Going beyong excellence has become your second nature as far as aviation photography is concerned! I do not even know how to praise your work anymore. Really there should be an applaud button on BR forum just for your posted pics.kedar.karmarkar wrote:Thanx much, Shiv sirji, Rahul M, disha, sriman, Pravin, and Nachiketa.
I have uploaded the complete set of pics on smugmug - same link as before, more pages and pics though.

Hope this is eye-candy for everyone
Amazing work as usual! The Rafale shot is as good as any out there. But I really dig the lightning on the C-130J shot. The flare only adds to the effect.Vishal Jolapara wrote:Rafale Head-On at Dusk (HIGH RES)

Re: AeroIndia 2011
I missed Pavel Vlasov this time. His display was magnificient last time and his attitude is down to earth.

Re: AeroIndia 2011
I have couple of pics - the problem is the static display was cluttered - so no clear lines can be seen - I am processing the statics after the flying displays.
Re: AeroIndia 2011
I see. I really hope that you find one good shot among all those pics. TD-2 has a very unique paint job but unfortunately there is not even one good picture of it. The only good ones were taken when it was not completely assembled.kedar.karmarkar wrote:I have couple of pics - the problem is the static display was cluttered - so no clear lines can be seen - I am processing the statics after the flying displays.
Re: AeroIndia 2011
@munna Sir, thank you for your kind words, I do photography as an art form and this picture says so much. The vortex patterns in the trail speaks of the speed and action and at the same time shows beauty in symmetry.munna wrote:The lord of Vayu,

Re: AeroIndia 2011
pyogi, Not to wax eloquent but you recall in Avatar the protagonist rides the dragon and comes like a Valkyrie! That shot reminds me of that scene.

Re: AeroIndia 2011
if the outcome of of battles could be determined simply by comparing photographs, this one photograph of yours would've downed a squadron-full of Raptors even before you could spell Raptor - awesome doesn't even begin to describe the sheer awesomeness of this photograph - the pinnacle of beauty captured in all her glory
Did somebody say it is evoking poetic thoughts - totally agree

Re: AeroIndia 2011
Hey guys, some excellent pictures out there especially those by Kedar, Rahul, Woodsprite, photoyogi...
Where do you guys shoot from? I've always wanted to shoot from the tarmac and the other side of the field, but have never managed to get access. I've also never shot from the ADVA before- any advantages from there?
I'd love to hang out with you guys in the next airshow and swap notes...
I've put up some pics at

Hope you guys like it.
Cheers

Ditto. Want to shoot from places where there is no clutter and am not jostled by hoards of people - not conducive to getting decent shots.boban wrote:Hey guys, some excellent pictures out there especially those by Kedar, Rahul, Woodsprite, photoyogi...
