And these people are not even native Arunachalis( or is this mistaken). It's a Naga group. What the hell are they doing in AP? This is an attack on democracy, besides being an horrific act of violence. Will the Indian media stop moronically talking about Godse and Gandhi, and give its attention to this incident? Absolutely ridiculous.

In the extreme east, the southern part of Arunachal is Naga inhabited. (It is included in their greater Nagalim demand).

Then the 'squeeze' from the Myanmar border to within the NE should be effective against the NSCN.

Absolute rubbish movement, with no redeeming humanistic values to it. Kill people if they vote, oppose you, represent the 'state' in any way, or simply if you don't like their face.

China sponsored terror group .. looks after their areas of "interest" ..also curious as it is so obvious ..seems like some areas of NE are too hot for them.

Musa killing: Curfew in parts of Kashmir as protests break out

I can't fathom why the administration would return his body to the family? His supporters will build a tomb outside his house. Ship it out of the state and do a sea burial OBL style. We're handing over 'martyrdom' to Wani and Musa.

we continue the stupid policy of handing over terrorists to their supporters and a grand funeral.

bin laden was dumped like a dead pig into the sea. we must have a policy of just burying them in unmarked graves or cremating them.

ISIS boat reportedly sets off from SL, Kerala Coast on high alert
The Kerala coast has been put on high alert following intelligence reports that boats carrying 15 ISIS terrorists had set off from Sri Lanka to the Lakshadweep islands, police said Saturday, the NDTV reported.

According to highly places sources in the police department, the coastal police stations and coastal district police chiefs have been alerted.

"Such alerts are usual practice but this time we have a specific information about the number. We have alerted the coastal police stations and the police chiefs of coastal districts to be on alert in case of any sighting of suspicious vessels," a top police source told PTI.

The coastal police department said it was on alert since May 23, the day alert came from Sri Lanka.

"We were on alert since the Sri Lankan attack took place. We have also alerted the fishing vessels and others venturing into the sea to be cautious of suspicious activities," coastal department sources confirmed to PTI.

After the serial bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, Kerala was on alert, especially after NIA investigations revealed that ISIS operatives had planned attacks in the State.

The Special Operations Group (SOG) and the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) have arrested 47 people suspected to be Bangladeshis illegally living in different parts of the city. The arrest came following a search operation as part of the city police's efforts to beef up security in view of the upcoming Rathyatra in the city.
The 47 were arrested from Danilimda, Naroda Patiya, Chandola Lake, Ambika Bridge and Vadaj bus stand. Officials said that the all of those arrested are in the age group of 25 to 35 years and had been working as labourers and vegetable vendors. Some of them had been arrested earlier and deported to Bangladesh but managed to return.
Cops are also trying to find out if any agent has been involved in bringing them to Ahmedabad. An official said that agents usually charge around Rs 6000 to Rs 7000 to help smuggle people from Bangladesh. Cops are also trying to find out if any of those arrested are involved in any illegal activities.

India’s NIA team to arrive in Sri Lanka to probe IS links
A team of India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths headed by director general YC Modi would fly to Sri Lanka to probe links between Islamic State’s Kerala module and Lankan terrorist or their handlers, the Economic Times (ET) reported yesterday.

It said the Indian Home Ministry has given the go-ahead to the NIA to join the probe into the attacks. This follows Sri Lanka’s assent to share the details of the NIA investigations, officials aware of the development have said.

A top official at the Home Ministry has told ET that investigations have thrown some common linkages between the handlers of Sri Lankan bombers and self-radicalised modules in south India. “We were waiting for the confirmation from Lankan agencies,” the official said.

The federal agency had last month arrested a suspect from Kerala, identified as Riyas A. alias Riyas Aboobacker (29), who has allegedly admitted that he was following the Lankan bombers’ alleged ringleader Zahran Hashim and had plans to carry out a suicide attack in Kerala.

Aboobacker also told agencies that Hashim had radicalised several Indian youths in different parts of South India.

Assam illegal Muslim is able to enter service because congress delayed this NRC for decades. Of course many illegals are honest people. But his service can’t change the fact that he is illegal.

Given a chance, all illegals will be happy to join Indian Army and serve the country.

The media and detractors of India are running this (a)moral campaign to confuse Indians and no need to walk into this trap.

After all Pakistan and Bangladesh army too served in British Army along with Indian Army. That doesn’t change the facts of partition today.

When Indian subcontinent is United into Akhand Bharat, all Pakistanis and BDs can proudly serve Indian Army!

Ajit Doval to continue as NSA for next five years; given Cabinet Rank

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has been given Cabinet rank in the present government. This is in recognition of his contribution in the national security domain. His appointment will be for five years.

Last year, the government has set up a panel, headed by NSA Ajit Doval, to assist the National Security Council, which advises the Prime Minister on matters of national security and strategic interests.

Good move and very much expected, but can't but have a chuckle at the usual suspects (Mihir S Sharma etc) who were claiming that AS in home meant Doval's 'wings being clipped'.

In such a vast excercise of detecting millions of illegal immigrants there will be a few mistakes. That is to be expected. All illegal aliens declared can approach tribunals which are being set-up. This after 2 levels of verification. This is a pretty robust approach.

Yesterday, a mob went on the rampage in Delhi after a stolen car brushed past a group of people returning from a mosque. Situation is in control now. Till last night, Delhi Police had not registered any FIR of rioting, they said, to pacify the situation.

Delhi Police says the thief who was driving the car rashly could be an auto lifter named Shahrukh. The car has been recovered from Anand Vihar after the thief abandoned it there.

Mods which thread should we be using to catalog islamic barbarism acts?

Following should be discussed in urban development thread too. Development and protection go together. Even in state like Gujarat, local law enforcement against islamic element is lacking and FIRs are put on back burner. I can't imagine what's it like in other states.

from swarajya:
I'm still recovering from anger and exasperation caused by this report from Swati Goel Sharma on a mob violence incident that led to an innocent shopkeeper's death in Mathura.

Not far from the Krishnajanmabhoomi site three brothers were running a lassi shop by name Nattho Yadav Lassiwale. The shop has been around for nearly a hundred years, perhaps it was set up by the father and then inherited by the three brothers.

A minor argument had led to a woman bringing 10-15 men from her area to thrash the shop-keepers Bharat and Pankaj Yadav. The former died a week later his death caused by a head injury sustained during the mob violence he was subject to.

While thrashing the Yadavs, the mob appears to have derogatorily called the brothers as kafirs. The police appear to have been slow to do their job in picking up the suspects and we don't know if the Yadav family would get the justice they deserve.

Mob violence in the ghettos of Indian cities is fast becoming far too prevalent for us not to worry about. There was violence during Id prayers in a Delhi locality. A man was murdered with a butchers knife only weeks ago in another crowded Delhi locality.

How will we make our cities safe for the smallest shopkeepers, children and women passing by? Something we have to spend a lot of time thinking about and acting.

Recent spade of violence by peacefuls gets no attention here. We all talk about economy etc, but all vikas will be vanished without internal security. Either we nip in the bud with touch decisions and laws or allow it grow. We can celebrate 2047 ironically repeating history.

The recent spate of violence (by peacefuls in Delhi, but also by lovelys in Mizoram) is most likely a direct response to the appointment of the left's worst nightmare, Amit Shah, as Home Minister. They want to challenge him on the front foot. If he responds forcefully it fulfills their claim that fascism/intolerance are increasing. If he doesn't respond he is an ineffective home minister, and it's a matter of record that all this public violence happened right from the start of his tenure.

But he is a better chess player than they. Parkalam.

This thing is not new..back when kota was not known for IIT outside north India, there were certain pockets of "peaceful" areas. we always had some form of unlicensed shastra and astra for different kind of uses. In the glitz of those K serials, mobile phones those days been forgotten and crimes some of those things are yet to come but these notions of law and order are just notional. For those wanting a taste are welcome to go to seelampuri in Delhi too. Our rapid growth had most of us focus on prosperity and just ignore these things. Our parents were also saying us to avoid these things. But "one always meets his destiny". This is a conflict we have to have. I am of the viewpoint that it needs to be deferred till we solve the pakistan problem.

It looks like at least the violence in Delhi was due to a fake-news of some vehicle mowing down dozens of peacefuls while they were doing namaz, which caught up like wildfire.. secular media is behind this.
