Re: Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan (TSP): Sep 22, 20

US has started to go through the same cycle of rage, impotence and resignation that India has beeing going through since independence with this creature called Pakistan. A creature unlike anything human history has seen.

Re: Two-G (2G) Spectrum Scam Tapes and follow-up

Chidu is the key to 2G. It is impossible to imagine that Raja could have acted alone so brazenly. Looking at chronology, it seems that Chidu was opposed to raja's pricing policy till very last days and had to suddenly change his stance under duress. The only person who could have made Chidu change h...

Re: Two-G (2G) Spectrum Scam Tapes and follow-up

One of the arguement regarding zero loss is that spectrum was sold at 2001 prices to keep call rates low and increase tele density. I have a question that why does not Government applies this policy to other licenses at its disposal like Mining license, Industrial license, etc. Why is increasing tel...

Re: The Jan Lokpal Bill, Anna Hazare, and Baba Ramdev II

It is rather strange that main stream Media has not analyzed the political impact of Anna movement beyond some token surveys. I think the impact is going to be felt, mainly, in Tier1 and tier 2 cities and that too only with middle class. While corruption does impact the poor most but the impact is in...

Thanks Pranav. So, it was another case of DDMitis. But, I think Anna and team should be careful in giving interviews as it will be continually distorted by motivated Media. They should use the media rather then be used as they have done till now.

I am not sure why PBM is giving statusquoist arguement. It is clear as daylight that existing institution have been co-opted, subverted, managed and ultimately failed. It has created a system of no risk and high reward wrt corruption. In this scenario, A stong stick needs to be there to strike fear a...

lakshmic ,

Fascinating read.

Also, your post illuminates why bum making is complex fusion of physics and engineering. How can we now say that we dont need more testing. This also explains why P5 tested so many times and why their energy are focussed on restricting testing.
