Rightly said Hari Gmabhir was having strike rate of something around 65 that time so god has to take the burden in order to keep the run rate going

we have squandered away an opportunity to make a comfortable 350. This is second time since the match against England. We have lost the touch to convert successful starts into big totals. Can our middle & lower order only bat under high pressure ?

a chankian interpretation would be a 350+ total would make our bowlers perform as badly as they have done so far.

now they have a fight and they need to prove themselves, because you can be sure in knockout stage there will be matches where bowlers will need to save us.

better they try their best here and shape up.

Heck, seems in non-powerplay overs, by icc rules, need to have between 2 and 5 fielders outside the circle.

Else, maintain the darned powerplay field settings for all 50 overs only!

Fielding has improved....nice to see that. Bowlers have to maintain good line & length. Learn steadily for the QF and beyond?

What is that instrument in the stadium....pae p pa paeeee, kind of like nadasvaram :-)

seems like sachin is off the field and Raina in for him. happened in some games lately though good for TI, while batting god is there and while fielding a ggod fielder is in

may be SA are thinking they will have a go at part timers if they have wickets in hand and are happy to get 3-5 off the regular guys.

he wants to get away with part timers 10 overs quickly. So that when later SA takes charge, they will have to deal with regular bowlers.

Not bad tactic, guys are giving only 4-5 an over... Save Bhajji for the harder hitting overs...

heat dust and flies of the summer in the ukraine steppe
panzer armies milling around shooting at fleeting targets
the red army is nowhere to be seen
instead bands of irregulars, partisans and 3rd line units launch harassing attacks and pinpricks on the flanks of the panzer columns
the SS eat their bully beef and curse the weather and swat the flies
...
...
but far to east of placid muddy waters of the mother volga
unnoticed by the luftwaffe friesler storch scout units
fresh forces are filtering in and forming day after endless day
gen eremenko's tank army prepares to ford the volga quietly far south of stalingrad...
Operation Ajgar has started.

I dare say its better we take our chances on YP+YS than the mahdi and nehra. nehra esp has a tendency to leak runs.

Why are they called part-time bowlers, if each is expected to bowl 2-4 overs every match, huh?

we need the ball very low and slow, with no pace for batsman to use...the occasional skidder to bowl/LBW someone would help.
