I think the payload can be adapted to another aircraft although the use of it as a towed decoy is not known. It should theoretically be possible.

The AIM-120A has a max range of 50 km (Source: Bill Gunston's Aircraft Armament), with a typical launch range of ~35 km. There is no proof to indicate that the C-5 has any better range than that either. Damn the fanboys who edit wikipedia.

Can you post exif info... also what lens kit did u use?

I used the standard Canon 90-300 mm lens. Requires a steady hand. Used the auto and ISO800-1/2500.
