Aero India 2007 - Photo Thread
I know, but then the Canon EOS-400D has IS on its very pricey lens... I don't have the IS lenses, but will need to get after my experience with my 70-300mm telephotos.Harry wrote:I'm not too happy with the EOS-400D. Image stabilization is a must.
New pics added at aeroindia.org, including the LCH.
Picture quality on the EOS -400D is excellent however...
Otherwise get a tripod

Try Canon EOS30D. EOS 400D (or XTi as its known in USA) is too light and picture quality of 30D is much better (even though 400D has higher megapixel) After lot of trials I decided to spend $400 extra and buy 30D instead of 400D.AshokS wrote:I know, but then the Canon EOS-400D has IS on its very pricey lens... more likely to be the same mockup that was displayed at the previous Aero India show.krishnan wrote:Most likely one of the PV's, they were supposed to have one of them in static displayamar_g wrote:The Lca camo looks a bit inspired by the ltte camo...

Despite the build quality, the LCH mockup is shaping up in an interesting way and is reminiscent in many ways of the Kawasaki OH-1 Ninja observation helicopter. Interesting that the army isn't financing it.Jagan wrote:http://media.bharat-rakshak.com/aero/ma ... temId=2940
HAL LCH
IMO, since this will be the first time combat helicopter is being designed and built by HAL, they should have concurrent projects with two main focus areas:Amitabh wrote:Despite the build quality, the LCH mockup is shaping up in an interesting way and is reminiscent in many ways of the Kawasaki OH-1 Ninja observation helicopter. HAL LCH
(1) Focusing on aerodynamics, electronics, weapon integrations/trials, ECCM, engines --> For this, HAL can utilize a lot of its R&D (along with Israeli expertise) from the current ALH project.
(2) Focus related to armor package -->This will take much longer as for a first timer this will be very complicated. It may be possible to retrofit the helicoptors with more and more advanced armor packages as they become available.
In this way, it would be possible for HAL to relatively quickly built the LCH prototypes and begin flight/weapon testing and into service.

No time. No time
Need to upload other clips. The MiG 9 (or 35) may be far more spectacular that the FA 18 - but the later still remains a super maneuverable machine and put up a terrific display. The F/A 18 did the best square loop I have seen in my life, and did an F/A 18 version of tail slide.
The Gripen too is good- fast and agile as would be expected from a Gen IV plus fighter.
The LCA gives all the indications of being powerful and maneuverable in a thundering display. The rate of role seems to be spectaculr - take a look at the video.

Does the Mig-35 engine still have smoke trails?
