Regarding the recent sniper use on LOC, cant we develop and deploy a few thousand Vidwanshak's cause havoc to Pakistanis on LOC, and try to take out any life on thier side of LOC while continously hunting thier snipers with all possible means.

I think the Apache in the Indian context is being purchased for APN 78 radar along with ability to control UAV's, small no of Apache will guide LCH and Armour and update ont he battlefield situation, the Apache will not be used in the manner in which the US uses them.

BM 21 rockets are much more cheaper and lighter to produce, they bring volume of fire. Pinaka is comparatively more expensive. I think L&T makes the rockets/Launchers and Ashok Leyland the trucks. We need all 3 plus Prahaar.

I highly doubt these are reverse engineering as no way you can replicate cast/ forgings, dyes , software etc used in the manufacturing. even Tu-4 was never an exact copy of the B-29. These are licensed tech transfers.

How difficult is it to fit Luneburg reflective lenses on non Stealth aircraft and Su-57 to see the impact they have, given their size cant be adding more than .1sq mtr to .3 sq mtr to the aircraft radar size. Based on that calculations can be done to see what is the radar return without it?
