what a drama happening in pakistan about absconding ten percenti. Groper says he was shifted to Dubai because of security threat! I doubt while saying this he ever realized how humiliating for his country this is!! And now there is a rumor of article 47 getting invoked against 10%
47. Removal [22][or impeachment] of President.
[22A](1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Constitution, the President may, in accordance with the provisions of this Article, be removed from office on the ground of physical or mental incapacity or impeached on a charge of violating the Constitution or gross misconduct.
(2) Not less than one-half of the total membership of either House may give to the Speaker of the National Assembly or, as the case may be, the Chairman written notice of its intention to move a resolution for the removal of, or, as the case may be, to impeach, the President; and such notice shall set out the particulars of his incapacity or of the charge against him.]
(3) If a notice under clause (2) is received by the Chairman, he shall transmit it forthwith to the Speaker.
(4) The Speaker shall, within three days of the receipt of a notice under clause (2) or clause (3), cause a copy of the notice to be transmitted to the President.
(5) The Speaker shall summon the two Houses to meet in a joint sitting not earlier than seven days and not later than fourteen days after the receipt of the notice by him.
(6) The joint sitting may investigate or cause to be investigated the ground or the charge upon which the notice is founded.
(7) The President shall have the right to appear and be represented during the investigation, if any, and before the joint sitting.
(8) If, after consideration of the result of the investigation, if any, a resolution is passed at the joint sitting by the votes of not less than two-thirds of the total membership of [23][Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament)] declaring that the President is unfit to hold the office due to incapacity or is guilty of violating the Constitution or of gross misconduct, the President shall cease to hold office immediately on the passing of the resolution.
Re: Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan (TSP): 06 Dec 201
Mr Zardari must know that he can simply not afford to leave his return to Pakistan open-ended. His own party`s prime minister, Yousuf Raza Gilani, stood on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday and appealed to parliamentarians to ensure that the assemblies complete their term. Why? What threat was Mr Gilani hinting at? And the prime minister also indulged in some conspiratorial talk of his own, suggesting that were Mr Zardari to have been admitted to a Pakistani hospital the president`s life could be in danger. Taken on top of the talk by PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif that democracy should not be derailed, it amounts to something quite serious when the country`s top civilian political leaders are hinting at the possibility of an interruption of the democratic process.
see the peculiar way of referring to their president! Mr. Zardari, not president zardari. However paki media always ref Gen Kayani, Gen Pasha so much for the respect of democracy.

It also illustrates the 'separate electorate' mentality that BK talked about. Incidentally, this is not the first time this bizarre mindset has been displayed. Both Gul and that toad Mirza Aslam Beg have 'advocated' that both Pakistan and India nuke the US in case they invade Iran!.

AP) PARACHINAR, Pakistan — A local government official says militants set off a roadside bomb near a Pakistani army convoy in a tribal region close to the Afghan border, sparking clashes that killed one soldier and 20 militants.Wajid Khan says the incident took place in Khanki village in the Upper Orakzai region on Friday. He says 25 soldiers were wounded in the militants' attack. He says the troops repelled the attack, surrounded and killed 20 militants. The region is home to insurgents loyal to Pakistani Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud.
Some insurgent commanders in Pakistan have claimed to be in peace talks with the government recently. Others have denied any negotiations, as has the government
( So Paks are following Indian tradition of considering 21 as auspicious number)

“We have been in constant and intense dialogue with our Pakistani counterparts. We understand the concern. Frankly, there’s plenty of concern on the American side as well,” State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland told reporters.
Nuland appeared to be upset that Pakistan has not joined the CENTCOM investigation into the 26 November incident in which 24 Pakistani soldiers were killed in a NATO air strike.
......
“We obviously remain open to that kind of participation. But we also are very firmly committed to understanding what happened here, because we have had in the past similar difficulties coordinating and communicating on the border,” she said.
“We have got to get to the bottom of what happened. We’ve got to learn lessons because, frankly, we need to continue to cooperate here. We can’t — either of us, Pakistan, United States, or Afghanistan, frankly — allow these areas to remain safe havens for terrorists. So we’ve got to work this out and that’s what we’re committed to doing,” Nuland said.

Re: Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan (TSP): 06 Dec 201
Pakistan’s army chief has raised the pressure on Asif Ali Zardari, the embattled president, by calling for a swift investigation into a claim that he sought US help to rein in the country’s powerful generals. The allegation has sparked a furore in Pakistan and threatened to undermine Mr Zardari, who was flown to hospital in Dubai last week for medical treatment, injecting a fresh element of drama into the increasingly febrile political scene.High Underscoring the degree of concern within the security establishment, General Ashfaq Kayani, the powerful head of the army, said in a statement to the Supreme Court that the memo represented an attempt to hurt national security.“I also recommended to the prime minister that time was of the essence and that the earlier we knew the truth the better it would be to address the negative fallout for the country,” Gen Kayani said. The remarks were published on Friday in Pakistani newspapers, which were quoting from Gen Kayani’s deposition to the Supreme Court on Thursday.

I think he meant Pland is "strategic moat" for India (If you are referring to his statement about Pakistan being barrier betwen Pashtun and India). He is somewhat correct actually. To make it completely correct, one has to remove the threat moat poses to India and leave it as a passive state of Punjab absorbing the strikes!!

Re: Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan (TSP): 06 Dec 201
Sir: This is with reference to A R Siddiqi’s article, ‘Martial law: adverse hypotheses’ (Daily Times, December 12, 2011). The article is somewhat confusing as the author narrates reasons why a coup is not in the offing even though he hid the sting in the tail literally by not ruling it out either. The author claims that the army faces an external and internal threat too, which is obvious. But what is left unsaid is that the internal threat is the result of the dangerous policies formulated to tackle the external threat. One wonders what role the civilian governments had played in formulating such military doctrines that have severely impacted the sovereignty and stability of Pakistan even as they paid no dividends in wars and conflicts. While agreeing with the author that the army cannot view the rampant crisis as though it is none of its business, the army must also realise that it was its security paradigm that has been the single contributor to the grave situation today, not only for Pakistan but for the entire region as well. It is therefore incumbent upon the army to undo the crisis and subsequently confine itself to professional matters leaving the governance of the country and itself to the elected representatives of the people, however incompetent they may be. The world at large and the neighbours specifically would heave a collective sigh of relief were that to happen.
Thanks & Regards

COAS Kayani expressed commitment to the government, while PM Gilani said that the memogate conspiracy would be revealed.Sources add that the army’s response in the memo case was also discussed during the meeting. Both sides agreed that cooperation was required in dealing with numerous challenges being faced by the country. Later Attorney General Maulvi Anwar ul Haq joined the meeting to discuss legal issues. During the meeting it was decided that institutions should fulfill their constitutional roles and responsibilities and this issue should not be taken as a tussle between the government and army.

Naturally. In an era when India was sending out skilled workers to the west Pakis were cooks serving up Indian dishes in Indian restaurants and they now imagine that this is Paki food. The morons.
But apart from the insight that Pakis see themselves as a separate electorate within India I also get the feeling that early generation Pakis really saw their move to Pakistan as a temporary thing - to be reverse when Hindustan fell to them which would happen in short order.

I believe some have seen this as a perfect bait too. In retrospect, this lure was the only solution. There was no other way we could have gotten them out of the way of progressing forward.

The support given by Iran, Tunisia and China to Shitland is revealing. And George Bush on 14th December 1971 (as UN ambassador) "warns" India not to go against "world opinion". That means, according to St. George Bush it is good to rape and kill Bangladeshis and that world opinion does not want to put a stop to that.
In dealing with Pakistan, India has continuously had to deal with China and the US as well. But oh - that doesn't matter. Indians r incompetent so they can't deal with Pakistan.
However, that apart, it now makes me laugh to see the Chinese nowadays looking really really stupid with Pakistan as their ally. Just read the glowing messages about Pakistan that come from China. Funny stuff.

A sudden pisko doubt occurred after I posted the above reply. The same incompetent Paki army is the one that Pakis worship - the same Pakis who also worship the rapists Ghori, Ghaznavi et al. as their heroes. There must be some link here but I am unable to figure it out.

PRC first made alliance with TSP under Ayub Khan in 1963 when the both settled the COK borders.
They next jumped in TSP's pit right after 1971, as they felt the balance of power since 1947 was lost.
All this time the TSP was run by a Western oriented Army and RAPE clique.
Zia changed all that in 1977 coup by intensyfying the Islamization program.
In other words the Pakis that Cheen was friends with turned from frogs to toads.
Now they are stuck with fear of toadstools or mushrooms.

Indira Gandhi was no Ma Durga, being a mortal human with massive flaws. Still, she developed into a wartime leader on the lines of her childhood hero Jeanne d'Arc. Truly a person whom one would unhesitatingly follow into battle.
On a personal note, I had the honor, as a member of an NCC contingent, to have been part of a "sammaan guard" to present a salaam-e-shastr to this amazing leader. The memory of her stern visage less than a foot from my callow face still produces a frisson.
