Yesterday there was some talk by con race party members about 2 days to do something and then another chat about 200 people from Gujarat going to UP(Gujarat to UP) murdering others in UP (not Gujarat) during Muzaffarnagar riots. Wonder what is government agencies doing and why no one is checking any loose talk (2 days to do what and how, "from Gujarat" means what) in political discourse.

Sonia and her cronies are not going to hand over the election to BJP & Modi in a free and fair manner. Just the other day one of Sonia's goons said "their boys" will be let loose if Modi does not stop going after Rahul prince. ISI is working over time to milk this situation as are CIA (see today's NYT editorial). Modi is in for some rough times ahead.
Re: Internal Security Watch
I agree. However, I'm sure Modi has some allies within the establishment as well including the IB and CBI who are feeding him info. He will have to be very cautious. Congress is like a rabid dog with its backside against the wall. RoyG,
BJP & Cong aside, I don't want India to end up like TSP, Egypt, Syria etc where the cycle of blood letting between BJP supporters and Cong supporters descends into a viscous civil war. Cong wouldn't mind that. The venal b@^&%$ds want to cling to power at any cost. Unlike in the case of ongoing war with TSP, in the internal tussle for power, I would advcie BJP, Modi et. al, that there is virtue in showing the other cheek. Because its India's very existence we are talking about.

Re: Internal Security Watch
There are other means of getting the the queen to abdicate the throne. You keep the pressure on her and build up the momentum. This is exactly what Modi is doing. He just has to ensure that he himself survives the process. This is key. Modi may himself have to ally with foreign powers for added protection unless there are factions within the establishment that are working with him.
Re: Internal Security Watch
RoyG,
Sonia and her goons' strartegy is very clear. They are going to incite Muslims reminding them of the Gujart riots, BJP's "communalism" you name it, and if there is even the slightest reaction from any Hindu, they will use that further hit BJP hard with "I told you so". It is getting ugly, and Sonia is not going to stop pulling any punch at her disposal. The west is firmly on her side, because any form of Hindu nationalistic regrouping of India is not in their interest for a host of reasons, most of all because their TSP munna will start getting unbearable anal itch.
But what astonishes me, and this ought to be a study of India itself, as to how is it possible for a 2-bit foreign entity like her hold a billion plus Indians, 80+% of Hindus, at bay. How can she be so brazen as to grab the PM throne for her thuggish son, and large sections of Indian people treat her like a Goddess.

Patna explosions, some details (TOI)
Eight explosive devices with timers went off between 9.30am and 12.25pm as part of a serial bomb attack suspected to be the handiwork of Indian Mujahideen (IM). Four alleged operatives of the outfit have been detained, one of whom is in critical condition after being caught in a blast. During interrogation, they reportedly told the police that they had staged the attack in retaliation for the Muzaffarnagar riots. They are also said to have named the IM module involved in the Bodh Gaya blasts.
The names of the four detained are Imtiaz Ansari, Ainul, Akhtar and Kaleem. Ansari, a resident of Ranchi, was apprehended at the railway station just after the first two bombs went off. He was apparently planning to plant some more bombs but panicked when he saw the police and bomb disposal squad. On being challenged, he tried to flee but was arrested.
The investigators then got incredibly lucky. Ansari had been asked by his handlers not to carry a mobile phone. So he had jotted down phone numbers of a dozen conspirators on a piece of paper, which fell into the hands of the cops and helped them track down some of the others. One of them, Ainul, who is critical, was initially believed to be a victim of the railway station blasts before it emerged that he was also part of the conspiracy.
Six of the bombs went off inside and near Gandhi Maidan, the sprawling rally venue. The remaining two blasts took place inside a public convenience complex at Patna Junction when trains, including special ones hired by the BJP, were disgorging rallyists. The police officially said there was only one blast inside the railway station, but sources insisted there were two.
Re: Internal Security Watch
And what was MMS bragging about whenever he went abroad? No IM has ever been caught in terror activities. Delusional leadership and now the chickens have come home to roost.
Re: Internal Security Watch
Oh yes, this is another elementary know your Indian secularists 101 enunciated on BR a long time ago by long timers like me. When MMS says no IM caught in terror activities, he means and explicitly says so that no IM is part of the mighty Al Queda. In other words, as a loyal servant and mouthpiece he is to US/UK interests, he sincerely believs that Al Queda killing westerners is the gold standard for terrorism.Karan M wrote:And what was MMS bragging about whenever he went abroad? No IM has ever been caught in terror activities. Delusional leadership and now the chickens have come home to roost.
So Islamists including IMs colluding with Paki LET killing their Indian brethren don't count as terror or at least not part of the "internationally accepted" gold standard. Unlike Al Queda's exploits on 9/11 which is considered unadulterated evil, the kind of terror IMs are involved in is not; rather, they battling communal evil forces like Modi and other "Hindu extremists", baad Indian military's "human rights violations" of Kashmiri Muslims demanding secession etc. So you get the drift. Assuming its true, i.e., that no Indian Muslim is part of the mighty Al Queda: it is a badge of honor every secular Indian has to wear and display, or else you are communal.

They had apparently been poisoned and their bodies placed on the tracks to make it seem like an accident. However, they were discovered by a passer-by before a train could pass over the bodies. In any other country, the murder of two engineers connected to a crucial strategic program would have created a media storm. However, the deaths of the two were passed off both by the media as well as by the Ministry of Defence as a routine accident, with only the ordinary police officer tasked with investigations into the cause of death. The inquiries went nowhere.
The killer had used a duplicate key to enter the house and strangle the engineer in his sleep. Interestingly, efforts were made by some of the investigating police officers to pass the death off as a suicide. Finally, the Mumbai police decided to register a case of murder. However, as is usual in such cases, no arrests were made and the investigation ran into a stonewall. Forensics experts say that in all such unexplained deaths of scientists and engineers involved in the nuclear program, fingerprints are absent, as also other telltale clues that would assist the police in identifying the culprit. These indicate a high degree of professionalism behind the murders, such as can be found in top-flight intelligence agencies of the type that have been so successful in killing Iranian scientists and engineers active in that country's nuclear program

Blore blasts- 3 acquitted
The first additional metropolitan magistrate in Bangalore has acquitted three persons in connection with the Malleshwaram or BJP office blast case. The court while ordering the acquittal of the three persons observed that the Bangalore police had failed to file a chargesheet against them in the stipulated 180 day period.
Ironically one of the persons acquitted in this case was named as the primary accused when the first information report was filed. Those acquitted are Peer Mohideen, Saddam Hussain and Tenkasi Hanif who were shown as accused 1, 7 and 14 as per the FIR filed after the blasts....
In all the Bangalore police had named 15 persons in the initial report following this very high profile blast outside the BJP office. Now 5 persons have been let off in this case.

For 170 of those 180 days, CONg has been in power in Karnataka.
The conclusion is obvious. The men arrested were CONg sponsored terrorists, just like the operatives who carried out the Patna blasts. Hence, once CONg seized power in Karnataka there was no chance of a chargesheet being filed.
CONgress party workers are demoralized. They have no faith in their leadership, its integrity, its dedication, or its ability to govern. The Sonia Mafia, realizing that it cannot rely on such cadres, has filled the rank-and-file with a new sort of cadre: terrorist Indian Mujahedin elements, to do their political work for them. Dawood/ISI are the nexus between CONg and its IM cadres. Welcome to a new era in Indian "democracy".

Four killed as violence recurs in Muzaffarnagar
STAFF REPORTER
Four persons, including a woman, were killed in two incidents of violence in the Budhana area of Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district on Wednesday. It was, however, unclear if the killings were a result of communal tension or land disputes.
On Wednesday evening, Muhammadpurraisingh village resident Rajendra Singh, a retired army man, went to work on a field in Hussainpur-Khanpur with his wife. There, local sources said, they were attacked by unidentified masked men, who killed Mr. Singh’s wife. Mr. Singh sustained serious injuries.
This led to a clash between people of two villages. Three youths were then killed in retaliatory violence by unidentified persons. The three have been identified as Afroz, Meherbaan and Ajmal.
Without going into details, the Muzzafarnagar SSP confirmed the news. While the police have not revealed details, there are conflicting accounts of the events. While it was reported that the three were beaten to death, a social activist from the area said firing had taken place. Tension prevailed in the area even as police forces were rushed to the spot from neighbouring districts.
In another incident at Beerpur, a former pradhan was shot at, allegedly by the incumbent, over a land dispute, Station officer A. Chaudhary said. The incident took place in a sugarcane field, close to a relief camp, around 6.30 p.m. The land belongs to the Forest Department.

LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday issued a warning that rioters in Muzaffarnagar will be crushed with an iron hand. He also reminded that he had ordered firing on the kar sevaks exactly 23 years ago on October 30, 1990, in Ayodhya to uphold the Constitution.
"Some people are instigating riots. I must remind them that they cannot challenge the might of the government. The government is very powerful. I must also tell rioters that I know how to crush such activities," Mulayam said while recalling how as chief minister of Uttar Pradesh in 1990 he ordered firing at kar sevaks who had assembled in Ayodhya on the call of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the BJP for bulldozing Babri mosque and construction of Ram temple.
Over 15 people were killed in the firing. The incident had earned Mulayam unflinching loyalty of Muslims and sobriquet "mullah".
Mulayam said that his situation in 1990 was like that of Arjuna in Mahabharat who was forced to kill his own family members for the sake of "dharma". "I had to order firing to uphold constitution of India and the Supreme Court order," he said.

Meanwhile, UP chief minister and Mulayam's son Akhilesh Yadav said that he is keeping an eye on Muzaffarnagar and the government will take all possible steps to bring situation under control. He said that SP will not compromise with communalism. All those who want to vitiate the atmosphere in the state will not be spared, he said.

The so called dharm-nirapeksh (secular) parties were taking advantage of the fact that Mr Modi follows the principles of Hindutva. They were portraying Hindutva as something anti non-Hindu religions. My understanding was that Mr Modi's practising of principles of Hindutva in no way meant that he would allow killing people of other religions... Today Gujarat is one of the best administered states not only for Hindus but for all religions and all castes. The credit for this goes to only and only Mr Modi.

Bloodbath on UP roads over onions
Niticentral Staff02 Nov 2013
The driver and cleaner of a truck carrying onions from neighbouring Madhya Pradesh were murdered by a gang of robbers on Friday on National Highway-24 in in Uttar Pradesh after they looted the consignment.
Jaunpur’s Superintendent of Police Happy Guptan said that three members of the gang were arrested Thursday evening.
According to the police, the criminals had followed the truck coming from Tamil Nadu in two Indigo cars. They intercepted it and told the driver that they were from the Mandi Samiti and wanted to check the consignment, police said.
They then drugged the driver and cleaner and shot point blank in their head and dumped the driver’s body in Sigramau in Jaunpur district, the cleaner’s body in Sultanpur.
Meanwhile, a special task force of the UP Police has nabbed five of the 10-member gang.
They confessed to carrying out a similar murder of another truck driver in Vardha in Azamgarh two months back, police said.
They admitted to looting the truck, which was coming from Tamil Nadu, on the night of Oct 7-8 near Satarhia and killing its driver and cleaner.
Police say there have been eight such incidents on the Allahabad-Manganwa road (from Rewa) and Allahabad-Varanasi road in the past two months.
An egg vendor was shot dead in Etah district in UP for not sprinkling onions in an omelette.

Re: Internal Security Watch
Some interesting details about NIA's functioning:
http://www.niticentral.com/2013/08/03/n ... 13407.html
http://www.niticentral.com/2013/08/03/n ... 13407.html
The latest affidavit filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to oppose the bail plea of Sadhvi Pragya in the Malegaon 2008 case, has given a new twist to the case and revealed certain contradictions and crucial gaps in the prosecution case. As of now, the special MCOCA court has reserved its judgment and no date has been set for the same.
Briefly, Sadhvi Pragya was implicated in the blasts case because a scooter once owned by her and still registered in her name despite being sold to late Sunil Joshi was used in the blast. Secondly, Sudhakar Dhar Dwivedi (Sankaracharya) implicated her in a damning confession that gave dates and details of meetings in various cities, wherein the alleged conspiracy was hatched.
NIA making a mess of Malegaon investigation
However, now, the NIA seems to have quietly mutated these conspiratorial meetings into a series of exchanges over mobile phones, between the alleged conspirators! While there are no recordings of the conversations, the NIA has furnished the Court with the call detail reports (CDRs) of certain mobiles, to authenticate the claims of conspiracy. Even these details are incomplete and one-sided, and raise serious questions about the professional calibre of the agency.
The NIA’s investigating officer, Arvind Digvijay Negi, Additional Superintendent of Police, submitted an affidavit dated July 19, 2013, to the special MCOCA court at Nashik, regarding call detail reports (CDRs) of Pragya and other accused persons, obtained from mobile service providers. These documents were part of the charge sheet filed by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), and the prosecution relied on them to show that during the period of the alleged conspiracy, Sadhvi Pragya was in contact with Accused No 10 (A-10, Sudhakar Dwivedi, Sankaracharya) and he in turn, was in touch with A-9, Lt Col Prasad S Purohit.
There is good reason to question legality of NIA’s functioning
The NIA reported the conclusions of its analysis of the CDRs of the mobiles used by Pragya (A-1, 9303343231 and 9406600004). It said that when Sadhvi Pragya was arrested on October 23, 2008, she was in possession of both the mobile numbers, and this is reflected in the arrest (panchnama) dated October 23, 2008. Her affidavit before the National Human Rights Commission states that these are her numbers. Analysis of mobile 9303343231 shows she was in touch with Ramchandra Gopal Kalsangra, a wanted accused (W-2), from July 6 to October 9, 2008 on his number, 9425911745. She also communicated with him from her second number 9406600004 on his 9425911745 and 9425911724 numbers respectively between April 5 to October 9, 2008, after the alleged meeting at Bhopal on April 12, 2008.
NIA Malegaon blast chargesheet contradicts CBI, ATS findings
During this period, i.e., April 5 to October 9, 2008, Sadhvi Pragya was in contact with accused Prasad Purohit on his mobile number 9406524594; with wanted accused Sandeep Dange on his mobile number 942532281 and Ramesh Upadhyay on his mobile number, i.e., 9326603000. She was also in touch with accused Sudhakar Chaturvedi and Sankaracharya Sudhakar Dwivedi on his mobile 9336548787 (here the time period is not given). From April 1 to October 28, 2008, Sadhvi Pragya was in touch with Ramesh Upadhyay; between May 1 to October 25, 2008, she was in touch with Sudhakar Chaturvedi along with Sudhakar Dwivedi on his cell 9336548787 from April 5 to October 9, 2008. During the same period, she contacted wanted accused Sandeep Dange on his mobile numbers, i.e., 9425322821 and 9425706625.
The call details of accused Pragya Singh’s mobile 9406600004 reflect that she was in Jabalpur on June 29 and 30, 2008 respectively. From July 2 till July 5, 2008, she was in Indore and kept in constant touch with A-10 (Sankaracharya) on his number, i.e., 9336548787; he was also stationed in Indore under the originating switch ID LDBHPL-3 and under the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) addresses (1) BTS ID 3 Mayur Palace, Hotel Mayur Palace Chhaoni Area, Opp Mathrawala, Indore and (2) BTS ID 240 Janki Nagar, C/o Ajay Garg, Kamlasan Apartment, 4-A Janki Nagar Indore.
These two BTS locations are within a radius of 2 km from the residency area where the Indore circuit house is situated. The CDR’s of Sadhvi Pragya’s mobile number, which is 9406600004 and further reflects that on July 1, 2008, she was continuously in touch with wanted accused Ramchandra Kalsangra and was stationed in Indore after 1 pm, where she remained till the second half of July 6, 2008.
The NIA affidavit further states that as per the CDR of accused Sudhakar Dwivedi (Sankaracharya, 9336548787), he was in touch with accused Purohit on July 2 and 3, 2008 when the latter was stationed at Pachmarhi, MP. The Sankaracharya was said to be staying at the circuit house, Indore, at the time. The NIA claimed that all these call details corroborate the confessional statements given by Sudhakar Dwivedi (Sankaracharya) under Section 18 of MCOC Act.
In her reply, dated July 30, 2013, Sadhvi Pragya, whose lawyer’s are making another attempt to secure bail, has countered that her alleged location on certain dates by reliance on mobile phone records indicate the date of calls and the mobile phone numbers to and from which calls were made. But the Base Transceiver Station [BTS] records of these calls do not support the prosecution case for several reasons.
To begin with, the records presented pertain to mobile 9336548787 of accused no 10 (A-10, Sudhakar Dwivedi, Sankaracharya), and while the records prove the location where he was present, they do not reflect where Sadhvi Pragya was located. The CDRs do not show that she was in Indore on the relevant dates she was reputedly in touch with A-10 in July 2008. The adverse inference that can be drawn from the prosecution failure to establish Sadhvi Pragya’s location – when records were available but were not furnished with the charge sheet as was done in the case of A-10 – suggests that the phone records, if produced, would indicate that the Sadhvi was not in Indore on the relevant dates.
It is also irrelevant that Sadhvi Pragya made calls to A-10 on July 2, 2008; his confession does not even remotely indicate that the said calls between him and Sadhvi incriminated the latter. The most crucial aspect of A-10’s confession was that three or four days after his arrival in Indore on June 30, 2008, i.e. on July 3 and 4, Sadhvi Pragya visited him at the circuit house along with the wanted accused Kalsangra and

Dange had introduced them to him as her men. But Sadhvi Pragya’s call records have not been produced to substantiate the claim that she was in Indore in July. Nor have the phone records of Kalsangra and Dange been produced to indicate that they were in Indore at that time. The Register of the circuit house at Indore, produced by the prosecution itself, along with the statement of the manager (prosecution witness no 93) also falsify the prosecution case and the confession of A-10 to the effect that he stayed in the circuit house and the applicant met him there with two wanted accused in the case.
It is pertinent that as per the Government rules, a person staying in the circuit house has to sign the register himself. If Sudhakar Dwivedi used a false name, the register should reflect that af false identity and the manager should be able to identify him. The circuit house manager would also know who made the booking for the Sankaracharya, as this can only be done by someone in the Government. This is, therefore, a gaping hole in the prosecution case. The call records of A-10 indicate that he was in Indore from July 1 to 5, 2008, but falsify his story that he stayed in Circuit House Indore. The call records show that all calls were received by him at two locations between which he obviously travelled and resided or spent his time.
It is true that these locations fell within a radius of two km of the circuit house. But the prosecution has not shown that calls received or made from his mobile (if he was living at the circuit house) would be logged at the two addresses cited, namely, 1) Mayur Palace, Hotel Mayur Palace, Chhaoni Area, Opp Mathrawala, Indore and 2) Janki Nagar C/o Ajay Garg, Kamlasan Apartment, 4-A Janki Nagar, Indore. So, was A-10 living at these addresses when he was in Indore, from July 1 to 5, 2008?
Finally, regarding the second occasion in July 2008 when Sadhvi Pragya is supposed to have communicated with A-10, there is no evidence at all to substantiate this communication. In fact, the evidence falsifies the narration of the second communication in July 2008. According to A-10, during the communal riots in the latter part of July 2008, Kalsangra and Dange came to meet him at the circuit house. Sadhvi Pragya could not come but spoke to him on telephone and allegedly requested A-10 to speak to Purohit to request him to give explosives to Kalsangra and Dange.
Sadhvi Pragya claims this is patently false. The call records of A-10 do not indicate that he was in Indore at any time after July 5. The Sadhvi’s call records indicating her location in July have not been produced, which suggests that she was not present in Indore in the month of July 2008. The call records of Kalsangra and Dange, indicating their location on both the occasions as per the confession of A-10, have also not been produced, which again suggests that they were not present in Indore on any date in July 2008.
However, it is intriguing that the call record details produced by the prosecution do not disclose any calls made by A-10 from his mobile to Lt Col Purohit’s mobile (9406524594), which is mentioned in A-10’s confession, on any date in July 2008. All in all, the Malegaon 2008 blasts probe just got curiouser.
