Four years after it was forced to shut down its website in the wake of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the Lashkar-e-Taiba's parent organisation has re-established its presence in cyberspace.

I have no power in my office this morning since thanks to TNEB, I cant take a leak sicne the bathrooms don't have water. But still INC finds surplus power to export 500MW to Pakistan.

I am living in Metro, think of rural India where elderly and children are dying of heatstroke thanks to 500MW export to Pakistan, how many Indian lives can be saved. Can the leftists and WKK brigade answer for this traitorous work?

Looks like while bringing paki judiciary down, malik riaz is also helping bring down the paki media:

The day media itself got embroiled in scandal
ISLAMABAD, June 14: Malik Riaz strode on to the national political scene vowing to expose the court but he has ended up facilitating an expose of the media, the climax of which came with the release of footage in which two talk show hosts interacted with the property tycoon in a manner that suggested an interview more pre-planned and coordinated than a ‘hard talk’.
At one point, Lucman tells Riaz, “Give me a villa like you have given Hamid Mir [who hosts a show at Geo TV]”. He goes on to add during a phone call, ostensibly from Abdul Qadir Gilani, the prime minister’s son, that Riaz had stopped him from naming Mir on air.

Mr Lucman then hands over the phone to Riaz who is heard calling Mr Gilani “Bunny” and asking if everything is going well. The name dropping does not end here.

Ms Bokhari also informs Malik Riaz that she has received a message from Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, that Hamza Shahbaz turned down the bullet-proof car offered by Mr Riaz.

The businessmen can also be seen choosing questions that he is to be asked. “You ask me as to why I am involved in all the deals,” he tells the two sitting in front of him.

hajam sethi's conclusion is that malik riaz's fiasco is something big and its effects will be like a nuke explosion, which will have a far reaching impact. Let's hope the hara-kiri take a major toll and bad actors get culled.

meanwhile, hope MMS team had good discussion on siachen, let's have a round of discussion on sir creek or better yet on timbaktoo also please.

More like blessing from GoI. If we take off the pressure, subdue any will power to bring them to justice and sit for negotiation then why should pakis evn give a hoot?

abhijit, I expect WKKs to argue that a terror attack on India every now and then should be viewed in proper perspective as it helps to vent off excess steam which otherwise could blow apart Pakistan itself. A blown-apart Pakistan is more difficult to manage, you know.

One reaction to such problems is the emigration of the middle class of Karachi to other countries. "The rich and the middle class are leaving Karachi because of security concerns," said Anees Ahmed, an immigration consultant. "Emigration is at its peak, especially to Australia, Canada and even Malaysia."

The Way Ahead - Najam Sethi in TFT
Riaz Malik has presented credible evidence of footing the bills of Arsalan Chaudhry, the son of the CJP, for more than Rs 34 crore in the last three years for favours promised but not fulfilled in cases of property disputes relating to Mr Malik's business empire pending before his father in the SC.
So, there is credible evidence of bribery by the Paragon of Virtues, the CJP. Now, the underlined is the fact that the CJP is using in his favour. He claims that his integrity (and that of the SC by extension) remains untarnished because no favours were shown. All right, but what about the Rs. 34 Crores taken as bribes ? The CJP is a thorough Pakistani because he double-crossed. He also invoked Islam, Caliphs & Koran to claim his innocence.
Privately, everyone acknowledges that the son is guilty as charged. Some also say, prima facie, the CJP is tainted. But publicly they are with the CJP.
The military's secret intelligence agencies are suspected of hatching this conspiracy to oust the CJP or weaken him so that he cannot make trouble for them. Insiders claim that Mr Malik would never have acted so boldly without a green light from them.
. . . if the gridlock persists amidst bitter wrangling and violent protests, the military might be emboldened to intervene in the "national interest" to stop the slide into anarchy as it has done three times in the past six decades.

The CJP has shown nothing but his true pakistaniyat , taking the bribe and not doing what is expected in return. Just what the pakis have been doing since time immemorial. In fact he is the best candidate to be the next President of TSP.

He has all the pre-requisites

Taking Bribes - check
Not Delivering on the Promises - check
Swearing on the Green Book - check
Taqiyya - check

Pakistan attorney general turns abusive in Supreme Court
Pakistan Attorney General Irfan Qadir created a ruckus in the courtroom Thursday by using "abusive remarks" against the Supreme Court judges and some "vulgar gesture", Geo News reported.

The incident occurred when the apex court was hearing identical petitions challenging National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza's ruling not to pass on the disqualification reference against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to the Election Commission.

On June 6, the court had issued notices to the prime minister, attorney general, National Assembly speaker, the Election Commission and the Federation while hearing petitions.

A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, heard the petitions filed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), advocate Azhar Chaudhry and others challenging the speaker's ruling of May 28 that there was no question of prime minister's disqualification.

According to Geo News, Qadir Thursday ridiculed the judges and used abusive remarks against them in the court and continued interrupting the proceedings, while the bench kept reminding him of his position.

Qadir kept repeating how the judges fled soon after announcing Gilani's conviction verdict.

The situation, however, deteriorated after the attorney general used a vulgar gesture that provoked some lawyers. Just as they tried to approach him, security was called in to control the situation.

Senior lawyers present on the occasion in the courtroom intervened to help cool the situation.

As the hearing proceeded, the chief justice remarked that everyone here had the right to speak and Qadir and lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan were their colleagues. "Masses will compare us with some other people if we do not maintain decorum in the courtroom."
Who are these other people?

Communal Hindu fascist...

Stable Pakistan is in Indian interest. We should offer some free weapons, dismantle all our missiles above 100 k.m range and provide space technology to TSP so that the TSPA do not feel scared of us and become so secure and well-off so that they wont ever feel like killing more Indians due to jealousy

The Pakistanis could (and would, I will be surprised if they didn't) even go a step further and demand that India must become like Pakistan, no economy, no investment, no development because all these things could threaten them.

PS: Like how Lalu Prasad promised to make Japan & Bihar the same.

Leadership in India is like a one-person democracy. The person at the top takes all the decisions. Therefore, all these mindless and ill-conceived decisions regarding pakiland can be and must be attributed to the top.

DAMN no UK, IN a way it is better that every Western country gets exposed to the worst form of Pakis and Pakiness, enough of thier population is rilled up that the past mindless unlimited support to Pakis can no longer be freely undertaken by the leaders of these nations.

What we are looking is .5% of Population. Enough to show Pakiness, too small to Veto thier leaders like in UK.

Ideally they should be like Japs in US in WWII

Why Gilgit-Baltistan Region Deserves to be the Fifth Province in the Grand Union of Pa'astan.
Let me count the reasons!

Make Gilgit-Baltistan the fifth province of Pakistan
The people of Gilgit-Baltistan have always been unequivocal in defending their association with Pakistan.
..the region ...has never lagged behind any other province in terms of sacrifices for the sovereignty of the state.
The people of Gilgit-Baltistan have never complained about their miseries despite having no right to cast votes, no representation in the national assembly or senate, and a strong sense of deprivationin :D many other fields where other provincesenjoy constitutional rights.
In 1948, the Republic of Gilgit-Baltistan emerged on the map of the world and survived only for a couple of weeks.
Because of the political circumstances that included a lack of resources, governance skills and political leadership, the victorious freedom fighters opted to accede to Pakistan unconditionally.
Until the first tenure of Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Gilgit-Baltistan was taken for granted.
In the four wars that Pakistan has fought with India, some of the best soldiers in Pakistan Army were from Gilgit-Baltistan.
They fought for the country despite knowing their constitutional status. For them, passports and ID cards were just pieces of paper.
Ironically, Azad Kashmir has enjoyed a status of a semi state for decades and Gilgit-Baltistan, then Northern Areas of Pakistan, suffered with an identity crisis for decades.
The Kargil War is also an evidence of the love of the people of the region with Pakistan. In 1999, hundreds of soldiers of the Northern Light Infantry sacrificed their lives and fought in extreme conditions to capture Kargil, but they were labeled militants and mujahideen. They stood by their country despite being disowned.
And although there are separatist movements in some parts of Pakistan, the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have always remained loyal to Pakistan.
The sovereignty of Gilgit-Baltistan is much more important for Pakistan than that of Srinagar.
Therefore (here comes the conclusion),
Considering the sacrifices and loyalty of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and considering the strategic important of the region (and despite being buggered, raped, pillaged, looted, killed, jailed, mocked, reduced in stature, humiliated...), it should be given the status of Pakistan's fifth province.

Otherwise (or else),
It is essential that the legislators, think tanks and policy makers in Pakistan resolve this issue on a priority basis, before there is a sense of deprivation in the region similar to the former East Pakistan or Balochistan.
This heart rending article has moved me to tears. I am sold. I am convinced. In case you wondered who wrote this moving article: Dr Zaeem Zia is a Health Policy scholar at the University of Oklahoma, USA. (Must be on an all-paid paki scholarship)

Family's 20 kids highlight Pakistan's population explosion
Islam Mohmand and his two wives have so many children that he sometimes gets confused and needs help to remember all of their names.

They have 20 kids in all but would be happy to bring even more into their small family house.

But population experts in Pakistan, where the Mohmands are from, say families like theirs are fueling a population explosion that is fast becoming the country's most dangerous crisis.
"None of these methods is allowed in Islam," said Maulana Tanveer Alvi, a Muslim cleric. "Whatever is born in the world -- animals, humans, anything living -- God is responsible for their care.

"The process of reproduction will go on until God stops it. Why should a Muslim worry about the increase in population when God has taken responsibility for everyone's care?"

shiv wrote:Communal riots with tanks is actually an expression that should not IMO be dismissed. You see most India Pakistan wars are treated as secular "territorial" wars. "Communal riot with tanks" at least is honest in hinting that there is a religious conflict issue here. Most secular views of india Pakistan wars tend to dismiss the Islamic irredentism and jihad factors and treat them as secular wars. It is a mistake to do that. Communal riot with tanks recognizes the religion rooted issue - but is "mildly secular" in not pinpointing the fact that it is essential an Islam war against kafirs. But it is better than hiding behind a secular excuse for war.

If someone could go back to the history of all india Pakistan wars - you will find that none of them is recorded as Muslim versus non Muslim. Yet we know damn well that this is exactly what those wars were about. Why hide from the "communal" angle - with communal being a secular word for "religion based"? What history are we trying to suppress? "Territorial war" is pseudosecualrism. Communal riot with tanks is more honest.
This is only partially correct.

Pakistan is an islamic nation and fought for/by/with Islam. On the other hand India (I am talking about entire Hindu nation) is not overtly Hindu in the past 1000 years to say the least (It is nearly 2000 years if your consider the advent of Buddhism). Independent India is secular nation and its Army was never fought a religious war, be it with Pakistan or China.

So this statement incorrectly implies that India is a Hindu nation, which it is not.

We do not know if India would let Burma go out, Tibet go to China, PoK go to Pakistan, Aksai-chin to China, BD to form and so on, if India was a true Hindu federal structure.

The Guardian, UK:

Pakistan boasted of nuclear strike on India within eight seconds
The nuclear warnings came during a visit by Blair to the Indian subcontinent after the 9/11 attacks in 2001. Campbell was told about the eight-second threat over a dinner in Islamabad on 5 October 2001 hosted by Pervez Musharraf, then Pakistan's president.

Campbell writes: "At dinner I was between two five-star generals who spent most of the time listing atrocities for which they held the Indians responsible, killing their own people and trying to blame 'freedom fighters'. They were pretty convinced that one day there would be a nuclear war because India, despite its vast population and despite being seven times bigger, was unstable and determined to take them out.

"When the time came to leave, the livelier of the two generals asked me to remind the Indians: 'It takes us eight seconds to get the missiles over,' then flashed a huge toothy grin."

You are probably right. Apparently Groper's son and Nawaz are involved in it a big way. Seems everyone -- Judiciary, Politicians, Army, their sons uncles and aunts have banded together to screw the public over. In public they fight. In private it is a one huge lootfest.
Plus they are all related to each other. It's one incestuous loot fest.

For example, PML(N)'s equivalent of Digvijay Singh is Rana Sanaullah Khan - Pakjab's Law Minister and patron of Sipah-e-Sahaba and Jaish-e-Mohammad. Sanaullah is actually Chief Justice Iftikhar Choudhry's first cousin! Now he has come out swinging against Malik Riaz while Nawaz/Shahbaz Sharifs are quiet because they both have taken money and favors from Riaz. Under the covers, its one messy soup.

That warning was in late 2001. Around that time, or possibly a few months later, there was this chilling article in the Atlantic Monthly by Peter Landesman of his encounter with a PA Brigadier who was a serving aide to Ms. Bhutto. On a visit to Brigadier Amanullah’s house in Islamabad, Landesman sees a landscape painting showing the Bhuttos with what he (Landesman) thinks is a rocket heading to the moon. He asks the Brigadier about it, and is told the painting is actually "A nuclear warhead heading to India".
The rest of the narrative in Landesman’s own words:

I thought he was making a joke. Then I saw he wasn't. I thought of the shrines to Pakistan's nuclear-weapons site, prominently displayed in every city. I told Aman that I was disturbed by the ease with which Pakistanis talk of nuclear war with India.
Aman shook his head. "No," he said matter-of-factly. "This should happen. We should use the bomb."
"For what purpose?" He didn't seem to understand my question. "In retaliation?" I asked.
"Why not?"
"Or first strike?"
"Why not?"
I looked for a sign of irony. None was visible. Rocking his head side to side, his expression becoming more and more withdrawn, Aman launched into a monologue that neither of us, I am sure, knew was coming:
"We should fire at them and take out a few of their cities—Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta," he said. "They should fire back and take Karachi and Lahore. Kill off a hundred or two hundred million people. They should fire at us and it would all be over. They have acted so badly toward us; they have been so mean. We should teach them a lesson. It would teach all of us a lesson. There is no future here, and we need to start over. So many people think this. Have you been to the villages of Pakistan, the interior? There is nothing but dire poverty and pain. The children have no education; there is nothing to look forward to. Go into the villages, see the poverty. There is no drinking water. Small children without shoes walk miles for a drink of water. I go to the villages and I want to cry. My children have no future. None of the children of Pakistan have a future. We are surrounded by nothing but war and suffering. Millions should die away."
"Pakistan should fire pre-emptively?" I asked.
Aman nodded.
"And you are willing to see your children die?"
"Tens of thousands of people are dying in Kashmir, and the only superpower says nothing," Aman said. "America has sided with India because it has interests there." He told me he was willing to see his children be killed. He repeated that they didn't have any future — his children or any other children.
I asked him if he thought he was alone in his thoughts, and Aman made it clear to me that he was not.
"Believe me," he went on, "If I were in charge, I would have already done it."
Aman stopped, as though he'd stunned even himself. Then he added, with quiet forcefulness, "Before I die, I hope I should see it."
It is this hopeless desperation {Ten years later, the situation must be far worse and here we are talking peace with that country, hoping of buying peace by vacating Siachen etc.} that western officials are warning India about as New Delhi weighs the military option. A country without a future is quite willing to go down and try and take with it a country which is hopeful of its future despite its myriad problems.

SSridhar garu,

The narrative for Pakistan should be that they have a future only separately as provinces, but never together as Pakistan.

Their problem is always blame it on others. No amount of explaining would help that they themselves are to blame for their predicament. It does not really help to get into the details with them. They have been regurgitating the same story about their formation history and trying to find some fault, but always ending up blaming others - India mostly but also USA. Discussions with them on point for point basis is also useless, because their psyche is one of scapegoating, escapism, self-denial. It is destructive.

Since destruction is the only thing they can do well, one should convince them that their salvation truly lies in destruction - in destruction of the self, destruction of Pakistan. Here they don't need to build anything. All they need to do is destruct, something they can do pretty well. So it is easy for them.

The narrative should be: Destroy yourselves as Pakistan. Divide the country into 4-6 provinces, and then the world will come and help you and save your children.

If memory serves a “Five Star General” in the Army of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan would be a “Field Marshall”. The last and only Field Marshall the Islamic Republic had was Ayub Khan who was long dead when this event purportedly took place.

Could be that Alastair Campbell is continuing his penchant for “sexing up” events and is doing to his diaries what he did to the dossier used to make the Blair Governments case for going to war against Iraq  .

this is why I personally advocate that we should devote a substantial amount of our resources to keep track and eventually take out/incapacitate pak's nuke capability.

given the increasing jehadisation that is progressing through the ranks, by the time zia's progenies come to power it will be a matter of when not if.

Often we highlight what we want to see...

This message has nothing to do with Hindustan. It is all about the plight of Pakistan, their future and their shackles and how the secular India left Pakistan to their fate, thats what he meant when he says India is mean to them.

When current day Af-Pak fell to Greeks, the Hindustan did not leave them to their fate. A Bharatiya from coastal-Godawari area, Arya Chanakya, lead the Bharatiya revolution and rebuilt this region in Dharmic image. That Arya Chanakya later brought down to 'Ariyan fascist', 'Kautilaya' and 'chanikya-ness' by the so-called secularists.
We should fire at them and take out a few of their cities—Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta," he said. Millions should die away.
