As far as I can tell, that countdown clock is stuck at 17 hrs 29 mins, only the second hand is moving (so to say). The launch is in little more than 8 hours.juvva wrote:Count down clock at: http://www.ibnlive.com/

Re: Chandrayan-1 mission discussion
Funny, it seems they're using the local time at the recipient's computer to calculate remaining time to local 5:50 hours or so on Oct 22nd. So this is accurate only in India.juvva wrote:prao wrote: As far as I can tell, that countdown clock is stuck at 17 hrs 29 mins, only the second hand is moving (so to say). Re: Chandrayan-1 mission discussion
Listen guys,
Doordarshan should be telecasting it live, This is the webcast address of the site.
http://www.ddinews.gov.in/DDNews/rplayer.htm
So tune in at 5:20AM IST sharp for an hour long extravaganza. Other TV channels should also be broadcasting.
http://www.ibnlive.com/videos/video_streaming.php
IBNLIVE has a better resolution than DD. But for those with slower connections or if a link fails, DD should still have the feed.

Re: Chandrayan-1 mission discussion
It is 1:30 PM on East coast and must be 11.00 PM in India. The launch is at 6:20 AM IST (wednesday) i.e. 8:50 PM EST (tuesday). That should mean the clock should show 7 hours and 20 mins where as it is showing 16 hours and 20 mins. I think this count down clock is lagging by 10 hours.juvva wrote:Count down clock at: http://www.ibnlive.com/

Launch is b/w 0550 to 0660 hrs IST on 22nd. That is b/w 8:20pm and 9:20 pm EST today. ISRO will be broadcasting a live webcast. The link for the same is below.
