Could be a photo shop job. I am not saying that "Love Jihad" is an out right lie, but I dont think NDF folks are idiots to openly come out with such posters which give their full addresses and contact person details.

Pillai raises important points : by his own logic,
(1) any investigation that is carried out under his tenure and which also finds "Right wing Hindu" terror is equally likely to have been falsely implicated by officials [once you discredit your own institution, its legitimacy is forever gone]
(2) in the future he will also be liable to be possibly found guilty for false implication and therefore liable for penalties and "actions".
(3) he ignores the possibility that the government is seen as pandering to Islamist violence, by not being able to take a single positive step to redress the grievances post 26/11 for example, and protective of only Islamist interests. It can be that his own administration is the root cause for providing incentive for potential growth of "hindu right wing" militancy. If this is proved in the future, he should also be prepared to face the music then!

(1) Malik should consider that his Islamist's birather's behaviour towards non-Muslims of even his state, could be an equal cause of anger on non-Muslim part against Kashmiri Islamists.
(2) Violence against Kashmiri's outside the state of Kashmir? That proves that Kashmiris can travel, settle, do business outside their state. How many of them have returned to the Valley because of that suppose maltreatment outside their state? However, Yasin's state does not allow non-Muslims of India to settle, and do business in the valley. Whatever was there, his pals hounded out - raped, looted and massacred.
(3) Sure - non-violent popular methods are not the domain of only Kashmiri Muslims. Applause to Malik - for he raises the idea. Malik should think what may happen, if a non-violent Egypt style popular movement starts with demands that go against Islamist interests? Of course the Congress type gov's, the Congress party, and their leftist and other opportunist and ideologically confused adjunct will come out on Malik's side and may proudly justify state-violence on such popular movements.

The army beat up the protesters in Tahreer square. Malik should wait until more reports of torture and killings by the Egyptian army comes out. If the army seriously attacks the Square-protesters, it is the end of the army long-run. If the army in India comes out under orders of the Congress to violently suppress a "Hindu" popular non-violent movement, it will be the end of the upper echelons of the army. But Malik has only the Congress as protector, so he should tread more carefully!

Malik should understand his own logic - Egypt's lessons are when the rashtra suppresses the demands and objectives of the majority, the rashtra crumbles. Kashmir is a mere province, a region within the "rashtra" - and a rashtra whose majority are not Kashmiri-Muslims. So Egypts happenings will happen with the correct "majority" not majority within a small valley.

One would have expected the Maulana to play an important role in this. Instead of staying on in Pakistan during Mr.Kerry's visit he has come away to India, reportedly to lend a helping hand in sorting out the differences in Deoband and to ensure that nobody in Deoband deviates from the policy of opposing Shri Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister of Gujarat. This would show that L-Affaire Deoband has greater importance in his eyes than L'Affaire Davis.
Why is Fazlur Rehman allowed to meddle in internal politics of Indian organization? I find this disturbing.

“Aziz Burney’s ‘defeat’ does not augur well for the Urdu media. It has vindicated the charge that Urdu media has a paranoid psyche and hallucinates the ghost of conspiracy in every affair and does not have faith in the government, the security agencies and the army. Indeed, even a casual reading of practically any Urdu newspaper creates the impression that Indian Muslims are in a state of jihad against their own country.
New thread idea: Monitoring Urdu press in India. I don't know Urdu hence cannot contribute to that thread. People who know Urdu can start the thread if the idea is worthy of considering.

Kerala Govt. gives nod to prosecute IGP Thachankary for amassed wealth
More importantly, the terror links need to be investigated.
The State government has reportedly given sanction to the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) to prosecute Inspector-General of Police Tomin Thachankary on the charge of amassing wealth beyond the known sources of his legitimate income. The government has acted on the basis of a report filed by the VACB earlier. However, any move to prosecute Mr. Thachankary will require Central government sanction.

any news on the kidnapped DM in orissa??
no bits on whether govt is doing anything for his release. guess they should not do any negotiations with the reds as there is very little chance that reds will harm him. read somewhere the DM was quite popular with the public, any harm to him will get them the public wrath.

Pakistani Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to be charged under customs act

As he is a Pakistani, the first thing to do is to investigate his terror links. It must be a standard procedure in India to assume any Pakistani as a terrorist first and proceed from there. This guy has been caught with large sums of foreign currency which must raise the antennae immediately.
Celebrated Bollywood singer from Pakistan Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and his manager, from whom undeclared foreign currency was allegedly seized by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence at Delhi airport a week ago, are to be charged with offences under the Customs Act.

Apparently, Fazlur Rehman had flown to India in 2007 as well, to broker peace between Madanis. So this is not a one off thing. I am astounded that this has just slipped under the radar of BRF without discussions. What does it show about Indian Muslims & their institutions?

All forces (military, paramil - state or central, police) audit ammunition. Ammunition is not freely available to all and rationed very carefully, especially the police forces who don't fire a high amount anyways. Unspent ammo has to be deposited back to the armoury. Any mismatch will mean a negative remark in service record for armourers.

Is there any one in this world who is not angry or wanting to assassinate NaMo ( even Indresh Kumar and Col. Purhit were supposedly angry against him as per secular media   )?

Even then the man manages to get majority seats in 3 elections despite every one and their uncle supposedly being angry at NaMo.. what does say about the bias of the "secular" DDM?

Their editor, Vinod Sharma gets more animated and ultra pro INC in any debate on TV ( he was the only guy defending INC during the worst days of 2G scam when event he congress spokesperson was preferring to remain mum)....sometimes, Manish Tiwari or Jayanthi have to step in to cool him down. That clearly reflects in all the articles in HT these days.

If I am not mistaken, the first charge sheet put up in a court by the NIA would be the Kozhikode City Twin blast case. The court have allowed the NIA plea to allow an In Camera Trial.

This article is psy-ops before the verdict to claim the victims are angry at Modi govt for not doing enough relief for them.

One thing the people should eschew is use strong words for they will be twisted by DDM for agenda purposes.

HT being a secular paper is expected to misuse them.
