The issue for KCR is that he always promises something with elections in mind and after elections are won it is put on a back burner.
After 2014 elections with KCR who went back on his words that he will merge his party into Congress if new telangana is given and also make a dalit guy CM when fighting with his party only to take the CMship himself. It is the same thing with dalit bandhu scheme, high rise buildings in tankbund areas, new hospitals, and many more that are announced with fanfare and they fade out after 3-4 months later.
eh, the old adage of democracy would apply true in this case then, the public deserves the party / leader it elects, if the public feels that kcr is only tall tales, they will vote accordingly, but then the question would be who would be voted instead, i do not know the disposition of the tpcc, but it would seem like a 2 way fight between brs and inc for the scheduled votebank and a 3 way fight between brs, inc and aimim for the minority appeasement politics
The old adage is true Saar, and voting in democracy ensures that people who are well informed make their own decisions come election time. But this process has been sidelined a bit with local media focusing only on negatives or positives depending on which party they are batting for. KCR, the head honcho of TRS has made sure that there was/is no opposition to him which presents us with present conundrum where the congress is not strong enough to be seen as a direct challenger or the BJP not having risen to the position of the opposition. When the congress was strong he essentially "bought" their mla's into his party after 2018 election and when BJP was looking to get stronger, KCR tried propping up the near dead congress. (It was seen during the byelection for Etala rajender seat and Rajagopal reddy's munugode byelection).

The TRS undertook quite a few schemes after coming to power in 2014 that proved beneficial to the state of telangana, like providing farmers with money per acre on the top of what the Central govt was providing (ofcourse all of them are repackaged and having KCR's photo), giving the poshak abhiyaan scheme for newly expectant mothers, providing tap water to households (this was modelled on PM Modi's work during his tenure as Gujarat CM), or building small lakes for water storage like Fadnavis's Jal shivir and building canal system for improving the total acreage under farming.

But as the time went by the poll promises have gotten more grandiose and bordering on ridiculous. Just a year ago they brought in "dalit bandhu scheme" where every dalit family was to be given 10 lakhs in their bank account. But the govt doesn't have the money to give everyone, so riders were attached like the local DM would monitor the usage and money can only be withdrawn if the govt approves it or some such. that also has caused resentment as the money in your account cannot be used. There are the others where KTR (KCR's son) had promised to clean up the hyderabad sewage system as with every season of rains the city becomes a mini pond, but that disappears after period only to be brought back when the next time it rains. The TRS party rank and cadre behaving like TMC lite with respect to the opposition hasn't helped either.

By the looks of it it looks like Congress is trying to consolidate the minority votes to their cause and then use NGO's like they did in Karnataka to win and if they are successful they will try to replicate it all over India.

The BIF are solidly backing the powers that be in andhra as well. Their dravidian eelam project, especially after the ltte debacle, that was to have taken a slight detour and re emerge like the invigorated phoenix after being replanted in TN to take root in more salubrious climes, has now hit a major roadblock in the form of the fast awakening majority, and also, it has been hit majorly by a set of forces that are not easy to deal with unless the govt at the centre is regime changed and the erstwhile pax romana returns, so to speak

So the BIF are now pushing the andhra narrative since they have been cock blocked in TN and the sister has moved to telengana and there she has joined up with the congis. The congis are in serious need of vitamin M whereas the andhra lot are sitting very pretty, cash wise.

If the pax romana mafia is routed in 2024, the BIF may look for a new leadership not from the mafia bloodline. the only two options are the ricebag dravidian or ricebag reddy, and each has one state under his control

telengana, AFAIK, thus far, does not have a significant BIF interest presently but with the sister moving base to telengana, the BIF may be spreading their wings to further their agenda.
chetak saar,
thank you for the response, seems like tg is schduled + mohemeddan clay, and has comparatively lower ej activity there than that compared to andhra, this may actually become the first rol vs rop political heft fight in the mainland, apologies to the xtian and bd fundoos in the ne, while in kl all the 3 groups have joined hands to sing ring-a-ring-a-roses

The centre is going after the dravidian support base in SL and has also actively undercut the dravidian narrative being pushed from TN. By cleverly working with the GoSL, and by providing billion$ for the support of the SL state, they are able to do many things specifically for SL tamils, things that the TN BIF backed dravidians always wanted to do but were cock blocked by the wary sinhala.

The centre's financial and material support for SL, including running interference to tame the intransigence of the WB and the IMF has calmed the sinhala. The sinhala see that the GoI and the GoSL share common enemies.....
true sir, but all the 3 nations of nepal, sl and bd are in constant competition to prove to the world which is the most butthurt by india's actions, sl might have tempered down now with 0 monies in the pocket and a wealthy neighbour to leech off to, but we all remember the smug near daily headlines of best performing economy / polity / sustainable eco friendly ityadi in sooth asia by the sinhala, as soon as they see the money on the horizon again they will again start behaving like the obnoxious rent-boys that they are.

in the seethe leaderboard, its a tough call between nepal and bd, atleast in nepal we can count on the madheshi support and pacify the society, kanglus with their begging bowls and unlimited individual ration of burnol might just take the award for the foaming-at-the-mouth mass hysteria competition

saar,

Let's hope that it will not be the congis who cross the finish line.

If they do, then a fuse could be lit with abrahamic consolidation firming up in multiple states leading up to and beyond 2024.

the gaddars will not win but may well end up weakening the current ecosystem which is also a goal of the BIF to limit, dilute, and water down the victory margins to hobble Modi outside of India, and thin out the reach of the majority in local environs (CAA and UCC)

Therefore, it may be best if the dotty India gang were to be prevented from achieving a critical cohesive mass so as to splinter the traditional jihadi vote banks (which is showing some signs of rallying behind the congis) and thus neuter the congis at the very start of the race....

pappu will likely contest from wayanad because the jamat controls a solid 35+% of the vote bank there and foolish HINOs will pitch in to provide the rest

Atmavik ji,

BJP does not have much traction in TG, so they see no point in expending resources and also waste the time of star campaigners.

The BJPs time will come, but first they need to build their TG vote share

They are playing a different game here so they are visible in the arena.

Bandi sanjay kumar has been shifted with good reason so as to "unruffle" some of the feathers that he had legitimately ruffled. There are wheels within wheels......

In KER, the BJP has no tangible traction but it is working to build its vote share, just like it is doing in TN.

Any stray seats the the BJP may garner in TG and TN will be a bonus and in both states, they know very well that they are not in the running to form the govt

increased vote share for the BJP in these states will result in the gradual breaking of the stranglehold that certain dominant forces are exerting on the majority community to keep themselves, the incumbents, in power without accommodating any of the concerns of the majority, and the BJP, thus hopes to build acceptability for a different narrative, to try and shift the overton window

The BJP foot is uninjured and safe.

Listening to pro-BJP channels, don't have a good feeling about MP

Looks like RJ is clean sweep.
MP is probably INC. CG is INC though at reduced margin.

If TG goes to INC, the propaganda channels/BIF channels and Sate Dept will go full regime change campaign with PAPPU as head.

Keeping my fingers crossed ...

Best results for BJP

RJ - full
MP - scrape thru
CG - cut deficit
TG - Show 20+ seats

One thing is BJP lags behind INC ecosystem very badly in SM (Instagram/youtube/Reels)

I have been listening to this for last 7-8 years. What the hell they are doing to change this

Looks like even BJP candidates believed that crap and were not campaigning seriously in CG ...

Whichever way the results turn out, what's clear is that #CongressMukthBharat is a couple of decades away!

My biggest fear (since 2014) has been that BJP/Modi will slog for 2 terms to fill the coffers, only for Congress to come back offering freebies and loot everything away

We are still largely a nation of freebie-beggars and there is no bottom to that well. The harder Modi works to make us prosperous, the more freebies Congress can offer & the more greedy the people get

Disgusting!

Secular news papers are also stating that there are chances of BJP to scrape through in MP and RJ. They are sure shot of Congress victory in JH and TS.

The Indian society is not homogenous and chances of it becoming one are also pretty much rare. The British exploited these gaps the best way, and passed the baton to the Congress party. Now homgenising the Indian society, and make every person proud of the country, and value hard work - is next to impossibility. At times I feel Bharath/India is destined to be ruled by foreigners or foreign backed up agents for the future. We can talk about Indian kings who established empires in far away places; but that was all when the situation at those places were far worse than what was there in India.

Congress Mukt Bharat is not very far away. It will come the moment mafia queen kicks the bucket.

But the Congress addiction of Hindus is repulsive. It is as if they have lost the ability to think (exact words of Sri Aurobindo when he saw Gandhi worship of Hindus)

In my mind - Hindus will elect BJP for 1-term make progress and then CONgress will return to loot for couple of terms - cycle continues. Modi broke the cycle by winning twice. Third time will be a coup of sorts and a deep body blow to the CONgress ecosystem. But by no means CONgress mukt bharat. A substantial section of the society lives off the loot - that is just the way of life in India.

AAP has made electricity free in Punjab.
That state has the highest debt in the entire nation and nobody bats an eyelid.

As someone stated above, Modi and Vajpayee will come for 1/2 terms and put the country in 3rd gear working hard day and night.
The moment Congis come to power they will put the vehicle in nuetral and then reverse.

In fact historically its proven that Congress's horrible rule over just couple of months from now onwards towards March 2024 will build up enough anti-incumbency to tilt it in BJP's favor. Amazing that how hard it is to convince Hindus to see which side their bread is buttered and vote for BJP. They are addicted to voting for anti-Hindu parties and cannot think beyond the local politician of their area.

Don't underestimate the power of constant lies that are saturating the feeds of an ordinary person.

They are extremely vehement and aggressive.

BJP may have been an expert in social media games once upon a time.

But today, it's Congress ecosystem, coupled with so called wannabe educated class. Plus the cast vote banks.

Not true. Hindus want the most Hindutva govt they can get. But instead what they get from BJP is corrupt and irresponsible people at the helm. There are exceptions to this. Gujarat changed under Modi. There he gave the people what they want. People are electing them again and again because ideology is not compromised. U.P will follow same trend as long as Yogi is there as CM or someone similar who can deliver Good Governance and Hindutva together as a package. BJP don't change the incapable leadership as people expect them to be. Most election results are a result of that. Also till very recently local Congress leadership in many of the states were more or less like BJP leaders. In Sai Deepak's words BJP do have Naram Dal and Garam Dal. People like Garam Dal who can deliver good governance. If they ensure such ground level leaders rise in the party, victory in elections are assured.

That's because, the entire Muslim community is conditioned to see the world as an us v them equation.

Hindu community is not.

The following paraphrased quotes is attributed to Churchill, "the time the Hindu spends sharpening his argument, the Muslim spends sharpening his sword"

RJ sentiments were extremely high for BJP a month before elections and looked almost one-sided. Even Gehlot seemed down. But his programs for women seems to have earned him women votes. MP was always close but looks like BJP has done better based on exit polls. Best outcome for BJP would be to win both, support BRS from outside in TG, form alliance govt in Mizoram and hung in Chattisgarh.
