I am re-watching BR Chopda's Mahabharat. I missed the following when I watched it for the first time (a couple of decades ago).

Rukmini, Subhadra, and Draupadi - none of them are shown wearing a bindi before marriage. They start wearing a bindi only after marriage. It is very consistent - unmarried women not wearing a bindi.

It feels so weird considering Lenskart and the above.
