^^^That sir has been the profile of every 2 bit dictator throughout history. That's the problem with these sort of people, they're either dictators or laughing stock. Some never give up also. By a stroke of luck some may even succeed eventually.

when funding is on tap, its better to found a lot of startups and be a noted 'serial entrepreneur' to ride the hype cycle rather than stick around, do the s*** work necessary to go from a concept to shipping product and then build a support org and engg team to SUSTAIN a co. but hey who cares, titles and bragging and network are all it counts to land the next gig.

New Delhi, Jan. 15: A party born out of a campaign for an instant Lokpal bill is balking at the “aam aadmi’s” demands for instant solutions and battling attacks from within, less than a month into power.

“Aam aadmi yahan hai, Kejriwal kahan hai? (The common man is here, where is Kejriwal),” the question rang out again and again outside the Delhi secretariat today where small clusters of protesters sat on dharna from morning to evening.

..
Outside the secretariat, the charge that the AAP was not living up to its promise echoed.

The farmers sitting on dharna in the Delhi cold said the government wasn’t paying them heed. The previous Congress government had scrapped the section under which farmland unused for three years could be confiscated, they said. “We are sitting in protest because even though this provision has been scrapped, SDMs (sub-divisional magistrates) are still harassing us. What is the AAP doing about it?” Dharam Pal Singh, a protester asked.

The farmers left after Kejriwal came out and spoke to them around 3pm.

But the teachers and the health workers continued to sit on dharna till late evening, unhappy with Kejriwal’s response.

The chief minister had asked the teachers to give him at least a month or two to sort out the issue. But served a notice that their tenure would end on May 10, the teachers wanted redress on the spot. Kejriwal said decisions could not be taken in a hurry.

“The AAP government was elected on the promise that they will give us permanent jobs. The chief minister reiterated this assurance last week from the secretariat’s rooftop. It has been over a week, but other than empty assurances nothing has been done,” said Preeti Dangar, one of the protesters.

Slowly but surely its seeping into the minds of many people that corruption is not really the issue. Its governance. With good governance there will be a slow but definite reduction in corruption. Modi will keep hammering this into the minds. Well done to BJP for not forming a govt in Dilli.

OMG, this lady is really taken aback, I dont think she expected Namo wave to take off in UP. I think she has given up on brahmin votes this time. Trying the M vote

Stressing that there is a need to form Dalit-Muslim “bhaichara” (brotherhood), she said the BJP can never form the government if the Muslim community unitedly votes for BSP.

"I did not allow any atrocity to happen on Muslims despite Hindu officers being appointed at these posts,” she said.
Slamming BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi, she said Gujarat CM has announced building of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s “statue of unity” only for political gains. “How can a man who failed to stop the Hindu-Muslim riots after the Godhra incident create unity and bhaichara between the various castes and religions of the country,” she said.

She said while Modi claims to replicate the Gujarat model at the national level, every third child is malnourished in his state and there was no anti-corruption body like Lokayukta there for a long time

Shouting a problem never helps anyone. It may attract attention but people want solutions and answers. This is true in corporate or NGO or politics. This simple fact escaped AAP.

Another AAP MLA backs rebel Binny, says what he said is right
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rebel Vinod Kumar Binny has found support in another colleague. AAP MLA Surinder Singh today said that what Binny had stated about the party was right but added that the "manner" in which the MLA spoke was "not right".

Singh was also quick to add that the issue was the party's "internal matter" and that it must be resolved "within our party".
Since he has a Army background (discipline is first), he is not that rebellious against his bosses, but at the same time he is not happy about how AAP is working. So at present consider him as 1/2 in numerical terms. One thing is sure, if Aprashant Bhashan makes some more stupid comments on Kashmir, this ex-commando may become rebellious.

India today and Indian express are trying to give a picture that BJP is behind implosion in AAP. My suggestion is that BJP at the moment shouldn't even touch CM chair with a danda as quoted some time back, as there are AAP monkeys all over with match box in hand.

After Binny's rebellion, AAP's Somnath Bharti in another controversy
Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti created a stir when he asked the Delhi Police officers to carry out a late night raid at South Delhi's Khirki extension alleging there was a drug and sex racket operating from a building in the area. "If the police don't listen to a Law Minister how will they help the common man," said Bharti alleging that the police refused to obey his orders.
But the state Law Minister, who has been embroiled in a series of controversies of late, found a strong defender in Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister. "What is the job of the police? Is it not to act against crime? We demand that the commissioner suspend the SHOs and ACPs in the area who failed to act," said Arvind Kejriwal.
The police claimed that a woman cannot be questioned after 6 PM in the evening, unless the case involves a heinous crime. It also claims that premises cannot be raided without a search warrant at night.
If police acts without warrant in Gujarat then it is a scam and if police in Delhi does not act without a warrant then that is non cooperation? :-?

AAJ Tak just said that another lie of AK is out. He had said that he didn't meet the Delhi Police Commissioner because he was out of town (in Jalandhar). It has now been established that the Commisioner was in fact, in town.

New Delhi: Delhi's new Law Minister Somnath Bharti acknowledged today that he accidentally named the Danish woman who was gang-raped in the heart of Delhi late on Tuesday night.

In a press release last night, Mr Bharti, who is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), revealed the identity of the tourist, which is against the law.

If it is against the law, then why no FIR has been filed against him yet ?

Maybe congress survey is showing that outside delhi, AAP is spoiling its party more than BJP's as Mumbai survey has shown clearly.

INC side.

Just wait for few more weeks. Congis will go to the town saying that "we said that...", anarchy and inexperience cannot replace governance and stability. Sheila aunty will tell us about all the flyovers and metro lines her govt. laid. etc. etc.

Corruption will cease to be an issue.

Just as AAP is more damaging to INC, when it unravels the INC voters will go back to it along with the fence sitters.

Maybe I'm pessimistic, but that what's it looks like, goes by the voting behavior of the people that call itself the educated middle class.

fanne wrote:what mumbai survey?
Well the recent nielson survey showed that AAP is eating all congress votes in Mumbai-Thane area and BJP has its votes intact. So the damage done by MNS to BJP-SS last time is matched by the AAP to Cong in Mumbai. So 4 way contest BJP-SS, MNS, Cong, AAP. BJP has the largest vote share and it wins 6 of the 10 seats in Mumbai. So now Congress has 2 options, force AAP to opt out of LS seats where they damage congress and make them contest only seats where they will damage BJP.

So something is cooking, maybe AAP did not oblige becos they think they are not just a noise outside delhi, but they can win seats on their own, But congress and their american friends feel these guys need to be cut down to size. So all this nonsense going on. Soon this will plateau and the result will be, AAP will only contest seats where they can help cong defeat BJP. But I dont think the number of such seats exceed 20.

Former CPM cadres flock to AAP in Kerala

So AAP and BJP will both split the Communist vote (even if they get 2-3% hindu vote that is enuf), to give windfall gains for Cong and its partner in Kerala. Game on. This is how congress will slowly climb back to 3 digit tally.

I am sure Namo knows this, but his calc maybe that vote for cpm=vote for UPA3 anyway, so let BJP contest the best and even if they win 1 seat it is great.

Slowly sinking into the old time congressi that the coup was by the higher ups against their interests. Also note the Binny affair. Binny is old time congressi. I expect more like him in the system would remain beware even as the ticket selection is decided. NaMo has a great opportunity to break up congress from within at the time of ticket distribution. But too late for everybody else now. BJP is now onto using its second movers advantage, while AAP and Congress have almost exhausted their ammo.

These people can gang up for an oblique objective. This is especially so because BJP cannot really garner a sympathy vote of the Congressi kind. NaMo and close in team should now absolutely avoid even the Patna rally like exposure if there is a terrorist risk.
