J-35 is a certainty for the PAF, along with the PL-17. And the Chinese are not in a generous mood to be "gifting" this to Pak. All favours from the ChiComs come with expensive invoices, that Pakistan will never be able to repay. And the ChiComs know it, but they will still give it. Becaus...

Meanwhile the Pakistanis have established an interesting playbook after Balakot and Op Sindoor: deny all losses and claim a victory using photoshop. The ATAGS order may not seem too big, but if we look at the overall orders placed, the artillery modernization seems to be on track: 307 ATAGS, 114 Dhanush, 180 upgraded M46 (Soltam), 300 upgraded M46 (OFB Sharang), 190 K9 Vajras and 145 M777. That brings the overall number of 155mm howitzers ordere...

So apparently no real options then. Specific to the options part, I don't think it is strictly a matter of aircraft/SAMs. Stealth aircraft have to be based somewhere and if enemy airfields can be neutralized, then the advantage of stealth can be nullified. To take a historical context, despite bein...

The Cavalry Officer's Association has released a book called on "Armour '71" on Indian army armoured operations in the 1971 war. Given that detailed coverage of Indian armour in action (beyond a few specific engagements like Asal Uttar and Zoji La Pass) are rare, a book like this was long ...
