Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion

Rathore should continue as sports minister. NS as RM is doing fine. Doval as NSA should continue for another 5 yrs as Ksshmir is going to be taken head on in this term and I suspect something may happen in Pak.

Re: West Bengal - news and strategy thread

My main concern is who is going to be the CM face. BJP will need one. Modi can't do it as people know he is not going to be CM. And if they go without a CM candidate against a powerful face like Mamata they will end up like Odisha where they had no one to take on Naveen. I see three candidates Dilip...

Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion

There are similar allegations against Baba Ramdev and Sri Sri. While we should always look out for frauds and charlatans if you take out the Sadhus and Sadhvis it is going to leave the field open for you know who.

AAP is disintegrating looks like. Another urban naxal enterprise gone wrong. They lost deposits in four Delhi seats and got very little vote in PJ even though they won one seat.

Re: West Bengal - news and strategy thread

TMC has won only in the central M belt and the bhadralok urban/semi-urban belt. BJP has won 16 of its 18 seats in the rural belt. This is because the bhadralok is still wary of the BJP and is kept in good humor with culture and other stuff. There has been very little improvement in infrastructure, e...

Re: West Bengal - news and strategy thread

Yes, the possibility of sewerage entering WB BJP is for real. Given that the BJP won 130 AS (150 for TMC) I don't think mass defections are necessary. Maybe a few good leaders.

Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion

The colonels you mention are themselves dynasts. The Mughals and the British ruled through the mansabdari system and the INC runs the same way. I don't see a way out at this stage for the Cong. The second problem is the ideology. In its early days the Congress ideology was nationalist and not anti-H...

We have to understand where the Pakis come from. The subcontinental M elites and their collaborators thrived on a system that terrorized and extracted wealth from the hard work of their non-M subjects. That is how they thrived for 1300-1400 years. Now that they have to generate wealth on their own t...

AP is mixed. some giving it to jagan others Naidu. Reason is vote % is close. BJP is getting 10% vote in AP. Naidu would have swept in alliance.
