Hope someone here has an HD box and has captured it.
Guys if you can then please do record it in high quality(at least 480p). Almost every Indian Military video out on the net low rez (360p or below). In fact I have never seen even one video of the Arjun tank that is not 240p. Though the actual contest may be boring, snippets like 'the attack on Tiger hill' on the IAF version of the show are real gold.

Sir,
Not in the Video, it was shown the episode that aired yesterday...
Loved the Presentation.. Started off with the story of Capt Vikram Batra and the capture of point 4780(am i right here???) and then moved on to the show..
made me feel sick that i could not don the Olive Greens or the Black Dhangiris, when i saw the show..

New video from Mission Army:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gpt1BRM ... ture=feedu

Someone please record the episodes in higher quality with least possible compression. This is too good to to be viewed in lower quality.
Please, please someone record it in high quality. If there was a begging emicon, I would have put it here to convey my emotions.

can we know that how many LGBs were dropped in kargil war??
i guess less than the few because these bombs were costlier than the lives of soldiers for our govt. :((

bofors could not hit at exact point but LGBs could,
moreover mig27 and other types were not even fitted with countermeasures to avoid stingers and air force put very ambitious requirements for LCA even before it had flown while their own systems were not fit for war back then.

if an illiterate militant can shoot down a well educated/trained fighter pilot with stinger this proves the human limitation.

What are you talking about?
The limitations of LGBs during Kargil because of high altitude and fog are widely documented.
As for illiterate Militants, I hope that you are aware of the extent of NLI's involvement in that war.

And regarding Mig-27 etc, I sincerely hope that you would read up a little before posting. :-o

buddy refueling might sound obvious but its really difficult because "buddy" is actually flying right into your engine exhaust (wake turbulence).

IAF Su pilots have started to get real grip on this fighter.

New Rocky and Mayur episode on the snow and jungle survival school for IAF pilots and air crew. This is certainly one of the most informative program I have ever seen. Definitely a must watch.

Was watching a channel yesterday/day before yesterday night.. saw a bit old punjabi song ( about4-5 years old) about an army couple, where the husband is Lt Col in a Inf Bn and the Wife is an AMC officer.. Both of them along with a friend get recalled due to an emergency.. the wife later dies due to a gunshot would recieved while she rushes to tend the friend who is shot by a sniper...
Has anyone ever heard that song before???

Saar photoshop or not please note that this thread is the "multimedia" thread and should be used for posting videos or audio files. Please post photos in a dedicated photographs thread or the newbie thread or the international aerospace discussion thread. This thread is a good collection of links to videos. Please keep it that way. Some of us come to this thread to post or view multimedia files. Thanks
