SCOOP: Last year, the School District of Philadelphia encouraged teachers to attend a transgender conference on “kink,” “BDSM,” “trans sex,” “bigger dick energy,” and “banging beyond binaries.”
I've obtained exclusive videos from the conference that will shock you.
This is what's called grooming, and there is a reason why right wing is pushing this agenda and is using "woke " to deflect their sinister pedophile agenda. In order to understand the US, one must look into the pro-grooming culture propagated by the major party, some examples below will only scratch the surface. It has become such an epidemic that if you are a republican and if there is an allegation of sexual misconduct, now you don't even lose the election, at least the primaries.chetak wrote:is this why amrika became a soooper power
not posting the videos and risking a ban
and why and where exactly would these woke "teachers" apply such knowledge in their classes
and the hapless local taxpayers end up paying for such crap
Grooming is the only word for this

Despite his present image he has been in ruling circles since 1976 as a US Senator, VP, and the President.
So he is quite familiar with real politick and the agenda of the US govt.
Instead, we have glib one-liners!
And hosannas from the Indian media.

The above is a succinct account of the policy choices that the US made in Trade, Foreign Policy and Fiscal Deficit and how wrong they turned out to be with an added observation as to who stood to benefit from it.
One observation I can offer is that his statements appear to have seriously spooked the China lobby in the West.ramana wrote:Need some tight analysis of Biden's statements in Japan at the Quad 2.0 meeting.
I am a little unclear about what you mean by 'old capital ' and 'new capital'. If by 'new capital' you mean silicon valley entrepreneurs and their wealth, I dare say that indeed might be the case. But at a more subliminal level such a distinction is meaningless as Bankers substantially own silicon valley businesses just as they own the Fords and General Motors.Kaivalya wrote:nandakumar wrote:https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news ... -got-wrong

I believe that "old capital" pulls a lot more strings than "new capital". The culture of trade and associated advantages has been firmly implanted in the western psyche. For example of how trade and foriegn policy go hand in hand :
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/20/worl ... banks.html
In other words globalization was/is an execuse for other ends ( i am sure it is the case in mexico too) . I faintly recall a book "History of money" which traced how wars were funded in europe by bankers/banking family kings etc. Poor Mexico like other countries is just trying to take advantage of the cards it has been dealt with. The author makes his case from an American POV but has failed to credit 100s of Haiti like scenarios where it benefited the "old capital" folks.
While this author argues how American manufacturing suffered in detroit, a few weeks back Elon musk tweeted that chinese workers are not just burning the midnight oil but 4.00 am oil for advantages. Everyone jostles for space in the global economy, us stopped competing in the majority of the auto manufacturing segment like the UK did a long time ago - NAFTA or not
While foriegn policy and ultimately trade advantage/accumulating wealth is the goal, fiscal deficit is the inevitability of the current situation
Yes sir. True on both accounts. Only reason I made the earlier distinction was because silicon valley entrepreneurs might dwell on knowledge based economy, flat earth, globalization etc for market access while old capital works in the shadows and takes what it cannandakumar wrote:Kaivalya wrote:

Sen. Rand Paul held up the $40 billion Ukraine aid package that was signed into law by President Joe Biden. “No matter how sympathetic the cause, my oath of office is to the national security of the United States of America,” Paul said. “We cannot save Ukraine by dooming the U.S. economy.
“This goes far beyond targeted military assistance,” Hawley wrote. “This package treats Ukraine as a client state of America, a fraught relationship that will put us on the hook for financing the war and then the reconstruction.” The senator went on to call for repealing “a Wilsonian globalism that seeks to remake the world” and replacing it with “a robust, realistic American nationalism.”
More surprisingly, the president of the uber Reaganite Heritage Foundation stands with Rand. Kevin Roberts argued in a Wall Street Journal op-ed that “U.S. aid to Ukraine is about our interests, not theirs. And sympathy for Ukraine does not pre-require trust in Congress, least of all through yet another of its fake, frenzied, ‘must pass’ fire drills.”
Like Hawley, Roberts drew broader foreign policy conclusions from the debate over Ukraine aid. “Was conservatism well served by accusing skeptics of the Iraq War of ‘hating their country’?” he asked, referring to David Frum’s “Unpatriotic Conservatives” cover story in the Bush-era National Review. And in an interview with Axios, Roberts cast his lot with Tucker Carlson, Peter Thiel, the Kochs, the Cato Institute, and others seeking a conservative foreign policy realignment.
Since the end of the Cold War, whenever conservatives have started to have an argument over foreign policy, the dialogue was short-lived. Consider how the 1990s Buchanan presidential bids gave way to the nomination of George W. Bush in 2000, followed by John McCain eight years later. Similarly, conservative opposition to the Kosovo war fell to the desire for a more activist foreign policy after 9/11 and the Republicans who opposed Barack Obama on Libya and Syria were once again sidelined when Mitt Romney won the presidential nomination in 2012.

I want analysis from an Indian interest point of view.
After 19th Congress XJP laid down the goals of Taiwan integration and beyond He gave milestones of 2030 and 2050.
Now Biden is reminding XJP of the US commitment to defend Taiwan whatever that means.
Is it like Ukraine or is it like South Korea?
XJP has some near term milestones:
September BRICS meeting and Trokia meetings.
October 10th is the China National/1010 Day
November is 20th Congress.
In all these a key factor is relations with India.
So how will this play out?
By invoking the defend Taiwan card is Biden suggesting to, go ahead with Journey to the West?
I don't think that kissenger is saying anything new. He has held this position from as far back as 2014. His current position only acknowledges the current set of realities.ramana wrote:"Earlier this week, Kissinger told attendees of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that a peace deal must be reached between Kiev and Moscow in the coming months, lest the conflict in Ukraine spiral into a global war between NATO and Russia. To do this, Kissinger said that Ukraine must at least accept a return to the “status quo ante,” or relinquish its territorial claims to Crimea and grant autonomy to the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics."
So Ukraine War is also a crisis in US foreign policy. its breaking the consensus on Russia.
What makes Democrats pursue this policy?

Trump remains the only US President in the last 45 years to NOT have started a new war!
After Ron Reagan defeat of the Soviet Union, the US reverted to G2 of US and China. Bush Sr was cozy with the Chinese, after which Clinton sold key technology to the Chinese. Both Clinton and Bush Sr. were close friends despite the rivalry. A major number of key US businesses relocated to China for labor arbitrage during Bush Sr and Clinton period. G2 was firmly cemented. Then came Bush Jr who continued with the same policy. Ombaba furthered and deepened the tango. Ombaba, Bush, Clinton are all pals now. Trump was first US president to see China as one of the main threats to the world, the other being Radical Islamic Terror. He dealt with the later quickly and there was no more ISIS threat. China was squeezed during Trump era. Quite naturally China played a key role in the election for ByeDone.Isn't it funny that the man who was feared to start WW3 didn't start any wars.
Trump's fate was sealed on Wednesday 19 June 2019. That was the date he recalled US military aircraft already launched to begin an attack on Iran. On that date as late as 7PM Washington time, the Deep State was expecting a significant attack on Iran, as they had convinced Trump it was the right thing to do. He questioned various people in USAF and intelligence as to what would be the results of the attack, casualties, and what Iran might do as a counter attack. A last minute pull back.Pratyush wrote:Isn't it funny that the man who was feared to start WW3 didn't start any wars.kancha wrote:Trump remains the only US President in the last 45 years to NOT have started a new war!
which idiots interpret the above as permission to buy, own and use assault weapons that many country's armies cannot afford to possess because manufacturer's will not ship to them or sanctimonious gora govts will not sell to themThe Founding Fathers of the USA felt that citizens should be able to protect themselves against the government and any other threat to their wellbeing or personal freedom. The Second Amendment granted citizens that right — giving them the ability to defend themselves + property.

In my view Kissinger at Davos was doing Track II diplomacy for the Joe Biden government. The initial response to the Ukraine invasion involved a lot of chest beating by Biden Sarkar, which made the MIC happy and ensured big donations for Democrats to contest the November elections. Please take a look at stocks such as Transdigm Group, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, etc. See what happened to them in late February/early March.ramana wrote:"Earlier this week, Kissinger told attendees of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that a peace deal must be reached between Kiev and Moscow in the coming months, lest the conflict in Ukraine spiral into a global war between NATO and Russia.
