Ganguly said the pitch is good for spin later on.
Must restrict them below 270 and then take the chase. Munna should finish his quota before 42 overs.

i've stayed at home for the day to watch... and by that fact alone I fear I have already jinxed TI but I will not say how, from dread superstition, until Dilbuddin confirms it ... after the match begins (before doesn't cut it).

Pissed off already in anticipation

I don't like the rendition of our national anthem. It is rather weird sounding.

raina, kohli and yuvi in inner ring, i suppose our fielding will be good today with one weak link... munna, others being safe.

Just like JE Mennon I have also taken leave to watch this match... hope it pays otherwise weekend will be lost in giving competition to devdas

The passion with which Gawd was singing national anthem is thrilling to watch. He & Sree were the most devoted.

Using my son's Ti-184 calculator, the current rate puts Australia with a score of 150 runs at the end of 50 overs onlee. India will win.

For the last 3 overs, they have been conceding boundaries off the last ball. Zaheer's straying on the leg stump was especially wasteful. You've got a rhythm going, why not concentrate harder and cripple the run scoring?

They bowl the 5 balls tight, and then finally one boundary. Rips the heart out.
We need a wicket now.

nothing happening for zak. they should get munna in and save zak for a spell around 30th over and the death.

anything over 250 against lee/tait/johnson under lights is well nigh impossible on this track. expect clarke to take out a couple as well. ashwin should try a few doosras IMO.

I agree. Lost cause happening. Get that sinking feeling only. Still, continuing to watch hoping TI gives decent competition rather than fold up like WI did or like the WC2003 finals. :((:((

Again, bhajji bowls 5 tight balls and the last one is on the leg, gives away 2. Nothing like a maiden to send worries up the batsman's mind.

Tight first 5 balls result in Watson having to swing. Great bowling Ashwin.
