Wheels are slowly but surely coming off the AAP rikshaw after the honey moon period. while all this tamasha is going around NaMo just has to remain the pillar of solid governance and leadership and people will see it for themselves pretty soon.

BJP mustn't do anything to form a government by breaking PAAP or any other mumbo jumbo the only thing it must reply if asked for is re election and full majority only then it must form government till then keep the r*ndibaaji going on.

Whoever in BJP decided to call crAAP's governance bluff is a "steely eyed missile man". Stopping his/her own party's ambitious people to form the government and weathering the propaganda by media led by IBN group wouldn't have been easy.
Now given enough rope, the anarchists probably wouldn't even decide on tea/coffee. No wonder this species considers SMS votes as a substitute for governance.
This mummers farce should go on, BJP shouldn't force any issue. Let it circle the drain few more times.

demons* in this case are the AAPists. They had anarchy as their motto - so much so that Kejriwal himself is miff'ed now others protesting with their anarchy. This guy is smart and as ex-CM of Delhi may hold some influence in future. But for now, AAP has run its due course.
So who was betting AAP to make 40-50 seats? After today's tamasha - AAP is going to be ZERO LS seats with full chances of taking away middle-class votes from CongIs. As Sheila clearly said "Hum Bewkoof hain"!

Too much of dilli billi ness in him - rotund with neta dress , frivolous and gruffy voice -
BJP must do some marketing research and know that aaptards (whom Bjapa should poach in enough numbers to win) are serious- idealistic- young of gen Y leading his batches of friends (those having less political knowledge) to vote for sAAP..
so get a young guy (to show bjp too has young leaders in its fold) in a buttoned up shirt and who has glasses and who looks and speaks as serious and restless for "change" as any young guy on the road

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
AAP is a gang of Maoists, anti-nationals
On January 9, five defence experts trained their guns at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress-led UPA Government. They included RSN Singh (former Research & Analysis Wing (R & AW) senior official) and four retired Army Generals, including VN Thapar, GD Bakshi, Afsir Karim and US Rathore. They lambasted the AAP and the UPA Government for their perverted views on India, their appeasement policy and soft approach towards Maoist terrorists and radical Islamists, including Kashmiri separatists. The immediate provocation was the display of the horrifying video of Uttar Pradesh’s beheaded martyr Lance Naik Hem Raj which showed the Pakistani barbarians displaying the badly mutilated Lance Naik’s head in a highly disgraceful and condemnable way. Earlier, in January 8, 2013, Lance Naik Hem Raj and Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh were martyred by Pakistani barbarians, including soldiers and Lashkar and Jaish-e-Mohammad operatives, deep inside Mendhar sector of Poonch district (Jammu province). Terrorists had taken away the badly mutilated head of Hem Raj and were rewarded with Rs five lakh by the Pakistani spy agency Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) for their inhuman, barbarous and abominable act.
The pictures were so horrifying that these defence experts couldn't maintain their cool during the debate in TV studio (India News) on the Pakistani barbarity. The debate continued for more than three hours. Reacting very sharply to the inaction on the part of the Congress-led UPA Government and Indian foreign policy and military policy vis-à-vis Pakistan, the outraged VN Thapar dismissed the UPA Government with contempt as “impotent and utterly irresponsible”. He bemoaned in a state of helplessness, frustration and despondency, expressing that it was a matter of shame that the Congress-controlled political establishment, instead of avenging the martyrdom of Hem Raj and Sudhakar Singh, shamelessly humiliated the nation by hosting a royal lunch to the visiting Pakistani Prime Minister at Jaipur in March. This, despite the fact that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had made a categorical statement in the wake of the Mendhar killings that “there could not be any business as usual with Pakistan.” He said many other things and catalogued several other acts of barbarity committed by the Pakistani Army and Lashkar and Jaish operatives in J&K after the brutal murder and decapitation of Hem Raj and Sudhakar Singh. The upshot of his whole argument, coupled with emotions and anger, was that India is not in safe hands and that the Congress-led UPA Government has tied the hands of the Indian Army and is wilfully demoralising this institution of a great national import.
Not just this, RSN Singh contemptuously dismissed the AAP as a “gang of dreaded Maoists and anti-national elements”. In fact, he asserted and reasserted again and again that Prashant Bhushan and many others in the AAP were a “part of the anti-India movement unleashed by Maoists and others”. “Drag me to the court of law if I am wrong”, he said, and added that “each and every word that he spoke was correct and based on hard realities”. He further said that the statement of seditionist Prashant Bhushan that “referendum needed to be held in the terrorist and separatist-infested Kashmir to know if the Kashmiri Muslims wanted the presence of Indian Army in the Valley or not and that if their verdict was not, then the Armed forces (Special Powers) AFSP must be revoked and the Army should be withdrawn forth with” was not an off-the-cuff remark. It was a statement made with a definite motive and his motive was to create a situation in Kashmir that helped the secessionists in the Valley accomplish their break-India goal. Virbhadra Singh demanded the trial of Prashant Bhushan umpteen times for what he called an “act of treason”.
The former R & AW official made a very valid point when he questioned the very credentials of the political establishment and the AAP, an integral part of the corrupt and minority appeaser Congress-led UPA, and opined that the time has come to call their bluff to rescue the nation from such dangerous formations. This writer has believed all along that the AAP, like the Congress, is not a party of the Indians and that the Congress and the AAP are working in unison to not only prevent the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi from occupying the Prime Ministerial post but also to wreck the Indian polity. I have always held the view that the AAP is nothing but a bunch of anarchists, rabble-rousers, bluffers, mischievous and anti-national elements who have connections at some right places in the media and within and outside India and it is supported and funded by hostile nations and organisations such as Ford Foundation, who are mortally afraid of Narendra Modi’s pro-people credentials, his commitment to the nation and his concept of India and on India and strong views on hostile nations and communal and anti-national elements operating in India at the behest of the foreign forces.
And, just look at the credentials of persons who recently joined or are in the process of joining the AAP and you would find that each one of them describes nationalism as a culture of violence and negation of the right to free speech. They include the ultra-liberal and highly biased Ashutosh (who left his job at IBN7 on January 9), Mallika Sarabhai, Medha Patkar – all ardent supporters of Prashant Bhushan and such perverted persons in the AAP like Arvind Kejriwal, Anand Kumar, Yogendra Yadav, Sanjay Singh, Gopal Rai, Manish Sisodia, Kumar Vishwash, Dilip Pandey, Sazia Ilmi and so on. I have no doubt whatsoever that those who voted for the AAP in the recently-held Assembly elections in Delhi would bemoan their decision sooner than later. Indeed, it is sad that the otherwise politically mature Delhi electorate failed to see through the dangerous game plan of the Congress and the AAP and helped them form an anti-India Government in the country’s capital.

Demonstrations, a Kejriwal trademark, now besiege the chief minister
Arvind Kejriwal lost his cool today when he confronted three different groups of protestors demanding his attention near his government's headquarters. "This is not the way to go about things," the Chief Minister of Delhi vented before walking away after trying to reason with the demonstrators, some of whom were shouting slogans against him.
The three different sets of protestors included representatives of unions for teachers and farmers who blocked main roads around the Delhi Secretariat for several hours today. "Aam aadmi yahaan hai, where is Kejriwal, kahaan hai?" some of them chanted sarcastically, asking for Mr Kejriwal to make an appearance.

AAP woes: In Delhi Binny, in Bangalore Gopinath
It was a rocky Wednesday for the Aam Aadmi Party. In Delhi newly elected legislator Vinod Kumar Binny rebelled against the party leadership. (Read) In Bangalore, brand new member CR Gopinath asked party chief Arvind Kejriwal to reconsider his decision to scrap FDI in retail.
Captain Gopinath is known as the pioneer of low cost aviation in India and his entry into AAP two weeks ago was announced with much hype. The party held up his decision to join as proof that highly regarded professionals endorse the year-old party's agenda.
"Why give Indian corporates a chance, and refuse the same opportunities to foreign corporates? It will create jobs. I think AAP should reconsider its stand," Captain Gopinath said, when asked about his party's stand on the entry of mutli-brand retail chains in India.
In a move that sent alarm bells ringing in the UPA government and Industry, Mr Kejriwal had on Monday reversed the approval granted by his predecessor Sheila Dikshit to international chains to set up shop in the capital, arguing that such a move would lead to large-scale job losses.
Captain Gopinath cautioned the AAP leadership not to 'work in haste.'

Aam Aadmi Party: From grabbing headlines to chasing controversies
MAFIA Queen, Ford Foundation need to move to Plan Z to defeat Modi
In their hurry to destroy Modi and save Termite Queen Bee, dumbos Yogendra Yadav, Arvind Kejrilwal, Prashant Bhushan shot themselves in their foot. From grabbing positive headlines a day to now chasing controversies with each passing hour, the Aam Aadmi Party's tryst with politics since coming to power in Delhi is steadily becoming a contentious one.
A day ago, Vinod Kumar Binny, the AAP MLA from Laxmi Nagar in east Delhi, was busy providing support to colleague Kumar Vishwas in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. On Wednesday, his entire approach to the party changed.
"AAP has lost direction, muddon se bhatak gaye hain," said Binny, who had incidentally also expressed his anger when he was denied a slot in Delhi Cabinet. He had threatened to expose his own party and has repeated the threat now.
But his party leader and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was unwilling to play ball.
"Pehle wo mantripad ke liye aaye they mere paas. Woh humne mana kar diya. Uske baad bole Lok Sabha ka chunav ladoonga. Mere ghar aaye. Ab party ne decide kiya hai ki sitting MLAs ko MP ka ticket nahi denge," Kejriwal said on Wednesday as the party tried to quell the rebellion.
Binny's outbursts came after danseuse Mallika Sarabhai, also a member of AAP, took on Vishwas for his supposed pro-BJP leanings.
"He compared Modi to lord Shiva. What else do you make out of this Vishwas?," she said. In fact an FIR was filed against Kumar Vishwas for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of Muslims by making objectionable comments on Muharram during a Kavi Sammelan (poets' meet).
Noted lawyer and Kejriwal's close aide Prashant Bhushan's controversial comments for a referendum on withdrawing Army from Kashmir and security forces from Maoist-infested regions of the country have also put the AAP in a spot of bother.
But what's causing immense damage to the party, which is already dreaming of being a prominent factor in Lok Sabha elections, is the manner in which its own leaders ranging from Prashant Bhushan to Vinod Kumar Binny to Mallika Sarabhai are squabbling in public.
AAP, the youngest party, has been bitten by the oldest political bug.
MAFIA Queen, Ford Foundation need to move to Plan Z to defeat Modi

Well when the target is the Aaptards on a discussion on relevance of Aap itself - I think we do (yes that's the social engineered fact as it stands today in gen Y - that all the politics are bad and that a revolution is required to blow away the old ways of politics).
So when such a make or break opportunity on Aap's credibility presents itself Bjapa must put its best foot forward. (No offense to rotund neta esque gruff leaders).
The debate is beamed from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and in primetime on AAP on IBN - it was a good chance to save/shave off those 2-5 percent votes going to AAP (instead of BJP) out of total voting in non Delhi urban India.
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
the fact that he is rotund or gruff isn't important. What comes out of his mouth is what matters. He should've been positioning BJP as the mature, grown-up alternative with governance credentials and AAP as agit-prop (agitation-propaganda) specialists who have no chance in hell of providing governance. Will Aam Admi party be called "Manga manidhan Kazhagam" (MMK) in Tamil and "Mamida(pandu) Manushya Party"?
Or is AAP - Aap Arrogant Party!
It is so easy to analyze AAP. In one news on DNA it was written "Major boost for AAP in Gujarat, Mallika Sarabhai joins AAP". Great! I know and said before that AAP will get ZERO seats in urban area and in Ahmedabad, Guj with Mallika Sarabhai joining in fray, it will do the impossible - get negative seats!
Let us face it, AAP is over. It was a media creation and whenever it utters something "positive" which media "thinks is revolutionary" immediately media like firstpost/DNA/all-sundry started trumpeting them like the lawd-gawd-saviour has come. Wednesday was so bad for AAP (Kejriwal Kahan hai slogans!!!) that firspost decided to give the royal #pappu primacy! And withdrew all news against AAP and went into a shell.
In the above Rajdeep's anchored snippet, Capt. Gopinath admits that he has not even read the manifesto of AAP and since they are brave against "corruption" joined them. Wow what an idiot! Does not read manifesto but as well admits it and is himself wondering which party did he join (with all the you-are-liar between Shazia and Tina).
Yes AAP will be on mind as long as the middle-class is tired of the "corruption". But that is it - once in a while it is an expression of angst and the Indian public in general is already recoiling with horror how this AAPists are behaving!
In the meantime Cho Ramaswamy is planning to launch "Amma Admi Party" - Enjoy:

In Mittal's defence - He belongs to the older set up, yes. But that does not make him a suspect for all times to come. Does BJP even have as many spokesperson as are required. Its ok that a supporter salivate for Su30MKI capabilities, but then Jaguars have to be put to some use too.
The problem (not limited to Mittal ji) - High Command structuring is there in BJP. A denial would be half the truth. The whole truth would be that BJP has in addition a strong Karyakarta base both in terms of quality and quantity, who can do make their presence felt. On top of that a lot of the senior management does listen to the lower order, that is how NaMo got into the hot seat. This fullness of the argument rarely gets expressly communicated and is left to be understood by the audience. The audience is a short attention span wanna be Aam Admi. So the spokesman has got to make an effort too.

All the party spokespersons have done a good job IMO. Among them I request Shri Javadekar to be a little more aggressive and clear. In the case of that video linked above, Shri Mittal did well to let the two AAP dingbats make fools of themselves.ravi_g wrote: The audience is a short attention span wanna be Aam Admi. The problem I listed was not directed at Mittal ji for this video. My bad I should have made that clear. It is a generic problem. Found even with the supporters themselves.
Besides what is also not observed is that the Delhi ki Rani-Meenakshi Lekhi has been so overexposed that there is a dual problem here too. While people love her even more, she herself may be feeling like having to expend too much energy too fast. There is still a 3 month period to do the job which will be even more draining. Others are also in the same dilemma. Loksabha Seats vs. MSM seats.

* AAP ministers had said they wouldn't use red beacons or lal battis on cars. But all ministers are using cars with VIP numbers.
* The party does not function democratically. Five people take all the decisions, Arvind gets angry if people expresses any differences with him. He is a dictator. If anyone speaks against him, he starts shouting.
* A Danish woman was gang-raped in the heart of Delhi and nobody from the AAP government was available to make a statement. If any other party was in power, AAP would have gone to town with protests over this. On women's safety, AAP should be ashamed. Its leaders have done nothing to provide more security for women, they haven't even started discussing it.
* Tickets for elections are not distributed fairly. There is a pretense of gathering signatures and then picking the best candidates. But it is a very corrupt system. If this man (Kejriwal) cannot fight corruption within party, how will he fight corruption in the country?
* AAP has betrayed its pre-poll promises. We said there would be cheaper electricity and 700 litres of water woold be given free every day to households. But there are hidden costs. Now families who use more than the subsidized quota have to pay not just for the entire amount, but are charged higher rates.
