Every tank needs to have an anti-drone EW jamming for soft kill as well as hard kill mechanisms (laser, gun and APS).
If can’t afford to, then have less tanks but have them well equipped.

Yes takes a long lead times to set up production ecosystem and scale up from orders being placed. Usually it is anywhere between 12 months to 36 months.
