timur is a big national hero in his homeland.
RB, post 2611 I recall reading a report that SAS had gamed the thing in london ...their conclusion was no police force could take such a fast moving battle and retain contact / corner etc....so initial lot of damage was certain before any such situation could be controlled. those london cops in BPJ and white well pressed shirts and MP3 look nice but may not suffice

Indeed. And Dzhokar is pronounced roughly as Jauhar...

More than likely private contractors like the ones below.
To others who were worried that the Boston bombing would be tied to Islamist extremism, he was a "Hindu brahmin." One cyberwarrior tweeting under the handle @DrAQ_Khan gloated: "The alleged suspect for Boston bombings was a Hindu Sunil Tripathi. We urge Western media to now showcase all Hindus as Terrorists." ……………………………………
There was no mention of names on the police scanner, as reported by anyone who was actually listening to it. One idiot posted on one forum "ZOMG, I've just heard the names on police scanner, Mike Mulugeta, Sunil Tripathi". In some of the more reliable forums, a lot of other members immediately contradicted that info and called posters out for trolling. However, twitter being twitter and the internet being what it is, lots of people started reposting the lie because they want to either (a) get their 15 minutes of fame or (b) confirm their own private prejudices or (c) both. And newspaper blogs stated re-posting the same cr*p too.
Unfortunately, this forum is also not immune to that disease (you know who you are).

If the twitter A/c is really his... its a treasure trove of info ... the people he follows and the tweets
The guy had >1000 tweets to his a/c which by itself is a notable aberration to his expected persona (expected a recluse ,found a rambling twit) , started tweeting from October 2011.
One tweet frm Jan 2013
@J_tsar
I don't argue with fools who say islam is terrorism it's not worth a thing, let an idiot remain an idiot
Can someone enlarge the plate on the beemer? Hopefully it is not photoshopped. The 'Furious 5' as they are/were referring to each other in their tweets.
Few individuals claimed it indicates 'Terrorists' or 'Terrorista' etc.
The NDTV footage of interview with Fateh is revealing. Fellow first reels of attacks - Madrid, 9/11, London, Mumbai etc and says that mass attacks against innocents is a Jihadist speciality, so it is reasonable to suspect their hand in Boston.
Shivam Vij barges in and inserts a line "yes yes but in India, we have had hindoo terror attacks too!!"
The Leftist with their patronizing snobbery are partly to blame why certain sections of the society never progress.

I was just typing this - even in TSPians we need to differentiate between people like Nadeem Paracha and Fateh. I really don't know what makes people like Vij tick, or a tick.
“Why don't you meet Usama bin Laden, invite him to Brussels or to the White House and engage in talks, ask him what he wants and give it to him so he leaves you in peace? You find it possible to set some limitations in your dealings with these ********, so why should we talk to people who are child-killers?”
-- Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2004 talking to foreign reporters about U.S. calls for a diplomatic solution to the conflict with the breakaway republic of Chechnya after terrorists from the region killed 380 hostages at a school in the town of Beslan in southern Russia.

They have done that before many times - it has usually been below the typical news radar.
Can Reddit be sued for the unmentionable damage they did to the Tripathis not to mentions the mental pain and agony. I am boycotting that site from now on - bunch of retards.

Incidentally, that is pretty much what the Pakis have convinced Unkil should do with the talibs.

This is a good time as any to post/repost this video of Putin:
Are there ongoing oil & gas pipeline discussions running through Chechnya. A destabilized Chechnya means US has a better chance of controlling a larger amount of the oil and gas which Russia presently dominates. What is happening now in Boston is directly benefiting the American oil and gas corporations.
Video of one of the suspect speaking in Russian that just came out.
Two brothers of Chechen origin suspected of staging the Boston marathon bombings, one of whom has been shot dead by police, are innocent of any crime, the Interfax news agency quotes a man identified as their father as saying.
‘‘In my opinion, my children were set up by the secret services because they are practising Muslims,’’ Anzor Tsarnaev told the Interfax news agency on Friday from the North Caucasus Russian city of Makhachkala.
Anzor Tsarnaev is the father of 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was shot dead by police in Boston on Friday, and his 19-year-old brother and co-suspect Dzhokhar, who remains on the run in the area, Interfax said.
‘‘Why did they kill Tamerlan? They should have taken him alive,’’ said the father.

Most likely after it all settles down it will have nothing to do with Chechenya and everything to do with Islamist rage.

Or re-inforce with a full approval to use Drones by all the states within US ? Ban pressure cookers ? Blame it on the cost of a single manhunt ?

That's correct. In the Muslim Caucasus region, Tamerlane/Timur is a huge folk hero, and is a common first name for everyone from Uzbeks to Chechens.
Dzhokhar is better spelled as Jhakhar/Jhahar - Cyrillic has no 'J' and uses 'dz' to approximate it, just as a particular Tamil/Malayalam letter is transliterated as zha/rha.
Edit: Didn't read past and notice Singha and JEM had already covered this.
