AP BJP spokesperson Vishnuvardhan Reddy beaten with slippers on live show on TDP channel ABN. The person who did this is a Pro-TDP Amaravati dalit "protester" . Earlier before 2019 election, TDP people threw chappals on Amit Shah too when he visited Tirupathi. In AP, its like this - YSRCP is top dog. They beat the shyte out of TDP people like they did with TDP spokesperson Pattabhi Ram some days back. TDP cant hit back at YSRCP. So they show their anger on weak AP BJP which has no voice or street power in AP. TDP does everything to BJP people what YSRCP does to TDP people.

Things are only going down for the worse there apropos the abrahamization of locals, even steady changes to food habits are happening..

I saw a video where some reporter was asking locals in uttara Andhra about the Shri Ram idol beheading and attack on Hindu temples - almost 80-90% said they dont care and are extremely happy with the FREEbies given by Jagan govt.. I suspect AP is even worse than Kerala in terms of Abrahamic population numbers.

the reason is just not conversion of the abrahamics guys, but general greed and apathy. the people are generally well off with coastal areas having good water for two to three crops a year and now most of the children are settled abroad. People are either very rich or very poor. Very few have a sense of dharmic or other indic interests. its a constant race of one upmanship with respect to his neighbors/peers with respect to material comforts.

Most of the protests are but a thinly disguised support for their clan (be it CBN or YS Jagan). what can you expect when you can have the significant part of the state riled by by a failed actor (Actor Sivaji that goes around spreading rumors and half truths in TV) with anecdotes like we are politically active, we brought down congress, we voted against congress during the height of 1984 wave and so on.
the state has a long road of suffering ahead unfortunately. But i guess these are known to folks like you and a few others.

For some strange reason, Andhra Hindus have become extremely mercantile. Can't think of anything but wealth accumulation and recoil from any talk about their religion and culture. This is a dream come true for the church -- a vast land full of greedy people disinterested in who rules them. These people are going under, sooner or later
