Tories giving up politics in UK cos of death threat from islamic extremists https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68167540
https://x.com/KonstantinKisin/status/17 ... 25220?s=20I don't think it's possible to sum up the state of Britain better than the fact that an MP has decided to leave politics because of death threats from Islamist extremists and his colleagues' reaction is to ignore it and instead claim "MPs must be nicer to each other", while an illegal immigrant who commits sex offences in the UK is given asylum after two failed applications (why wasn't he removed after the first two and/or after his conviction?) and goes to on brutally assault a mother and her young daughter with acid and the reaction from "feminists" is go on TV to talk about microaggressions.
I try very hard not to harbour hate in my heart for anyone but I truly and deeply HATE these people.
I hate the lying cowards who watched their colleague, Sir David Amess, be murdered by an Islamist extremist and responded by talking about "online hate" as if he'd been murdered by a tweet.
I hate the people who allow our country to be taken advantage of by violent scum who should never have been here.
I hate the people who are too weak and too soft to protect their fellow citizens after being elected to do so.
Truth be told, I hate them even more than I hate the terrorists, extremists and foreign criminals who take advantage of them and (because of them) of us.
Because the terrorists, extremists and terrorists are what they are. But these people know what's going on and are just too pathetic and cowardly to do anything about it.
A plague on all their houses.

If I am understanding correctly when he was a Muslim he was not given asylum. After he "converted" to Christianity they gave him asylum. This is the same nation where Bismillah Broadcasting Corporation, The Guardiban and all the other media were criticizing India when Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) was passed and asylum from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh was given to only non-Muslims.IndraD wrote: ↑02 Feb 2024 19:05 in a horrific alkali attack case in London: an afghani has left mother & 2 children with significant injuries and loss of sight. The name Saxe-Coburg-Gotha came into the British Royal Family in 1840 with the marriage of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert, son of Ernst, Duke of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha. Queen Victoria herself was the last monarch of the House of Hanover. Now Saxe-Coburg-Gotha is known as Windsor. The Crown Council/Global Deep State, which looted India of its hard gained wealth over 1000s of years during Britshit Raj, is in major thakleef due to Ram Mandir, please watch and learn from this YT ..

Remember these two scumbags were allowed to walk away scot-free by UK judicial system because life in prison would be too harsh.
British couple who 'arranged murder of their adopted son' will NOT be extradited to India to face trial... because possibility of life in jail without parole would breach their human rights
Well they are back in the news again. What does anyone say about Karma. I think it is time India withdraw from any extradition treaty with the UK. It only seems to benefit them.

Britons once built ships. Now we work in HR and events management. I’m convinced that one reason why we adore the NHS is that it remains a rare locus of expertise and hard work, where people do something that matters.
...
...
Once upon a time, the key unit in society was the family. Today it is the individual. The only principle we can agree matters is choice, though with the death of religion and philosophy, the range of choices that we can imagine has narrowed drastically, as culture and faith have been replaced by holiday photos and video games.
I’m with the philosopher Alasdair MacIntyre: we live in the new Dark Ages, we’re just too illiterate to realise how dumb we are. Harold Macmillan sat in the trenches reading Aeschylus. Rishi Sunak is a fan of Taylor Swift.
The PM wills Britain to grow, but being the product of a bland corporate culture, cannot explain why we should make the effort. To make the most of one’s talents, perhaps; to contribute, to enjoy responsibility, to pass something on. Prevailing against such optimism, the stuff that gets us out of bed in the morning, the green movement glues roads to a halt and predicts there won’t even be a tomorrow to enjoy.
In a culture saturated with despair, people sigh “I can’t cope!” Pharma companies say “You don’t have to”. And doctors write the prescription.
Rather than ask why capitalism makes people mad or unwell, we invite citizens to drop out of it. Rather than encouraging partners to make a relationship work, we celebrate them for having the “courage to walk away”.
And if you don’t want to brush your own kid’s teeth, says Labour, we’ll do it for them in school (that actually is a policy of theirs). Labour’s abandonment of proper socialism, that is sacrificing today for a better tomorrow, strikes a chord among an electorate that doubts society can remake itself and is gradually giving up on democracy.
Polling suggests young people favour a dictatorship. I don’t think they’re dreaming of Stalin. Rather they regard politics as stupid, occasionally harmful, and they’d prefer it to go away.
In a Deliveroo society where one doesn’t even cook the food one eats – let alone kill it and pluck it – we want stuff to be done for us, fast and anonymously. The ideal dictator would be a hard-working immigrant. “If you’ve enjoyed this military junta, please remember to leave a review.”
My point is this: it’s tempting to see Covid as the Great Disruptor, an event of such unusual force that it shook society to its foundations, and that we only need to pass some bills and kick a few deadbeats off welfare to put things back. But that’s wrong. Lockdown went with the grain, confirming the slow death of vitality in British life, and sending the state in to take the place of the engaged citizen.
We’ve been complaining about our work ethic for years. The baby glut has been a long-time coming. And Christianity has been ebbing away since the 1970s. We have a spiritual crisis, which is to say we’re a society without a motivating spirit.

So it is OK to publish the name of the victim without bothering if the next of kin were informed. But "protect" the names of the offender arrested and in police custody.A 24-year-old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday morning. Seven men, aged 20, 21, 24, 27, 31, 41 and 48, all from Reading, were also arrested on Monday on suspicion of assisting an offender. All remain in police custody.

They used to say 'cowboys and Indians" pejoratively when a project went south. Even Prince Philip made such a racist comment. I wonder what they would say now!
It also used to be said " if you pay peanuts, you only get monkeys in return". But in this case, they are being paid goldnuts and yet still end up with monkeys.

Re: Indo-UK News & Discussions- June 2017
How does a nation which has looted the rest of the world and caused a death toll of 200 Million in famines/shooting/wars in Bharat get veto seat at UNSC. Instead it has to be unceremoniously booted out from the UN and told to pay reparations to all the nations it invaded (no one invited these scumbags) - many countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and emptied their wealth and resources. These nations also faced huge death tolls at the hands of the Brits.
Re: Indo-UK News & Discussions- June 2017
The current P5 are the so call allied nations of the WW2.
That's why both UK and France have the veto.
That's also the reason why India will never gain a veto seat on the security council.
The UN is a failure. It's in the Indian interests to ensure that the PRC efforts to completely upend the global order succeed.

Re: Indo-UK News & Discussions- June 2017
When WW2 ended the victors were US (and chela Britain which was saved by the US), Russia and perhaps France. Global things were reshuffled, and surprisingly India was offered a Seat on the security council with veto power. This was turned down by our idiot-par-excellence Neverwho who thought he was a great statesman in the world (cannot be futher from the truth). China/PRC snu(i)ggled into the slot because of Neverwho. India has to pay for such a costly moronic mistake. Now, only China/PRC opposes reform in the UN security council and opposes India for inclusion. Ironic indeed!
Stating that UN is a failure is not the whole picture. Many good things happen but certain political outcomes decided by the P5 are in the direction of failure. The other thing that is happening is many small/medium nations are growing and becoming more tech savy. They see roadblocks in terms of funding, trade, development technology denial and other roadblocks. This is where India's Vishwa Mitra outreach is showing a combination which works.

Bala,
Nehru is deserving of a lot of criticism. But not on this matter. The offer to India of Security council seat in place of Chuna is a fiction. Therefore the question of Nehru turning that down doesn't arise.
Nehru did speak in favour of Bejing replacing Tipai. But that was more of a scholarly and legal argument. Rather than an act of generosity from Nehru.
If India was an independent participant in the WW2 as a member of the victorious allied powers. Then India was an eligible permanent member of the security council.
But because India was not an indipendent country, during the WW2. The security council seat was never on offer for India.
