riots. Now will they do the same to Mamata and all the Secularists in Bengal? Shame on the Secularist Media, who try to destroy all the Dharmic values and system with their stupidity and ignorance. Morons of the first kind.

Forgot Assam, where more than 100 people have died in RIots in the last 1 year. Not 1 picture of those riots or refugees.

Gandhi was perhaps talking about himself and Nehru. Patel, Subhash Bose, Bhagat Singh and Mangal Pandey were not cowards.
Well I don't know what Bhagat Singh's exact views on the "communal problem" were but Bose's ideas weren't very different from Gandhi & Nehru so far as the Islam question went, he was prepared to even go a step ahead of them in his concessions to Muslims (e.g. his proposal that Urdu in Roman script be the national language of India which he even implemented in the INA) so that they would "unite" with Hindus (which of course never came about as the Jihadist betrayals in the INA amply demonstrate).
Hindus can be very brave on many issues including criticizing "communal" Hindus (as Bose, Nehru, Gandhi & many others did), but all their bravery vanishes when it comes to the slightest criticism of Islam & Muslims.
The truly brave leaders/persons of note who proved prophetic on Islam & Muslims were Bipin Chandra Pal, Lala Lajpat Rai, Savarkar, Aurobindo, Sarat Chandra (the novelist), and Ambedkar.
