From what I have read on Twitter. This order from SC ultimately would not be able to prove what the "seculars" want to prove. SC has asked SBI to prepare two lists.
1. List of people who purchased electoral bonds.
2. Amount generated by each political party via redeeming electoral bonds.

The crucial link still cannot be established. Who purchased a specific electoral bond, and which party redemeed that specific electoral bond and took the money. So if "seculars" want to know how much Ambani & Adani paid BJP, they will not be able to conclusively prove it. We may also see a situation that some of the "seculars" may have redeemed more bonds than the BJP.

The Election Commissioner resignation is bit murky. That post has to be filled up, and only then Lok Sabha elections can be announced. This will also give some time for BIF to try to cause some ruckus like the farmer broker gang tried recently in Haryana border.

Centre to notify Citizenship (Amendment) Act on March 11: Reports
PM Modi to address nation at 5:30 pm; CAA rules likely to be notified.
There would be another whine fest in social media now. And sooner or later the raves & rants would be against Hinduism as a religion, which would even irritate fence sitters (or semi-seculars).

The EC (who resigned) was put in place after he resigned from his service several days before his retirement. The next day after his resignation, he was immediately appointed to EC.

The so-called "opposition" took GOI to SC over this appointment. SC did not find anything wrong except gave some strictures to GOI to loop in leader of opposition.

So GOI created a new rule where PM + LOP + an appointee of PM will be the committee that appoints the EC.

At this stage with the second EC resigning and the third EC position not filled up, if the EC announces the dates of election, no-one can appoint additional ECs to ECI. All of this is causing backside-burn in one political party in East.

Couple that with the notification of CAA.

Agni-5 MIRV Test | Divyastra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 11 announced India's first test-launch of a nuclear-capable missile with MIRV technology which allows a single missile to launch multiple warheads for hitting several targets at once.

PM Modi posted on social platform X, "Proud of our DRDO scientists for Mission Divyastra, the first flight test of indigenously developed Agni-5 missile with Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology."

Rest assured that, as usual, the missile's range is definitely under stated

CAA notified, but the underlying law is deficient. If you are expending so much political capital, why do you need to restrict it to those who came to India before Dec 2014 ?

^ Srin, look at the gazette notification. And the process of application under CAA. There was some political football around dates. Prior to 2014 the previous CONgoon govt. delayed their approvals. After 2014 the current government is passing it at a faster clip. The CAA resolves it all the way from 1947 to 2014.

Now in 1971 and post 1971 there were millions who came and still are not considered official citizens. This will help them.

Perhaps, this is an effort to bring about one nation and one election. As the Haryana assembly elections are to be held by the end of the year.

Alternatively, this is an attempt to finish JJP by having assembly elections at the same time as the national elections. This has the theoretical benefit of catching other political parties unawares for what is going to be most important election for most of them.

It's about gaining and retaining political initiative.

Liked this. Khattar resigns and just as the replacement engine driver boarding the loco, Nayab Singh Saini is on the loco 8). This swiftness gives a feeling that this was a well orchestrated move. And M.L Khattar is now an LS MP candidate as well. Dushyant Chauthala seems to be the 'fall guy' this time.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch.........

The Deputy CM of Telangana, Bhatti Vikramarka, was forced to sit on the floor in Yadadri Temple, while other ministers and CM @revanth_anumula were sitting on chairs.

Why subject the Deputy CM to such blatant discrimination, solely because he belongs to the Dalit community?

Congress, the self-proclaimed messiah of Dalits, shamefully disrespected the Dalit Deputy CM.

and, no mention of the dimwit dynast's caste census agenda.....

srin ji,

there is already a reverse polarization of the non jutts, whom the BJP has cultivated. Khattar saab has done a good job and has not lost any electoral contests in the last 9.5 years, starting from the panchayat level onwards

they non jutts have an almost 70% say in a majority of places

It looks like Operation Lotus has already been in long term play

SC to hear pleas challenging the Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners Act, 2023 on March 15
Looks like BIF is taking out its weapons one by one. This would be the back door entry for Supreme Court (who don't have a transperent selection process) to get into the affairs of the executive.

There was no specific law for the appointed ECs till this law was made. As there was no law earlier, SC got a chance to make a judgement. The process provided now is the same process for many independent authorities. If SC stays this now, the GoI will not appoint any EC now. So the person who is there will now conduct elections.

There are lots of trolls on this in Malayalam social media groups . CPI itself is a "party without cadre", with Daniel Raja and Annie Raja running it as a mom & pop shop. As it is CPI is given very few seats in KL to contest. They are non-entity in rest of India. The joke is that people are asking Annie if she wins the elections she would any way have to support I.N.D.I Alliance. Now who is the chief of that gang? Shri Pappu Ghandi who she defeated . So it is better to defeat Annie Raja and allow Shri. Pappu Ghandi to win instead.

The entitlements of the woke commie press in India and their efforts to supress free speech, the very rights that they allegedly hold dear and promise to uphold, defend and fight for

A year ago, we discovered through the TwitterFiles expose that The Wire, an Indian news portal, had collected a list of 40,000 Twitter (now X) users.

The Wire forwarded this list to Twitter, asking them to deplatform these users for being "Hindu nationalist" and BJP supporters.

Many of these 40,000 Twitter users were US Citizens.

I wrote about it last year in @SundayGuardian

But Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary it seems was wondering why CJI was not there in the panel !! Looks like he can't read the CEC Act which was passed last year. I also liked the style of reporting. It was as if Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary was the decision making authority. Modi etc were just invitees.

Yagnasri garu,

Former bureaucrats Sukhbir Singh Sandhu & Gyanesh Kumar have been selected as the new election commissioners by a panel chaired by PM Modi.

Gyanesh Kumar is a retired IAS officer of Kerala Cadre who oversaw the abrogation of Article 370 as head of the Kashmir Division of Ministry of Home Affairs.

Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who is an Opposition member in the panel, registered his dissent and questioned the selection process, alleging the short-listed names of officers were not made available to him in advance.
