Re: MRCA Discussion - October 2, 2010

Me thinks that the IAF is very impressed with the Gripen. No wonder there is talk of ADA tying up with the Swede's for the AMCA. But that also probably means that the Gripen is no more in the running. Talk of the radar not being up to the mark wasnt there? Also engine being King Khan's dosent help i...

Pakistans operational requirements (according to many Pakistany posters including knowledgeble ones in various fora) require them to have a smaller single engined fighter. I don't think the J 20 fits that profile, I do believe that the Chinese will develop a smaller single engined fifth gen for the...

Grippen may lack the clout of US/Russia/EU, but it has one big advantage Sweden. Sweden is one of the world leaders in Submarine weapons and guns. Even the much maligned bofors gun, is one of the best artillery pieces that Indian Army posses. Grippen can be the icing on the cake. It offers us the a...

I get a little worried whenever I read the requirements of supercruise and TVC. I know that the requirements are not yet frozen, I am worried that these 2 things may prove to be very risky for AMCA.
