I am not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing given how many factions "rule" libya these days.
either these luminaries will be executed or give birth to a new visigothic offshoot of ISIS

Most of the Coptic victims of the Minya attack are children. The bus trip to the monastery of st. Samuel was for kids.

ISIS is really missing a trick by not taking over Jordan. Even Eyeranians may not go there, let along Russians.

Nothing can save jordan from the increasing threat of sinai isis and nato fed fsa .... i think its matter of time. Anyone wanting to visit places like petra or aqaba coast might as well go now with time running out.

Kurds have neither the units or the heavy eqpt to fight a mosul type battle. Arab units even weaker. Moreover kurds will need to vacate raqqa being a arab town.

So not surprising throwing bags of dollars for isis to vacate raqqa.

Speaking of ISIS in other countries... (RT.com)
Malaysian police arrests six Islamic State suspects

Malaysian authorities have arrested six local men for suspected involvement with the Islamic State militant group, police said on Saturday. Muslim-majority Malaysia has been on the watch for Islamic State-linked militants since an attack last year by the group in Jakarta, the capital of neighbouring Indonesia. Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar said in a statement that the six suspects were detained from separate raids in four states from May 23-26. One of the arrests involved two brothers - a religious school teacher and online businessman - under suspicion of helping the militant movement in Syria. The brothers are relatives of Muhammad Fudhail Omar. He is expected to take over the role of the former top Islamic State operative Muhammad Wanndy Mohamed Jedi who was on a US list of global militants until his death, Khalid said. Wanndy was the alleged mastermind behind a grenade attack on a Kuala Lumpur bar last June which injured eight people. It was the first and so far only Islamic State attack that caused casualties in Malaysia. (Reuters)

From al masdar article

The Iraqi Armed Forces will likely turn their attention to the strategic Al-Qa’im crossing in the Al-Anbar Governorate after today’s operations.

The Al-Qa’im crossing is the Islamic State’s last border point that links their forces in Iraq with those in Syria; if lost, they will be effectively surrounded from all sides.

Suleimani going onsite means iran is very serious about the shia land corridors

Next might see pmu ignore the tal afar island and turn south along border to al qaim and then with assads sign move toward deir azzor from.east

Hasekeh assyrian christian units have reinforced deir azzor recently. The garrison is holding out despite no fresh tanks shilkas or bmps for 3 years and losing many to isis fire

Tal afar a sunni turkoman town is kept for iraqi army to roll up nd off linits to pmu

The Shia crescent will not come to fruition.
Israel above all will not want that. Neither will Turkey, or Saudi. So all in all, it is a formidable coalition against the Shias. Iran has made an enemy of Israel which is a powerful adversary. Iran has underestimated the hostility that it receives/will receive from Sunnis and believes in the stupid idea of Muslim Ummah.
The sunnis have been smarter. They have made up with Israel to finish with Iran and Shia problem in Ummah first. That is what the Sunni NATO has come into existence for.

well years and years of saudi machinations could not destroy Iraq or Syria. Iran is more united (mostly shia with no significant sunni minority for others to use), a caspian sea link to CAR and Russia and Cheen and not dumb like the GCC in technical matters. its not going to be a pushover.

israel will not get directly involved with the sunni kabila, just provide weapons and technical support, that even NATO is doing . israel might have more humint in the region thats the value add.

in 6 months time the future will be more clear.

turkey will be controlled and managed by russia using carrot and stick approach. unlike israel or saudis, they have the PKK right under their chair and a border with their ancient friends the Armenians

ISIS will no doubt be given wink wink to launch all out assaults on deir azzor now.

acc to elijah magnier twitter, the iraqi PM himself and the joint shia-russi intel center in baghdad is behind PMU being given charge to control and clean the entire border tracts of iraq sweeping down from the north. this is much to the displeasure of the eagle.

next few days we will know if the pmu is actually moving south and co-ordinating with the YPGJ along the border...
