Re: Operation Sindoor - Post Conflict Analysis
Its absolutely mind blowing what we have accomplished in just a few days. My Q is - where is Babur, Raad, Hatf-x-y-z? Was it all just smoke and mirrors all along? How in the world did these Porkis not even manage to get a hit on a single airbase? If they are so incapable how in the world have we fal...

Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
"No matter how well we perform in battles and wars, that victory is short-lived if you let the enemy off to live and fight another day." This. We need to finish them off when we can. We have exposed them and can knock them out forever. We now know they are incapable of defense and cannot b...

Clinically insane in hatred of the kuffar and dysfunctional. Mark my words its only a matter of time before these mentally diseased inbred **...

Re: Operation Sindoor - Bharat Strikes Back: Jai Hind!
Armed forces did exceedingly well! Congrats! What I am a little worried about is Pak returning back to the drawing board, licks their wounds and bolsters its defences, invests in hypersonic missiles. We have the upper hand now and they have realized our offence is too precise and defense almost impr...

Re: Indian Missiles and Munitions Discussion - June'14
My understanding is that we have 5 systems - 4 batteries in each system - 4 launchers per battery - a launcher can launch 4 missiles at a time.
5x4x4x4 = 320 missiles at a time towards killing Gazwa-e-hind psychos?
Or is that wishful thinking.

Could we potentially intercept Paki missiles in boost phase with S-400? I remember reading a article once where Avinash Chander was quoted as saying that DRDO will eventually look to build ABM system that can target missiles in boost phase itself. Further, given Pakistan's lack of geographical depth...

Re: ABM/Missile Defense Discussion
Worst case, the missile targeted at Mumbai may end up taking out Panvel, or Charkhi Dadri instead of Delhi. Dont say that I am from Charkhi Dadri :) !! ...but in any case the fallout would still affect much of the NCR. Theoretically doable, but not feasible - lasers and other directed energy are pr...

Out of curiosity, how does interception/destruction of the carrier missile ensure that the warhead is also destroyed. What if the warhead is detonated upon a particular altitude....the missile might be destroyed but if the warhead is still intact it may still explode? Secondly, can we not intercept ...

Re: ABM/Missile Defense Discussion
The mission control centre computer found that the interception was not warranted and accordingly did not allow take-off of the interceptor missile. The cause of the target malfunction is being investigated by an analysis of telemetre data,' the official said. I think we can take some Solace in the...

Re: ABM/Missile Defense Discussion
No doubt we have to learn, but learning takes time, especially when you are DRDO....and judging by the neighbors we are blessed with, time is really not a luxury - so until learning isn't complete there should be a fall-back option. But this still does steer the conversation away from the merits of ...

S-400 ABM
It seems that whenever I've done a little bit of googling about ABM systems around the world, people in various forums/sites are of the opinion that S-400 is best "in-service" option....then why is it that we haven't acquired this baby yet? Is it that DRDO is once again shoving its fist do...

It took a holocaust for the Jews to develop an aggressive military mindset. In India's case, we've endured military defeats, slavery, and mini-holocausts, and yet not developed a military mindset. I was reading somewhere that Rana Sangha had access to artillery but decided not to bother/wait for it. In any case, why did Indians did not learn from tactics of Babur and adapt with it. THE KHANWA FACE OFF
After Tarain (I & II), I think the most significant battle would be the Battle of Khanua - fought between Babur and Rana Sanga. Despite numerical superiority and "home advantage", Babur won quite convincingly. This victory paved way for Babur to establish a foothold in India AND establ...
