Re: Operation Balakot: News & Discussion

Looking ahead and taking the lessons from the Balakot strike, IAF wants more “technological asymmetry” to be able to “ penetrate the enemy airspace at will”, according to the report. It will be looking at better air defence capabilities. The induction of new platforms such as the Russian made S-400...

Re: Indo-UK News & Discussions- June 2017

In the future, if this serves us a fresh jump-off point for Scottish, Irish and Birming-ham-istan independence movements, it will be even more fun. To be honest this is what would delight me the most personally, and why I'm hoping for a no-deal Brexit (and also the reason why the britshit MP's will...

Re: Indo-UK News & Discussions- June 2017

Back to my question of what is in our interest... a) If Brexit happens, will UK be weaker or stronger ? And will it be in our interest ? My analysis is that UK will be weaker. And it will probably be in our interest - because we can ram through trade deals (and visa arrangements) that favour us. An...

Re: Understanding the US - Again

And speaking of that, this is a "put ur paise where ur mouth is" moment. TG needs 65,000 UNIQUE DONORS BY MARCH 31 to be eligible to get into the Debates. Not sure how close she has reached, but lets' take no chances on this. This is a critical moment for YYs. As seen above, whether u pla...

Aah..any good haggler would know that the first statement you make to try and subdue the seller is, "Maal is not good" If the Govt expects 50 bil, the vultures will circle until this expectation is beaten down. The fact that such a firesale will lead to displacement of local industries by ...

Generalizations galore. Wonder what 'south asians' are like on the competence-assessment scale. The inclusion of paquis in south asian would present an outlier-heavy sample skewing and screwing results beyond comprehension. Hi Hari, Trouble is, I see similarity in behaviors of Americans and Indians...

Re: Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan - July 07, 2009

I can't understand what the fuss is all about....
We have gone from just spectators ( of the war in Pakiland) to cheering spectators. This cheering obviously provides more ammunition to the weaker side. A good game is a balanced game.

Fantastic news and the new aircraft speaks volumes of ingenuity and hard work put in by the guys at HAL. The ALH program for over 7 years, every single day, a Dhruv would be up and flying at the HAL helicopter division. And I saw the same aircraft today flying for the first time in the RD parade and...

Having been at BR for around 6 years, I should be a BR veteran. Took awhile to muster up my courage, become a member and post my own thoughts. And so far, I have found time only for reading the hazaar posts everyday. But hey, nothing comes close.
May BR live for the next hundred years!!
