Ignoring the Kanadian politics (b'cad we don't care), what are the chances are the convoy party is partly funded by the XJP gang? After the Hua-way saga ended in October 2021, which saw its CFO released after 3 years of captivity under Troodoo, I'm sure XJP is looking for opportunity to settle the score...

Ottawa declares state of emergency over COVID-19 protests
The mayor of Canada’s capital declared a state of emergency Sunday and a former U.S. ambassador to Canada said groups in the U.S. must stop interfering in the domestic affairs of America’s neighbor as protesters opposed to COVID-19 restrictions continued to paralyze Ottawa’s downtown...

The Guardiban aka The Guardian had an article today criticizing the protesters. This rag similar to Trudeau and Canada was quick in criticizing India for getting a little bit tough with the farmer protestors and were supporting them. In today's article anyone who compared the double standards to their (Canadian government) support of the Indian farmers protest, the posts were deleted including two of mine. I am now on their semi-banned list.

I had posted this comment on The Star, Toronto's newspaper's comments section.
Let's rewind back to June 2020, less than two years ago. Covid has just started and everyone around the world was confused and were looking for answers. Shelter in place was happening in most parts of the place including very strict ones. Social distancing was a must as was mask mandate.

Around this time there was a rally by Indian farmers ignoring all Covid protocols. Those riots were disruptive, destructive, and caused major inconvenience and hardship to millions of other Indians. Trudeau, Canada, and Canadian politicians had no problems in putting their foot in the mouth and voicing support for those protesters.

Yet today these protesters are lot more peaceful and yet Trudeau is talking about using force. I guess different rules apply to people based on the color of their skin or nationality.

The Star (Canada), The Guardian (UK), The WaPo and /or NYT (US) -- all examples of left-wing crypto-Commie garbage masquerading as "news". They are slightly different, but yet the same at heart. All four of them -- same sh|t, different buckets.

And Turdeau, the snarky "mean girls" cupcake prances around on stage like a fairy queen. He's a phony, posturing fraud -- like Biden, but without the dementia.

State of emergency in Ontario -- why is Turdeau so hell bent on destroying freedom and democracy in Canada, instead of holding talks with the truckers to understand their point? So sad, western democracy is ded.

Why it will be over. Did he not won the elections recently. Unless his own party kicks him out of PM post it may not happen. He is in fact doing what the MSM and globalist gangs wants him to do. So they will support him unless something very bad happens.

Not necessarily.

With the kind of media coverage that is currently going on in Canada and US his supporters are focusing their anger on the Protestors not the government... In fact quite a lot of the coverage was about why was it taking so long for the government to arrest and detain these guys by force.

Bringing in the RCMP or giving them additional powers in this situation is still a decision that most of his base agrees with.
Jagmeet Singh and NDP is still standing by the government and unless they pull their support and Canada goes to an election in the midst of all this he's still fine.

In India it's the cops who run helter skelter and the protestors march to the tune of the grand army of the republic.
Can you imagine the furore if such thugs marched the streets of Delhi during the protests....

Canada imposed emergency, froze bank a/c, declared crypto n fundraisers as terrorist funding, is a “Full Democracy”

India tolerated protest for 1 year, held 9 negotiations, no frozen bank a/c or arrests n yet it is a “Flawed Democracy”

Explains credibility of 'Democracy Index'.

That's from 2014 saar, we all see how it all turned out. This is kinda why I've always thought that Khalistanis and ropers hold so much influence in western countries, not because they're politically savvy or anything, but because that's how the western states prefer it.

Had this been about "Hindu nationalists", western states would've made sure to get those members kicked out. But for Ropers and Khalistanis, we see the likes of Sajjan getting appointed as Minister of defense from 2015-2021 and now as Minister of International Development. Go figure.

What kind of a message does this sends to the moderate sikhs? And to what end of the spectrum would they tilt towards going forward?

Yes, that's why virtue-signalling is so fake -- just a brief mask to be momentarily put on in front of others.

We can see how Canadian lefty media resemble India's.
