ALH DHRUV
Weapons integration on the ALH for Indian Armed Forces is being progressed to make ALH a complete battlefield helicopter. Planned Armed role comprises integration of Turret gun, Anti-tank missile, Rocket system, Air to Air missile, EW suite for army varient and RADAR, Sonar Sonics, Electronic support measure, Tactical Mission System, Torpedo Electronics, Anti-ship missile systems for Naval Varient.
On Armed Role for Navy varient equipping with Sonar, Radar, ESM and Torpedo has been completed and sea trials are scheduled shortly.
IJT
IJT is a tandem seat, trainer aircraft powered by proven and fuel efficient LARZAC 04 H20 Turbofan engine. The aircraft can fly at speed of 750kmph with an altitude of 9kms. The takeoff weight is 4500kgs which include a capacity to carry up to 1000kg of ordinance. The cockpit is configured with state of art avionics suite including active matrix liquid crystal displays for basic flight instruments, HUD AND GPS.
Other Tit-bits
The upgrade plan for Jaguar is in advanced stage of completetion and 2 prototype have already completed 22 flights towards certification as of end JAN 2004
Mig-27M upgrade of 2 aircrafts is under progress and first flight of prototype is planned early 2004
Deliveries of Upgraded HS 748 have commenced.
IF anyone wants the technical info on the PTAE-7 powering the LAkshya then let me know i will post it also.
There is a picture of SARAS cockpit (2 big MFD's with 5-6 smaller ones) rest everything is clean.
SARAS has also been offered for remote sensing, aerial research service, coast guard, border patrol, air ambulance.
Then there is a Brahmos leaflet that had a catchy line to it
shows a big Brahmos pictre with small pictures of diffect launch platforms and in big letter it states

Well the huge leaflet says that it was rolled out in feb4 2003 and maiden flight was to occur in june 2003

Nopes all it mentions is enhance reliability, flight safety and operational capability. I wasn't interested to know more, not much time to see everything at the airshow. I guess its more to do with navigational aid package and other tit-bits on the lines of upgrades for helicopters and jets.
