Property tycoon Riaz Malik who is currently embroiled in a suo moto hearing initiated by the Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for stating that he had been “blackmailed” by the Chief Justice of Pakistan’s son into making large payoffs is implicated in the death of Lt. Apparently in his capacity as Adjutant General of the Army, Imtiaz Hussain was the ultimate boss of the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad, which was linked in a business deal with Riaz Malik.

Looks like the unformed jihadi’s of the armed forces were seriously on the take:

You are reading too much into the Pakis. The Pakis were being intransigent so far because they thought they held the trump card (NATO routes) and could rely on China for baksheesh if Unkil denies greenbacks. Both have not materialized. Expect a massive down-hill ski and resorting GUBO position after a few face-saving statements.

Pakis were in a similar position some time back. And that was after 9/11. Amritaraj made the "Bomb you back to stone age" phone call. Envoys were dispatched to China who said "Sorry, cant help you" and Mushy assumed the GUBO position. Remember the friday protests at that time? They were broken up in 2 weeks by a dictator who did not have popular support!

The current predicament of the Pakis comes from two sources
1. Their miscalculation of the timing and leverage. They thought that Unkil is going to withdraw in 2014, so starting 2012, they could have their munnas attack TFPEs, kill a few and gain street cred. Pakis could "stand up" to Unkil and be the local hero. Unkil wont touch them because of NATO routes. And both could eventually overthrow of afghan government. Unfortunately, unlike the Soviets, losing a few TFPEs was a bit too much for unkil. Unkil had built the northern routes and also has Paki testimonials in their hands -- the money and all.

2. Domestic politics. The civvies and army are playing chicken. The army wants the civvies to start the downhill-ski (so they retain their H&D), the civvies want the army to start the downhill-ski (having learned from Kargil, where to this day army is selling the story "We nearly won, civvies made us downhill-ski"). So this is a situation similar to Kargil, where the civvies have no money to fight, the army has its testimonial squeezed. But unlike then, nobody wants to start the downhill-ski. You must appreciate Nawaz in this respect, he swallowed his H&D, met kilton sahib and took the blame for downhill-ski.

Historically, when Pakis have attempted to punch above their weight (1971, Kargil) and got a black eye in return, they have had no problem in downhill-skiing and assuming a GUBO position at the foothills. I am reasonably sure that its what they will do now.

The *mechanism* of downhill ski will be interesting though. Will Groper-Zardari combine make Ashphuck downhill ski and assume GUBO position? Or will Ashphuck replace Groper-Zardari and make the civvies downhill-ski and assume GUBO position? Will a few meet their 72 in this process? Will Pakis do a terror attack on India/Unkil for one last time before GUBO-ing to show their TFTAs that they still have their H&D?

1) Will Groper-Zardari combine make Ashphuck downhill ski and assume GUBO position?
2)Or will Ashphuck replace Groper-Zardari and make the civvies downhill-ski and assume GUBO position?
3)Will a few meet their 72 in this process?
4)Will Pakis do a terror attack on India/Unkil for one last time before GUBO-ing to show their TFTAs that they still have their H&D?

I think 2,3 and 4 will occur. 4 will occur as UPA has totally screwed up the froze Cold Start with their scams and stopping procurements. Besides look at 2009 elections, the UPA came back with bang after royally screwing up in 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack. Even in the state.

Anujan wrote:Apparently this Malik Riaz guy is quite a big shot. the Chief justice better watch out.

Mr Riaz scheme involves sucking up to TFTA jernails, who allot him prime land at throwaway prices. He then builds buildings on them, gives a few to the jernails and sells the rest. Apparently many admirals and jernails and kernails (retired of course ) are in his employment. And one of his buddies in this scheme is the brother of one Mr Assphuck.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. Other connections between Riaz and TSPA include:

* Malik Riaz's company employs other worthies such as former spokesliar for TSPA/ISPR Lt.Gen.Shaukat Sultan

* Riaz's "chief strategy" officer is ex Jarnail Ehtesham Zamir, who was Musharraf's head of ISI political wing and is notorious for "organizing" Mushy's referendum and the election of his King's Party before the current government

* Riaz also paid the ransom to release TSPian captives held by Somail pirates. Remember the stories of some under the table ties between ISI, Somali pirates and the worldwide jihadi network? Riaz is the financier behind many of those ops

My theory is that TSPA is using Riaz to punish the Chief Justice for daring to touch the Balochistan genocide issue. If things hold true to form, the judiciary will back off Balochistan and all of a sudden Malik Riaz will have "memory issues" or fires will be set to buildings housing certain incriminating documents.

A funny thing that can happen only in Pakistan.

Apparently the chief justice became emotional due to accusations that he might show some favor to his son, and pulled out a Quran and placed it on his desk and said "Fathers are not to blame for Son's crimes according to the Quran". He also claimed that the Quran will guide him and he will punish anyone who is guilty no matter how high up they might be (hinting at Malik Riaz).

Hearing this, Malik Riaz held a press conference, in which he pulled out his Quran and said that he is guided by the Quran too and told the Chief justice to come clean on several clandestine meeting between the Chief Justice and Malik Riaz.

Pakistan should "bite the bullet" in NATO routes row - U.S. official
(Reuters) - Pakistan's civilian government should "bite the bullet" and re-open supply routes to NATO forces in Afghanistan in order to ease tensions with the United States, a senior U.S. government official said on Tuesday.

The United States said on Monday it was withdrawing its team of negotiators from Pakistan without securing a long-sought deal on supply routes for the war in neighbouring Afghanistan, publicly exposing a diplomatic stalemate and deeply strained relations that appear at risk of deteriorating further. "If the civilian government in Islamabad would bite the bullet and make the political decision to open the ground lines of communication, that would deflect some of the negativity right now," the official told Reuters.

"It wouldn't automatically turn things around, but that would be an important step."

Pakistan banned trucks from carrying supplies to the war effort in Afghanistan last year in protest against a cross-border NATO air attack that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers, a measure U.S. officials initially hoped would be short term.

Although the U.S. official suggested Pakistan would have to take several steps to repair heavily damaged ties, he said the strategic allies could not afford a rupture.

"We have longer-term interests that we must keep in mind. The interests are nuclear, it is counterterrorism and it is also reconciliation in Afghanistan for a relatively peaceful and stable region," said the U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

"So you know, the heightened sentiments in Washington will eventually have to come to a point where people say hold on, we have bigger interests here."

Pakistan, for its part, is demanding an apology from the United States over the NATO strike, but it is unlikely to get one.

The NATO strike fanned national anger over everything from covert CIA drone strikes to the U.S. incursion into Pakistan last year to kill al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, and the supply routes evolved into a lightning-rod issue.

Relations with Pakistan had been poor for the past six months, said the U.S. official.

He said both the Raymond Davis case - in which a CIA contractor shot and killed two Pakistanis he suspected of trying to rob him - and the raid on bin Laden's compound had strained ties, but the final straw was the deaths of the 24 Pakistani soldiers.

"Salala broke the camel's back," said the U.S. official, referring to the location where the NATO strike occurred.

After six weeks of negotiations that at least once appeared close to a deal, the Pentagon acknowledged on Monday that the U.S. team had failed to clinch an accord and was coming home.

With the Pakistan routes unavailable, NATO has turned to countries to the north of Afghanistan for more expensive, longer land routes.

Resupplying troops in Afghanistan through the northern route is about 2-1/2 times more expensive than shipping items through Pakistan, a U.S. defence official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The announcement about the negotiators came just days after Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said the United States was reaching the limits of its patience because of safe havens Pakistan offered to Islamist insurgents, who are attacking U.S. forces across the border in Afghanistan.

Pakistan denies allegations that it uses Afghan militant groups as proxies in preparation for any settlement to the war in Afghanistan, or in the event of prolonged instability after most foreign combat troops leave by the end of 2014.

Here comes the tsunami man...
Terror war can be won in 90 days: Imran
Islamabad - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that the war against terrorism can be won in 90 days through dialogue.
He said this in his meeting with British Foreign Secretary William Hague here on Tuesday.
He said it was high time to give peace a chance through dialogue with the tribal people and added that every military operation by Pakistan army against its own people had ended in failure. “We can help Americans in their withdrawal from their mess in this region”, he added.
He told Hague what would be PTI’s agenda in the first 100 days after coming into power. He said that there was a need for good governance that means de-politicization of state institutions, bureaucracy and police. Alongside, he declared his support for devolution giving power to people at grassroots level.
Imran Khan said his party has always advocated a political solution to the problem of terrorism and militancy. He added that his first move would be to have a ceasefire and convince the US that a credible government in Pakistan could stop the militancy in the tribal areas.
Hague agreed that there was recognition that there had to be reconciliation in Afghanistan, even amongst the Americans. But "there are some people like Al Qaeda who are not reconcilable."

Memo Commission finds Haqqani guilty
ISLAMABAD: The report by Judicial Commission says ex-envoy to US wrote 'treasonous' memo to Washington.A report submitted in the Supreme Court by the judicial commission probing into memogate scandal confirmed the authenticity of the ‘memo’ and stated that former ambassador to the US Hussain Haqqani wrote the memo to Mansoor Ijaz.A nine-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed the hearing of Memogate scandal on Tuesday.
t was mentioned in the report that that Hussain Haqqani was not loyal to Pakistan as he had left the country and living abroad, adding that he has no property or bank balance in Pakistan. The memo scandal was unearthed when Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz claimed last year of having received a message from Haqqani to deliver a confidential memo to US Admiral Mike Mullen, to avert a possible military takeover and promised concessions in return. The report stated that being an ambassador, it did not suit Haqqani to give such assurances to a foreign country.

May be we are seeing it wrongly. Perhaps the Islamization of Pakistan is getting complete now that it is separated from Hindustan, its religious minorities are kicked out etc.,

Assuming Pakistan becomes completely salafist by 2020, that would mean it took more than 1200 years for Islam to completely savor Indic lands. Perhaps this answers the Pakistani child who wandered into BRF a while ago and pondered "how could Hindus leave their women and children to the mercy of Islamic thugs?". The answer is Hindus did not leave their women and children. The descendants of those hindu children consciously separated from their Hindu protectors into the depths of abyss :(

Political agent vs. CIA agent
The honorable tribal court at some secret destination tried a CIA agent captured from a secret location. The CIA agent was produced before assistant Political agent. He was duly sentenced without providing a lawyer for 33 years for assisting CIA to track down OBL who was again hiding in a secret location until the rotten CIA flew from a secret destination and exposed the location of OBL. Later he was duly buried in a secret location somewhere in the Arabian Sea.Political Agent: Swear on this book, ‘Strategic Depth’ and say that you will ‘tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.’
CIA Agent: I swear by this holy book that I will tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth! By the way Sir, who wrote this book?
Political Agent: Mushtaq Aslam Begh Yousafi
Political Agent: That proves your crime. You are sentenced for 33 years!
CIA Agent: But Sir, at least give me the 86 years sentence to give a half befitting reply to the enemy!
Political Agent: Do you think we are fools to loose 86 million dollars? You deserve 86 years that our sister Aafia Siddiqui got by the United States of Infidels. So in our national interest, I will be quite lenient. Hail FCR.

Islamabad shut a supply route in November after a Nato air-strike near the Afghan-Pakistani border killed 24 Pakistani soldiers. On Monday the US said it was temporarily pulling out of talks with Pakistan over re-opening the route.Pakistani politicians have raised concerns about US drone strikes on terrorist targets in the country. Last week the foreign ministry summoned the US deputy ambassador in Islamabad to protest at recent attacks. The United Nations human rights chief Navi Pillay has said drone strikes "do raise serious questions about compliance with international law, in particular the principle of distinction and proportionality".However, Washington insists it will continue to defend itself against enemies, including al-Qaeda.
Foreign secretary William Hague has said the UK remains an "unswerving supporter" of Pakistan's development, during a visit to the country. He said the UK's brotherhood with Pakistan would "endure" and he would urge "greater understanding" of the "challenges your country faces".His trip comes amid ongoing tensions between Pakistan and the US over supply routes to neighbouring Afghanistan.Mr Hague rejected the idea his trip was to mediate between the two countries. He is meeting President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and opposition leaders, ahead of elections in the country. The foreign secretary will also talk to women's rights activists. In a joint press conference with Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Mr Hague said: "The United Kingdom can confidently and proudly call itself a friend of Pakistan. "It is sometimes said, of course, that Pakistan is misunderstood in many parts of the world. As a Brother of Pakistan I want to urge a greater understanding of Pakistan and the challenges your country faces, including the fact that Pakistan has suffered more than any other country from terrorism." Mr Hague was asked about reports that during the trip he was trying to broker a deal between Pakistan and the US.He replied: "It's important that the United States and Pakistan are able to work together, but I have not come here today to try and adjudicate on those things or mediate on those things. As a firm ally of the United States and a deep friend of Pakistan, we hope the United States and Pakistan will be able to work successfully together in the future."
The foreign secretary's visit follows a trip to London in May by Mr Gilani. He replied: "It's important that the United States and Pakistan are able to work together, but I have not come here today to try and adjudicate on those things or mediate on those things. Hague needs to figure out what is UK to TSP. He says: Mother, Brother, supporter, deep Friend though deep "fiend" is more appropriate for having separated them from India and left them to big bad wolf. He is sounding like a Paki spokesperson.

In fact he has come to advise TSP to reach accomodation with US and resume NATO supplies.

The love the Brits had towards their brainchild Pakis, is still intact.
Hague sounds like a worried father pleading to his child.

Now Pakis are in their sixties and the jawaani started wearing out even the old farts in 3.5 friends.

Now UK is trying to put some lipstick on this pig and resell this whore to USA.

If US accepts the whore back, india can be rest assured of emergence of new world order in 20-30 years.

The point being made is very interesting because of what it actually signifies.

Right on dot, Rangudu. Malik Riaz himself must not be complacent either. The PA will eliminate him one day or another.

By calling UK as Pakistan's mother, he has reminded them that Pakistan owes them their existence.

Good point. That also implies Pakistan was "created".

I find it a bit implausible. Ashphuck's brother is involved neck deep, so are various Jernails and Kernails. I think it is a play by the civvies to tar the Chief Justice and Army in one stroke.

Evidence suggests otherwise. The CJ's son was reportedly videotaped accepting bribes inside a "Safe house". These are not civilian type ops. The videos in question have been seen by TSP journalists. If civilians had this kind of guts, we'd have seen it already.

Even if every top General is involved with Malik Riaz, Kayani and co control the extent of bad publicity for TSPA. After all, no matter what the whispers, TSPA controls whose incriminating videos get leaked and whose stay hidden.

True. That's why Malik Riaz will not reveal any details on Jernails on his payroll.
