To me, here IAF simply seems to be hedging its bets about ability of HAL to meet the delivery timeline. If IAF is hedging bets by relying on MMRCA (which would eventually be built by HAL) how does IAF expect HAL to perform better at churning out Rafales any more reliably? And asking for augmenting ...

I dont think any DE submarine can carry BrahMos and retain its manoeuverability.

The recent news about the miniturization of BrahMos into the B-3 variant would make it smaller and more manageable. Is there a possibility that B-3 could also do double duty on our SSKs?
