A band of 60 syrians was attacked by a us jet north of al tanf..some 4 vehicles gutted or damaged
A pious stmt has been released that us is not looking to fight syria and that all kids focus on fighting isis ...while psst a sunni bantustan work in progress is birthed in the southern desert
Any attack by Iran or its allies on Tanf will lead to wider conflagration.
Us and Israel will never relent on what is Israel`s primary concern - No direct road link from Iran to Hezbollah.
If Iran or its allies do attack Tanf, US and Israel will probably widen the entire bombing campaign in Syria. They might also bring in the Gulf Kingdoms for an attack on Iran itself.

Mysteriously low level of resistance in raqqa vs mosul or even al bab. This could be over in a week.

al masdar news - ironic these troops were defending the backsides of the saudis in najran, who the houthis repeatedly singe with a burning torch.
BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:15 A.M.) – The Qatari Armed Forces have been expelled from the Arab Coalition by the Saudi military, Wednesday, following the suspension of diplomatic relations between the two Gulf nations.
According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), their armed forces left the Najran Military Base near the Yemeni border and the Saudi Airbase at Khamis Mushait, Wednesday, arriving in Doha later in the day.
Qatar’s Major-General Ghanam bin Shaheen Al-Ghanam received the returning forces in the capital city of Doha and honored them for their service to the Gulf nation.
This latest move by the Saudi regime comes just 24 hours after six Qatari soldiers were wounded defending a Saudi military base near the Yemeni border.
Qatar began its participation in the military operation against Yemen with 10 fighter jets, before pushing approximately one thousand troops to the country.

And I hope the Houthis have much better luck on the next attack, and overrun the base.

the southern riverfront of raqqa was left entirely open by SDF to entice ISIS to leave the place and head south to deir azzor and west to palmyra. sections of them did just that and are now swarming all over deir azzor looking to crush the place and RuAF is on the lookout for these movements anywhere east of palmyra while SAA is trying to break through their jinx at Arak - they have been to this place couple of times in past, only to retreat back to palmyra.
Ruaf need to activate T4 as a fwd base and station a couple dozen Frogfoots there to make a better impact.

boy Omar whose photo was widely circulated on CNN, BBC et al in ambulance looking dazed and shocked is in news again, he looks hale and hearty. His parents have claimed they support Assad and not opposition..
at height of propaganda some 6 yr old boy wrote letter to Obama asking to give asylum to Omar: while his tragedy was discussed by Obama with world leaders he was denied entry into US. http://www.news.com.au/world/middle-eas ... e9cbbe0993

Funny indeed , Must be the first known case of one enemy drone watching over another enemy drone.
There were cases in Syria of RussianAF filming US Drones in Air but case of Drone watching over Drone is something new.

Sadly his video was used Umteen time over Months to justify how bad the situation in Allepo was , Ammanpour was all over the place over it.
Now no one in Western Media is prepared to follow up on the story once Allepo had fallen.

looks like the iraqis are also fed up with this NATO play in south syria if the above is true.
PMU is rolling down from the north to Al Qaim.....another 100km to go across the desert....pretty much no ISIS in that stretch...its a matter of logistics, which are easier to arrange from across Anbar via haditha than all the way from north I believe.

russia does a good job on the maps. the grey blobs are where their recon has identified the main ISIS nodes. they do not colour the entire areas as grey. i can see qalamoun mountains, arak, sukhanah, salamiyah(east homs), khanassir road (south of aleppo), raqqa, mayadin, DeZ, al bukamal, ash shahdadi and 2 places i dont know.
