Agree with Shanmukh here. We don't give a rats ass whether Scotland gets freedom or not. We want the Scots and Brits to be fighting each other, with weapons. That's a worthy end in itself.

Boris Johnson threatens BBC with two-pronged attack
No 10 boycotts Today programme and considers decriminalising non-payment of licence fee
Downing Street is threatening the future of the BBC by insisting it is seriously considering decriminalising non-payment of the licence fee, while boycotting Radio 4’s Today programme over the broadcaster’s supposed anti-Tory bias.

No 10 pulled ministers from Saturday’s edition of the Today programme and sources said it intended to “withdraw engagement” from the show in future.

The row is seen as an ominous sign of Boris Johnson’s willingness to bypass independent scrutiny and follows criticism of the BBC’s election coverage from both left and right.

No 10 pointed to Andrew Neil’s on-air monologue in which he lambasted Johnson for his refusal to be interviewed, and the BBC’s “extensive coverage” of a four-year-old boy with suspected pneumonia forced to sleep on a hospital floor – as supposed evidence of anti-Tory, pro-remain bias at the corporation.

Meanwhile, Labour backers have raised concerns about the BBC’s coverage, from the editing out of laughter aimed at Johnson in a news bulletin to leading reporters uncritically repeating Conservative sources, and the prime minister escaping scrutiny after dodging the one-on-one interview with Neil.

The BBC has firmly rejected such criticism. In an email on Friday, the director general, Tony Hall, wrote: “In a frenetic campaign where we’ve produced hundreds of hours of output, of course we’ve made the odd mistake and we’ve held up our hands to them. Editors are making tough calls every minute of the day. But I don’t accept the view of those critics who jump on a handful of examples to suggest we’re somehow biased one way or the other

Also recent opinion polls have shown a slight drop in Scottish support for independence.
Well, if England will not let go of Scotland, maybe the answer is a Scottish Republican Army? We can even provide moral, diplomatic and political support to the Scots in their struggle for independence from England  . Scotland was one of the first countries that was consumed by England, and so we must regard them as one of the first victims of British imperialism .....

Not a bad idea to remind them *cough* the moment they say anything about kashmir or whatever they can think of !!

Michael Gove 'absolutely' rules out second independence referendum ahead of Nicola Sturgeon request this week

Point of note,

SNP Vote share 3.9% nationally and only 45% in Scotland. They could not secure a majority vote even in Scotland in an election.

Paki not a problem but solution
In the last half century, it has also become many things: the second largest ethnic minority in the United Kingdom; a rich contributor to the cultural, political and entrepreneurial life of the country; and a source of significant national insecurity, as some of the most serious terrorist threats to Britain still emanate from Pakistan and Afghanistan. The diaspora is moreover an important currency of engagement and ‘soft power’ between Britain and Pakistan itself, whose importance to UK foreign policy could hardly be overstated, from trade and Afghan reconstruction to nuclear proliferation, radical Islam and great power rivalry in Asia.
Pakistaniyat demonstrated ie defending British from paki terrorism. The paki diaspora has taken house negro idea to reverse psychology level so people don't talk how many criminals are of paki descended in crimes ranging from terrorism to grooming gangs to illegal Sharia patrol etc.

The only neutral point in the entire paragraph is the last one ie power rivalry in Asia - which Pakis offer after making religious state from colonial India.

Thinly veiled lobbying effort. A notable exclusion from their graphs showing Pakistani, Eastern European and African communities is the Indian communities or others like Sri Lankan, that would show Pakistanis in a very bad light due to the sheer differential.

Now that UK has a party in power that is tilted towards India and hindus - India should work to exert pressure on extraditing Indian criminals given refugee in UK and also extract classified documents if any of the past (Independence era) that would expose Congress and Pakis?

But each subsequent attack weakened us and chipped away at the edifice resulting in losing our peripheral areas and large chunks of our heritage that was burned and/or torn down.

It's not about dhoti-shivering, it's about as you said, having the will to survive and also the will to be proactive.

One can argue that those days were easier to survive due to open warfare and no govt institutions to bring you down. One knew the enemy and could fight with the will. Only jaichands to worry about. There were no laws going after shivaji to restrain him. There was no police preventing locals from delivering justice and protecting invaders. It takes years to hang a terrorist. Indian British Constitution combined with govt institutions to go with is much bigger threat. Add to all that new information age, UN, China, energy dependency, etc. Way more complicated than direct fights between invaders and locals.

Tory Islamophobia inquiry runs into trouble as Conservative peer criticises academic appointed to head it - Andrew Woodcock - The Independent
The launch of an independent inquiry into the handling of Islamophobia and other discrimination in the Conservative Party ran into immediate trouble as prominent Muslim peer Sayeeda Warsi questioned the suitability of the academic chosen to lead the probe.
Baroness Warsi highlighted an article by Professor Sarwan Singh in which he accused Muslims of driving other communities out of Indian Kashmir.

A former Labour candidate says that after Boris Johnson’s election win, one of her own relatives is among people who are considering leaving the UK over fears at the ‘normalisation of racism’. Faiza Shaheen was a parliamentary candidate in the constituency of Chingford and Woodford Green, where she was hoping to unseat the former Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Iain Duncan-Smith. After the election loss, Ms Shaheen says that she has had ‘five different families discuss their UK exit plan with me in case racism gets worse’. She added that it was ‘frightening that this is where we are’. Ms Shaheed told Metro.co.uk: ‘I’ve been in touch with my cousin, who has spoken about putting some money aside in case it gets really bad, it’s been the dominant conversation.’ Boris Johnson has been accused of Islamophobia over comments he made in the Telegraph last year for comparing Muslim women to ‘letterboxes and bank robbers’.

One only needs to look at several post election news clippets in Labour towns like Redcar, Bolsover and North East where they denounce radical Corbyn and call him and Corbynism a threat to national security.

My I humbly suggest that Hindus need to pick up a bit of this attitude from the British
I alluded to it, when the eu people were being shown around kashmir

I think I saw a picture of the good Wing Commander giving this gesture with a pint in his hand!

Some people are just not worth debating with/arguing with….
This gesture and 2 choice words are enough to seal the deal
