I agree with you. This is very similar to my first model. Though, it is most probably not from a fauji. Army buys them from local modelling clubs/vendors. The IC engine is for longer sortie time, as you rightly said. The launch in this picture is obviously not ideal. I would be surprised if that ha...

OIS-AT has a big presence at AeroIndia 2015. They are also showcasing a few quadcopters and fixed wing UAVs as high tech UAVs for the armed forces. A closer look at these UAVs shows that the guts of these UAVs are based on the hobby grade Pixhawk FC (or similar) and 3DR datalinks. The electric propu...

The blade antennas have not been seen on IAF Herons before, I think.

The VT- prefix is for civil aircraft.
This Embraer ERJ-135BJ is part of the IAF fleet, hence the K-xxxx serial (K-3601-K-3604).
The BSF airplane that was part of the same order is VT-BSF

Definitely not TD-1. Looks like either PV-3 or one of LSPs because it has the RWRs in place, and the smoothed out aux intake on the spine along with various bulges which were not on any of the TDs or the early PVs. Re: Su-30: News and Discussion

Thanks. I had not seen this one before.
This 252 (from 30L252) is the manufacturer construction number for the air frame which is different from the serial in service.
SB 141 was noted to have a cno of 30L246 at AeroIndia 2011, so my guess is that 30L252 ended up with a serial of SB 147 in service.
