Nehra's injury forces Dhoni's hand and breaks my prediction. Praanthan plays today.

SR Tendulkar run out 28 (29b 4x4 0x6) SR: 96.55

B*rd is trying hard to piss viewers. Bringing in Kambli into the conversation about running between the wickets. He was leagues ahead of all these commentators and Sehwag as well. Someone please kick his (RS) a$$.
Quote of the day so far goes to Sanjay Manjrekar though... when SG asked him to comment upon SRT's runout, all he said was "when passing judgement on runouts I prefer to keep a low profile" :D

Self deprecatory for a change...

Marten saab, there is DY Patil and there is that another &^&%£$ called Patangrao "patangya" Kadam. The latter is more suave me thinks, he had so much clout that he turned his whole educational empire Bharati Vidyapeeth into a deemed university! So he is free to do what he want...

The lion is hurt, limping, but giving it to the opposition read baaaaaad...

He should probably get retired hurt for 5-6 overs if it is so bad. Don't wanna risk your fitness in the first game of the tournament especially when team is doing well.
Oh, he got the runner. So it was Kohli the culprit who was making him run hard.. :mrgreen:

oh they have grown a lot bigger and murkier. now even the enternace test for engg. is largely rigged with the intrested parties(paying ones) advised to mark answer with pencils only(only some centers rigged) so that they can be corrected later. Even months before the Enternace test the payment from the parties intrested in top 20 ranks(not all 20 only some are available) is taken in advance and their forms alloted selected centers to give their exam. advance payment gives the student a better rank and there is no case of donation to get the attention.

Ball isn't coming to the bat, and these two are doing well to play within the limit and hitting when there is opportunity. Refreshing to see Sehwag treat balls on merit. Age I guess...

phataiya de = phor do (in Hindi) or something like destroy it

jeno = jaise (Hindi)

shalara = sala (Hindi)

mato = ki tarah (Hindi)

The way the ball was stopping at the batsman... 370 is a gooooood score, 400 would have been tough to get. Now what will the effect of dew do on top of this? will it make it stop more?

I really want to learn Bangla!
Though one doesn't need to do that to understand quotes like these:
eto koshto..jibon noshto....
:lol:
Another gem... this one is way up the paki gold standard.
ICC makes the pitches for all world cup matches...this not a bilateral series so the BCB has no control....

the ICC being the ICC has prepared a batting ptich which helps the stronger team..
