BREAKING: “No hindrance at all on reporting entire proceedings or arguments advanced by parties or reporting upon contents of chargesheet & accompanying material in chargesheet”: Delhi Court says after Rebecca John sought removal of some tweets by Lawbeat in #DelhiRiots hearing

Rebecca John: Before case begins, would like to point out that sections of the reporting be taken down. I don’t know who these people are. A media house named “Lawbeat” has put up whatsapp messages. This is absolutely contemptuous. #DelhiRiots
Delhi Riots defense tried to remove proceeding and screenshots from twitter but judge shot it down

https://lawbeat.in/top-stories/breaking ... heet-delhi
A Delhi Court has said that there is no hindrance at all on reporting upon contents of chargesheet and accompanying material in the chargesheet. The order came after Senior Advocate Rebecca John alleged yesterday that Whatsapp chats between accused persons and the other materials from the chargesheet was screenshot by Lawbeat from court proceedings in its reportage in the Delhi Riots larger conspiracy hearing. She had also alleged that this was highly "contemptuous" and the contents of the chargesheet were yet to stand the test of law. Further, she claimed that personal details of the accused including their phone numbers were shared by Lawbeat in public domain.

This is the real way to grab the woke silicon valley scumbags by the short and curlies, who are working for the US state dept.

These anglo-saxons are mercenaries and mercantilists, as china has found out -- see all the white countries falling over each other to prove to china that they are better at skiing, while India sends a lone athlete from J&K to make a point (about J&K and Chinese illegal occupation of it).

Big Tech is either a platform or a publisher and arbiter. It shouldn't be both. Safe harbor rules should apply when the law of the land where the platforms operate are not superceded by platform usage terms and conditions.
This way, media reform rules will apply to big tech, when the BJP has the gonads to take down pakis like Shekar Coupta and the rest of the Pakis working for the Nehru clan.

USA says Russia/pravda/communism bad, white capitalism good. But the USA right now has Joe Biden openly saying journalists like Joe Rogan need to be censored for just having doctors on his show opine about COVID, and voila, spotify does what he asks and the likes of Vidya Kriushnan get to deplatform people who actually went to medical school and got an MD.

This is similar to how "statutory advisory' showed up on CDs in the 1980s after Tipper Gore and her vodka club managed to get a congressional hearing in the US govt. to "fight against indecency" (Detailed very well in Frank Zappa's ghost-written autobiography "The Real Frank zappa" by Frank Occhliogrosso).

So, capitalism can transmogrify to exhibit the worst characteristics of communism, like shutting down public discourse, except "western capitalism" does that by controlling the tech oligarchs who control information.

These humanitarians in the USA, who defend freedom in Ukraine, Afghanisthan, and Myanmar today are even more dangerous and competent than Pravda was at its peak, when it comes to propaganda. Goebbels would have grabbed his little black book to take notes from Anthony Blinken.

GoI better get their act together before reality overtakes them.

Seeing more and more veterans (and active duty ) officers in senior positions being very active on Twitter these days ... Which feels a little conflicting

One one hand they can offer a solid rebuttal to the usual Twitter nonsense and give well thought out and informative insights into geopolitics and defense ( For ex see HVT Sir's tweets )

On the other hand they have their own political agendas and seeing veterans having petty fights on Twitter leaves a bad taste in one's mouth not to mention leading to needless airing of dirty laundry in public .

There seems to be a coordinated attack launched from multiple companies social media accounts. Its not limited to Hyundai. Most of them Pakistan subsidiaries. The ploy seems to be to discredit these companies in India and make them lose business. Some of them like Hyundai started on the wrong foot with a vague stupid response. A wake up call for the companies that operate in Pakistan about the dangers that will ruin their business worldwide when their social media accounts are in the hands of Jihadis.

Facebook, Instagram block handles of Chinar Corps
SRINAGAR: Facebook and Instagram have blocked the handles of Chinar Corps, the Indian Army's strategically located formation in the Kashmir valley, for over a week now and have not responded to the official communication in this regard, officials said on Tuesday.
The pages on Facebook and Instagram were created to negate the lies and propaganda flowing from across the border and also to apprise people of the real situation in the Kashmir valley, an official said.
A senior official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the matter had been taken up with the authorities concerned in Facebook, but so far there has been no response from their side.

Been seeing this image a lot, lots of indian sounding handles re-tweeting it. How have people not realized that this is an obvious troll? For starters "@CNNUKR" isn't even a verified handle and is currently suspended.

Also if you just look at the name of the alleged journalist who died, "Bernie Gores", it gets even more obvious. "Bern nieGores", it's a twitch lvl troll.

I am seeing several whatsapp fwds (videos) of students complaining govt is doing nothing, can't get in touch with embassy, embassy officer disconnecting phone?

Also several videos in youtube from like of NDTV playing up the plight of students - who say they can't go to the border?

Seems like latest version of "toolkit" is being deployed?

I don't think this has reached the "tool kit" levels. It is just a case of selective reporting which the presstitutes do every other day. It was more of an expected move from the presstitutes. One thing; the folks who go to Ukraine are not poor or poorest of poor kind of category. Most of them are rich brats. Many do their medical courses there because they cannot get a seat in India on merit. Yet you can see whines on social media of GoI charging money for their tickets or not providing enough support etc. These are whines from a crowd who have a sense of entitlement.

One thing I have noticed; the average Indian citizen still expects a lot of things to be done for free . Every thing has to be given on a platter, but no one should demand money. They do not know that money is a limited commodity. There has to be some one who has to pay for any service. I think this "give every thing free of cost" theory was peddled as "socialism" in India.

Reddit has quarantined r/Russia due to misinformation
Reddit has quarantined subreddit r/Russia due to misinformation, as the internationally condemned Russian invasion of Ukraine continues into its sixth day. r/RussiaPolitics has also been quarantined, just days after it was created in order to host invasion-related discussions.

Quarantined subreddits don't show up in searches, recommendations, or feeds in which a user hasn't specifically included them (such as r/Popular or r/All). Further, anyone who finds their way to a quarantined community is shown a warning regarding the content, which they must acknowledge in order to access it.
Hopefully it's randias turn next

@lotophagus

They say "No one from embassy contacted us" when they've been ignoring the embassy for 3 weeks. With skeletal staff, how can they call each Indian esp when they've to prepare to send y'all home from 3 different border countries? I understand panic but this is a bit much.

Just wanted to post this about India evacuating students from UKR. a couple of cabinet ministers have also spoken to them on their arrival.

watch from 53.30 for the actual video and also the usual point that students with Indian flags are being allowed easy access.

there is another video by Ajeet Bharati that actually speaks about trolling of the students and the govt and asks people to refrain from passing judgements/comments. Speaks also why we need to pa money for flights or what are the dangers in flying to war zones - lists them briefly.

All the rona dhona is from the usual suspects that don't have any love for <students> ( you can insert any group here that these vested interests campaign for whether its woman rights, minorities, fee structure or anything else). the govt is doing what it can do best in current circumstances with war actually raging on and Russia in a particularly foul and punishing mood.

the usual campaign is shout hoarsely and make shrill noises while not really showing any workable solutions themselves. there has been recent news of an Indian student as a casualty in Kharkiv, need to wait till there is official acknowledgement and confirmation.

I was just pointing to how absurd it is. The girl has nothing to do with those students miles away but was whatsapping the embassy official on the matter and expecting a personal response from him in such times.
