The way the ball was stopping at the batsman... 370 is a gooooood score, 400 would have been tough to get. Now what will the effect of dew do on top of this? will it make it stop more?
From what was seen previously, dew has the effect of the bowler not being able to grip the ball, which results in loss of line and length, reduced over rate etc etc

Bangla cricket forum is wallowing in self pity and offering excuses:

B D scored 280+, normally a winning score but India outscored them. How can we concede that many runs? Yea we lose only!

Agree. But except for Sreesanth others have bowled well. The problem with 4 bowlers is when one has a off day, the 5th shared bowler ends up bowling 8-9 overs...and with Sreesanth, he always has a off day.

I agree with many here. MS is doing a disservice to the team by washing dirty langoti in public. Pranthan is a retarded guy but he still is one of the best bowlers in the county. He should be handled with a bit more respect.

We have to find a way to fit Raina in the team. Having both Gauti and Kohli in the team is a bit of a luxury. I think Gauti should get the nod ahead of Kohli because Yuvi will be persisted with throughout the tournament.
Raina has won many a match for us while chasing, we can't underutilise that experience.

Sehwag rubs it in:

Sehwag is the Man of the Match: "It was a good start for the team, I have said this is a revenge game and we have won. I have said before Bangladesh are not good in Tests, but they can compete in ODIs, but today they could not. I was looking to bat long, maybe get a 100 in 30 overs and then go on. Special thanks to my physio for helping me, I was carrying a couple of injuries and they got me ready for this game. Well, the team - everyone did well, other than Sreesanth ... "

Ouch!

Why do we need Yousuf Pathan? This is not T20.

Why can't we have Raina and Kohli both?

Because

Pathan can win you a game from any situation on these wickets. 138 runs required in 10 overs, Pathan is one of the few guys who can win it for you.

This Indian side is much better than the Sri Lankan side that won the WC in 1996 in the sub continent. Sachin will have to do an Arvinda D'silva, Sehwag will have to do a Jayasuria, Bhajji will have to do a Murali, Dhoni will have to do a Ranatunga and Zak will have to do a Vaas for us to lift the cup. Yuvi, Raina, Kohli and Pathan are the wild cards. AoA!
