So what happens now? Russia and Syria will go after Idlib with a vengence. Will US continue to go after ISIS in raqqa with their chums - Turkey and SDF as they have been planning for a month now? Or will they take this opportunity to pivot and start fighting SAA? If they do, they will have officially negated Trump's major poll promise which is to work with whoever they need to work with - including Russians - to eliminate ISIS.

Looking that the destruction , It appears US might have informed the Russians not more than 10-15 mins before strike , Good Enough to get your personal into the bunker but not good enough to move all those asset like Fighter and Missile from the hangers
Gagan: How can you tell that it is a Su-24, not MiG-23?
Forebody/front fuselage looks too circular in cross-section to be a Su-24, hain? IMO these pics could equally well have come from when SAA recaptured some air base after Daesh had been around, or after the recent TOW attack on an airbase when some aircraft were shaheed. I still maintain that 59 SLCMs have gone missing from inventory. Maybe the booster stages were fired.

Su-22 is MiG-21 era, front spike intake/single engine. Type shot down by Raygun Reagan's F-14s over Libya's Gulf of Sidra back in 1982 or so, and it was old, old even then. MiG-23 likewise, even Indian AF has junked them, I believe.
Which means all the planes were near-junk and needed urgent replacement. So did the SLCMs - all 1970s vintage. Win-win, except for the dead and wounded. Maybe the 1-hr notice was to wheel them into the hailstorm bunkers. The other thing is - does the plane wreckage look like a 450kg explosive went off essential on them, inside a confined space? Well.. maybe/maybe not. UBC News & Conspiracy is ambiguous on this. It does look like they burned to the ground where they stood. Why didn't the forebody etc get blown 50 m out of the shelter I wonder.
Meanwhile I see that Haley is doing the Trump Negotiating Strategy - insisting on Regime Change in Syria. What next? DT visiting Syria to negotiate deal for new Trump Casino Damascus? I think DT is heading for swift Political Settlement of Syrian war - IOW, what the entire international bunch has been yakking about with no clue how to do it. Now the crazy seesaw "policy" begins to make sense. This is the only way they can ensure some fig-leaf for the Moderate Flee Sillian Almy: if the Idlib offensive proceeds to logical conclusion, they are out of Syria inside the next 2 weeks. By waiting for the last minute, they have the Flee Sillians by the ***** so that their Hearts&Minds will follow. Putin/Assad cannot count on any rational response from DC, so they have to tread carefully.
Da 'Zee understands the scope of opportunity presented by vast areas of demolished bldgs. So many Trump Towers and Malls! Plus, only way to survive at chess with Putin is to exhibit total irrationality and derail the logic train.
X Posted from the Islamism thread. ISIS has put up its hand .............
Mohammaden belief motivated group, ISIS aka IS aka Islamic State, bombs two churches used by fellow Abrahamics following the Coptic variant of Christism in Alexandria and Tanta in Egypt on the day Christist’s were celebrating the festival of Palm Sunday.
Head of the Coptic variant of Christism, who was present at the time of the Alexandria bombing, escapes unhurt:
TANTA, Egypt (AP) - Bombs tore through two Egyptian churches in different cities as worshippers were marking Palm Sunday, killing at least 37 people and wounding around 100 in an assault claimed by the Islamic State group.
In the first, attack, a bomb exploded at Saint George church in the Nile Delta city of Tanta, killing at least 26 people and wounding over 70, officials said.
Later, an explosion hit Saint Mark's Cathedral in the coastal city of Alexandria, the historic seat of Christendom in Egypt, killing at least 11 people and wounding 35 just after Pope Tawadros II finished services. His aides later told local media that he had escaped unharmed.
IS claimed the attacks via its Aamaq news agency, after having recently warned that it would step up attacks on Egypt's Christians. ……………..

The situation is much like Pakistan with its impotent civilian govts and their relationship to the PA/ISI.
Why did the US Deep State let Trump win the primaries and then the election in the first place?
Reason why I recommend a formal military alliance with China and Russia not that I like it but International order needs balance of power , Else US can attack and sanction any nations on any pretext as it seems fit and will enforce it among all
Trump Considering Sanctions Against Russia, Iran for Supporting Syria
US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley when asked to present proof that Syria is responsible for the attack says its Classified !
Attacking Sovereign nation based on intelligence which is classified more like Self Fulfilling Prophesy , Cant they share among the P-5 in US else whats the point having UN then ?

he doesn't know, he's just venting popular meme words.
what's really happening is that trump delagates everything to his top people.
they put an action plan together for him with top 3 risks outlined for each action proposed.
trumpster takes maybe 5 to 10 minutes max to read and ask a few questions then gives the go ahead to one of the proposals.
then its back to twitter or to the phone to see what's shakin' with one of the honnies or talk to one of his kids or in-laws to see how the bussiness is doing.
what's with the deep state babble?
