Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the government is trying its best to bring Dr Aafia Siddiqui back to Pakistan. “Despite the fact that governments must take stock of legalities, we are trying our best to bring her [Dr Siddiqui] back,” he was quoted by Express News as saying on Wednesday.
Don't these inbreds realize that trying to desperately get "pakhainstan ki beti" back at any cost tantamounts to accepting their state's role in supporting terrorism?

Is US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is coming to Pakistan?
Aug 23, 2018
WASHINGTON - The Department of State has not confirmed any possible stopover in Islamabad by the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during his trip to India earlier next month.
"In terms of travel to the region, no travel has been announced for the secretary beyond what's already been issued in media notes," an official told reporters here.
It is pertinent to mention that the secretary of state, along with the secretary of defence, is scheduled to reach New Delhi on September 6 to hold strategic dialogues with their Indian counterparts.
Earlier, in some media sections, it was reported that Pompeo will have an Islamabad layover to meet with leaders of the new government. On Tuesday, another official maintained that the State Department "does not have any travel plan to announce at this time."
The Khan, like the overlord he is , is expecting Massa's Pompeo to "call on him" during his stopover to and from Dilli . Massa is keeping the Pakis guessing on the chances of this crucial meet If , he ( Pompeo ) (and it is a "big if") does not come and "pay homage to The Khan" it will be very very big ( diplomatic ) slap on the Face Of The Khan. Will feed theories of conspiracy between US and India against Pakiland

What Might Lie Ahead for Afghanistan?
The Diplomat
Aug 21, 2018
By Marvin G. Weinbaum and Samad Sadri
After nearly 17 years of fighting and efforts at state building, Afghanistan’s future is as clouded as ever. The conflict has at best reached a stalemate.Much of our thinking on achieving peace holds that a decisive military victory is unattainable and a negotiated political compromise with the insurgents is therefore inevitable. As envisioned, steady military pressure together with Pakistan’s exercise of influence on the Taliban will induce its reluctant leadership to negotiate. In exchange for greater recognition of their beliefs, the Taliban in a power-sharing agreement are expected to accept the prevailing constitutional framework and the social rights and economic gains achieved since 2001.Of late, there is a growing sense of optimism about peace prospects, despite a new surge of violence. Hopeful signs include President Ashraf Ghani’s generous offer to the Taliban, overlapping brief Eid ceasefires, and the emergence of a nonviolent grassroots movement pleading for peace. Hopes have risen further with revealed back-channel discussions and a Doha meeting in late July bringing together U.S. officials and Taliban representatives to discuss ways to get formal talks underway.
Yet a comprehensive political agreement with the Taliban and the linked Haqqani Network remains at best a distant prospect. The senior Taliban leadership continues to balk at having the Kabul government as a participant in negotiations and insists on the withdrawal of foreign military forces. A dominant hardcore remains confident that with persistence, a restoration of an Islamic Emirate is achievable. It is a vision of Afghanistan largely incompatible with the pluralistic, democratic system still favored by most Afghans.
The prospect of peacefully resolving the Afghan conflict in a grand bargain hammered out around a table in Doha, Geneva, or anywhere, has never been realistic. It grows out of wishful thinking born of our desperation to find a way out of a seemingly interminable conflict and has kept us from seriously facing up to other possible outcomes. Absent outright military victory over the insurgency or a comprehensive political deal, what might then lie ahead for Afghanistan?
Four plausible alternative futures of varying probability and consequence stand out, only one of which is conceivably positive.
A pathway toward a positive future would involve a gradual, incremental peace process led by an Afghan government that is able to create the incentives needed to induce individual insurgent field commanders and their fighters to lay down their arms. This process of reintegration envisions over time their disaffection from core leadership and reintegration into the economic, political, and social fabric of the country.
In a second conceivable future, the conflict continues inconclusively and indefinitely, with neither side achieving a decisive victory. It might leave the combatants fighting over the same landscape, but could also result in government forces only defending the larger population centers and in effect ceding control of much of the countryside to the Taliban and other insurgents. This scenario presumes the continued presence of foreign troops and generous international financing, and that the Kabul government is not brought down from within by clashing political interests and ambitions.
A third scenario envisions the insurgency over time overrunning Afghan security forces and compelling foreign militaries to withdraw their forces and international donors to turn their backs on Afghanistan. This outcome could also occur politically when, from a position of ever-increasing strength, the Taliban agrees to negotiate and is able to dictate peace terms. In this scenario, Afghans, exhausted from decades of conflict, most Afghans, however reluctantly, would accept the restoration of an Islamic Emirate. At the same time, millions of other Afghans will be forced to flee the country, mostly to Pakistan.
Pakistan is fencing the Durand . So, it will be the not the same as before !
A fourth, and darkest scenario, depicts the collapse of the Kabul regime, whether from internal discord or the exit of foreign forces. But instead of the Taliban’s consolidation of power, this scenario sees fractionalization within the insurgency, the fragmentation of the Afghan state into competing ethnic and other militia groups, and regional country proxy intervention – all contributing to a bloody, open-ended, and chaotic civil war.
Pakiland wants nothing less than a Pro Pakistan, Anti India regime installed in Afghanistan !
Only by confronting the full range of possible outcomes and their consequences can we fully appreciate how much is at stake for the Afghan people, the United States, and the international community in the survival of the Kabul government and prevailing constitutional system. To cling to the illusion that a negotiated shortcut to end the conflict exists detracts from the importance and urgency of undertaking the critical reforms necessary for a reintegration process to succeed.None of this means we should not be open to sincere insurgent peace overtures. But chasing after the Taliban in the hope of starting a peace process is not harmless or cost-free. It conveys to our adversaries not sincerity but desperation, and to our friends, it creates false and ultimately crushed hopes.
And the US Dilemma being that Pakiland also "controls" the US Supply route into and out of Afghanistan !

EXACTLY! Pakis are all about scoring brownie points. Nobody ever calls them out on their thoughtless "offers".
QUETTA: Turning up the pressure for the implementation of the six-point agenda, Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chief Mohammad Akhtar Mengal has said if Prime Minister Imran Khan cannot resolve the issues of Balochistan, he should say so.
He expressed these views while talking to the media. “If he (Imran) cannot implement the BNP-M’s six points, it will be a hit-wicket for them (PTI government),” said the BNP-M chief. “Authority over resources should be handed over to the people of Balochistan as they are not asking for alms, but their right.”
Mengal said whenever anyone talks about rights, he is declared a traitor, adding that the history’s worst rigging had taken place during general elections 2018.
He said first of all result of the constituency – from where he was elected – should be scrutinised and checked if he won by rigging the votes.
He requested the federal cabinet to form an independent commission in this regard and reopen the results of all constituencies from where objections had been submitted.
“We are striving for the implementation of the six-point agenda,” he said. “We are declared traitors when we protest over mutilated bodies. Multiple graves are being discovered in Balochistan. This endangers the people’s very identity.”
Mengal said the people want to know if the missing persons were dead or alive and if they were involved in any subversive activities. “They should be brought to the court of law to face trial,” he added.
PTI MPA slaps ‘child molester’ locked up in Karachi prison
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker in Sindh Assembly, Dua Bhutto, has slapped an alleged child molester locked up at the Superhighway Police Station, reported a private media outlet.
The concept of Innocent until proven guilty is of course, "foreign" to Sharia, which reigns "supreme" in Pakiland
Last week, residents of Malir’s Khadim Goth locality caught suspect Fahim red-handed while he was trying to sexually assault a six-year-old girl. They handed him to the Superhighway police, but the police refused to lodge a case against the suspect on the grounds that the “parents of the girl had not registered a complaint”.
Taking notice of the issue, PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh instructed Dua to meet the family and assist them in the due legal process. On Sunday, she visited the police station to ensure that the suspect was arrested and a case was lodged against him on the complaint of the victim’s father, Naseem Abbas.
MPA behaving like the Mohalla Goonda . Taking the law in his own hands
In a video making rounds over the internet, Dua can be seen asking the locked up accused to “stay quiet” and then slap him from the other side of the prison bars
Power corrupts ! Absolute Power, corrupts absolutely !
Meanwhile, SSP Malir has taken notice of the incident and said that a report would be forwarded to the Karachi Police chief. He also said that a legal action would also be taken against Dua if necessary.
LAHORE: Since assuming charge on August 18, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan took his first notice on Tuesday, about to the illness of table tennis player Mehak Anwar. Mehak is suffering from cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. According to federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, the PM has taken notice of the news circulating on media regarding the table tennis player’s deteriorating health.“PM Khan has summoned further details of her treatment,” said the information minister in a tweet.
Expect more of these "concerns" from The Kaptaan , at least during the honeymoon phase. After that , ( after 90 days !)he may switch to his default "hands off" mode of leadership, at least IMO

Off to a great start: "We are not terroristanis onlee" .. Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman "disputes" the State Department's readout of Pompeo and new Prime Minister Khan's phone call today
( Per US >>>"Secretary Michael R Pompeo spoke today with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and wished him success. Secretary Pompeo expressed his willingness to work with the new government towards a productive bilateral relationship,...yada yada and alos raised the importance of Pakistan taking "decisive action" against all terrorists operating in Pakistan ..
‘No mention about terrorists in Pompeo-Imran phone call’, Pakistan rejects US state dept’s statement
ISLAMABAD – Taking a stand against American propaganda against Pakistan, the Foreign Office on Thursday clarified that there was no mention of the ‘terrorists operating in the country’ between a telephonic conversation between the United States’ secretary of state and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
So, if this is to believed things have NOT started on a right footing between the two Non- NATO Al-lies . If there is dispute ( because of Paki sensitivity ) regarding the words uttered, why not release the transcript between Imran and Pompeo and settle the matter ( just like the "upbeat" phone call between POTUS and Nawaz !)
“Pakistan takes exception to the factually incorrect statement issued by US State Dept on today’s phone call btwn PM Khan & Sec Pompeo,” FO spokesman Dr Mohammad Faisal wrote on Twitter.
“There was no mention at all in the conversation about terrorists operating in Pakistan. This shd be immediately corrected,” he added.
So, USA is "allied" with a country which has terrorists living on its territory
Earlier today, the US State Department stated that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo pressed PM Imran Khan in a phone call to take “decisive action” against “terrorists” operating in Pakistan.
Immy's version of the phone call should be elicited ASAP !
According to State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert, Pompeo also “raised the importance of Pakistan taking decisive action against all terrorists operating in Pakistan and its vital role in promoting the Afghan peace process.”
“Secretary Pompeo expressed his willingness to work with the new government towards a productive bilateral relationship,” Nauert said in a statement, adding that Pompeo wished Khan success in the wake of his being sworn in as prime minister in Islamabad Saturday after a victory in national elections on July 25
During the conversation, Khan emphasised the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the US and Pakistan on the basis of mutual trust and mutual benefit, and underscored the importance of peace and stability in the region especially in Afghanistan.
The relations between Pakistan and the US nose-dived after President Donald Trump in new year tweet accused Islamabad of giving nothing to Washington but “lies and deceit” and providing “safe haven” to terrorists.
IMO this frank and undiplomatic Tweet has really irked the Pakis big time !
The US Congress also passed a bill to slash Pakistan’s defence aid to USD 150 million, significantly below the historic level of more than USD one billion per year.
And POTUS has followed his words with action as well ( Shutting of the dollar tap obviously hurts.) No more "padding of NATO reimbursement bills", no more fictitious invoice for road building, no more drinking at the US taxpayers expense etc etc
Reports say Pompeo is likely to visit Pakistan in September and hold talks with the newly elected prime minister.Pompeo, who is expected in Islamabad on September 5, would be the first foreign dignitary to meet Imran Khan.
The SD today did not confirm that Pompeo is going to stop in Isloo on his way in or his way out of Nai Dilli . So, this appears to be a first casualty of Imran's policy towards Massa

Is it possible that pakis did not understand what Pompeo was saying? If the pakhanis are calling Pompeo a liar, then maybe the secretary should give toiletistan a miss?
Imran Khan issues instruction to all federal ministers
Aug 24, 2018
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday summoned a federal cabinet meeting tomorrow (on day three of Eid-ul-Azha) to discuss several matters of concern.
The premier directed all of his federal cabinet ministers to reach Islamabad tomorrow from their respective constituencies.
According to reports, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief will be given special security briefing, ( he is going to be "briefed" at the Paki FO !)while the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) will be terminated and the departments working under CADD will be tasked to the cabinet division.

Don't you recall all the qurbanis Pakistan has made to fight terrorism? The army launched operation zarb-e-asb and declared Pakistan free of terrorists. Hence there are no more terrorists operating in Pakistan. QED (Quaid-Eazam-Djinnah)!
“Even as adversity struck, with military pressure mounting on Pakistani troops, Commander FCNA [Force Command Northern Areas] lost his nerve … In a meeting [then major-general, later lieutenant-general, Javed Hasan] implored the others: for God’s sake, forgive me. I have made a big mistake. Now is the time for prayers.”
This Napoleon was one of the four architects of Operation Koh Paima, commonly known as the Kargil operation.
In her book, From Kargil to the Coup, journalist Nasim Zehra calls them the Kargil clique. Cabal would be a better word to describe them because, as Zehra says, “These generals planned operation KP [Koh Paima] less as intelligent and accountable strategists [and more] as covert, unaccountable campaigners.” [Typical Pakistani tactical brilliance]
Instead, as Zehra’s book title says, what began as a covert, unauthorised, illegal military operation, [every time it is the same story] outside the purview not only of civilian principals but also without the knowledge of the Pakistan Air Force and the Pakistan Navy and even the military’s own intelligence agencies, led to a military coup and the ouster of a civilian government.
But before that, the cabal had to handle the deep resentment within the army. Musharraf had to face tough questions. Hasan, the FCNA commander, could not face his troops. As Zehra mentions: “Internally … there was disquiet after the withdrawal. Instructions were that Kargil would not be discussed in any school of instruction … No courses would be taught at then-NDC [National Defence College].”
At one of these briefings, Musharraf proposed that militants [so militants and army are interchangeable terms!] scale up their operations in Kashmir. He also suggested that they be provided Stinger surface-to-air missiles.[400% sure that Pakistan's record of proliferation is impeccable! Aren't these the 'Afghan mujahid missiles'?]
The full extent of what had happened and the cul de sac in which Musharraf and his cabal had pushed the army and the country only became clear to Sharif when he went to Skardu’s Combined Military Hospital and saw severely wounded soldiers. The hospital’s commandant informed him that he was transporting dozens of wounded soldiers to Rawalpindi every day.[But, wasn't this a fight by "Freedom Fighters"/ militants? How could there be wounded soldiers? Sharif was “crestfallen and teary-eyed as he walked around and comforted the wounded soldiers.”
The only downside of the book is its editing. It is replete with typos, transpositional errors and poor syntax. Axactly! Probably this cow too has a plagiarized degree.

US State Department Transcript.
Covers questions on whether Islamic Terrorism was covered in the call between US Secretary of State Pompeo and Imran Khan Niazi as claimed by the US State Department or was not covered as the Foreign Office of the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan claims.
Difficult to come to a conclusion given the history of duplicity of the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the one hand and the other the series of stupidities committed by the Trump Administration on the Foreign Policy front, the last one being the claim of South African Whites being victims of racism which also finds place in this transcript.
Also a question regards US support when the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan land up there Green Kaaskol on hand:
Department Press Briefing - August 23, 2018 …………….
QUESTION:Hey, Heather. Pakistan is asking for an immediate correction to the readout that you guys provided this morning on the telephone conversation between the new prime minister there, that it is factually incorrect that they discussed the terrorists operating in Pakistan. So is there a correction, or are they wrong?
MS NAUERT:Yeah. So you saw our readout. In the readout the Secretary notes that he spoke with the new prime minister and expressed his willingness to work with the new government toward a productive bilateral relationship. They had a good call. That may surprise some of you, but they had a good call. Pakistan is an important partner to the United States. We hope to forge a good, productive working relationship with the new civilian government. My understanding is that the beginning of the call or the call itself was a good call and a good discussion toward our working with the new government and the new administration.
QUESTION:So the U.S. Government continues to stand by the readout, that there’s no correction to the readout --
MS NAUERT:We stand by our readout.
QUESTION:When you just mentioned the readout and read almost the whole thing, you didn’t mention the fact that terrorism was discussed. So are you saying that terrorism was discussed in the call?
MS NAUERT:I’m saying we stand by our readout. I don’t necessarily read an entire readout, word-for-word, for you here at the podium.
QUESTION:Do you know how it is that the Pakistanis could have gotten this so wrong?
MS NAUERT:Matt, I’m not going to speculate, okay.
QUESTION:Well – but, I mean --
MS NAUERT:And I can’t speak on their behalf. I can only say we stand by our readout. They’re an important partner. The Secretary had a good call with the new prime minister and we look forward to having --
QUESTION:Okay. So in other words, can you --
MS NAUERT:-- a good relationship with them in the future.
QUESTION:Can you just say, in clear English, there will not be an apology forthcoming, there will not be a correction?
MS NAUERT:Matt, those are your words. We stand by our --
QUESTION:Well --
MS NAUERT:We stand by our readout.
QUESTION:All right.
QUESTION:Can I get a follow-up?
QUESTION:And then real quick again on Pakistan, does the U.S. and the State Department and the Secretary still stand behind the comments the Secretary made earlier about an IMF bailout and there should not be one for Pakistan?
MS NAUERT:I don’t see that our position has changed in any way, but I’m not going to forecast anything that could happen in the future.
